That washer helps the regulator read pressure correctly. It sits evenly around the threads so the fuel can be fed in evenly manner. Using the normal washer the pressure can be super low or spike up to 70+psi. Simple things can cause the biggest headaches

@@wrk_in.progress7524 B18C and B16B are common enough where we never need to consider using what they consider to be a lesser engine. If it’s a Type R, it’s gotta have a Type R B16B, B18C or K20A.
The reason the idle is bouncing is because the ICAV or whatever is stuck open or there is massive airlock causing the Coolant sensor to read cold and is allowing excess air to pass when the TPS is at 0%. Most of the time we just disable them and turn them off but this one might be on a stock, unchipped ECU like most of them are in Japan🤣

When my honda does the surging idle it's 99% of the time the iac. Idle air control valve. Hope that helps someone. 👨🏻🔧🤘🏻 Great video btw.
