- Testing the the AliExpress AMD RX 580 2048SP GPU to see if it worth buying for only £40/$50. Is this cheapest brand new graphics card you can buy that is actually good for gaming in 2024 ?

QUICK UPDATE - This card no longer works after having used it approximately 4 times. I tried contacting the seller with no response and Ali Express would not do anything as it was past the 15 day guarantee soooo, like I said in the video you really need to weight up the risk.
For a mid range card released in 2018 I am pleasantly impressed but would you buy PC parts from AliExpress ?
You probably got a used mining card, with a custom fan shroud put on it to make it look new.
This is why I would use PayPal, it has your back for 6 months

I just bought this card an NVME M.2 1tb and an 870 Evo SSD 1tb from Ali Express for 90 Euro... I have a few spare parts hanging around such as a Ryzen 5 3600 a cooler, some RAM etc all I need now is a Motherboard and Case and I'll build a sub 250 Euro Medium Settings Budget Gaming PC to go under my TV... it's mainly going to work as a server but will play most everything from my STEAM and EPIC library as well.... it's just a secondary PC as I have my main PC in my game room... but even that is only running an i5 6500 and a 1660 Super... no need to go mad on parts.
That Finals one is odd because my 570 plays the game no problem and no messages at the start of the game. I wonder if it’s just something to do with the manufacturer and it not being from more known manufacturer. If anyone has answers. I’m listening
Would be good to test games that people that would buy this card play. Testing games like Fortnite, Warzone etc that are played more would give us a better understanding of the performance

These are good questions I don't have the answers to but I suppose you have to consider the risk of a product like this not lasting as long
These are usually salvaged cards that are pieced together from mining rigs. They should still last, though.
My current rig has a placeholder GTX 550 ti in it, and it runs older games with low hardware requirements just fine. If you're looking to play games up to about the time Starfield released, an RX 580 2048sp will suit you fine. Late 2023-2024 and on games are starting to require DX12 Ultimate and raytracing features, so honestly don't expect a ton of futureproofing from that card. I'm still going to get one to replace my 550 ti
What drivers did you use with the gpu? I bought the same one, but the amd's drivers dont work on it
Definitely the same one ? Lots of similar ones on there. While it worked I just downloaded the adrenaline software and got the driver from there 🤔

It will not support frame generation unfortunately but will benefit from the improvement of FSR 3 upscaling.

That's not an RX 580, it's an RX 570.2048 SP is a 570, everywhere else but China.
Вы хоть немного разбираетесь в видеокартах или всё подряд записываете? У нормальной rx580 cpu clock 1300-1400mhz, а memory clock 2000. 1750 только у 4 гигабайт версии. О чем это говорит? О том, что это не полноценная rx580. Не благодарите, умники. И меньше обзорщиков слушайте.
