I have 16gb at 3200mhz in dual channel. I will upgrade sometime in the future but for now it's enough for the games that i own. At the moment i'm playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and i have some stutter here and there but not enough to bother me.

I think I remember that being fairly Ram hungry but also not the best optimised game.

I've have 32, not even close to using it all but I just bought my pc and felt like future proofing my PC. I found a sweet deal on amazon for non EEC ram which is fine for what I do for $26 for 16g single stick its only 2666mhz but that what the other stick is so I stuck with that. As long as my rig runs the games I want to play is all that matters to me, I'm not in a competition.

Really good price that. Exactly, as long as it does what you want.

It all depends on the games and programs you use. I have 64gb and I play a lot of DCS world flight sims which are memory demanding, and some maps use 45-50gb of ram. And there was a big difference when I upgraded from 32 to 64. Had stuttering with 32gb

The Last of Us remastered needs more than 16 Gb RAM !! RE4 Remake is also beefy in RAM too, Forspoken .... etc ........... you should include all those games.

I noticed after upgrading to 32gb ram some games using as much as 25gb in 1440p, so games can use the extra ram. I imagine moreso at 4k

With no question asked yes you need 32gb ram, if you want to play most new games since this year, i finly see 16gb is not enought, when i stared to play more and more new games

Hi Tom! I liked your video very much!
I have a question: do you think 64 Gbs is to much? I will use my gaming Laptop for 3D modeling and similar tasks. It has 8gb video card.
    Thanks!

Thanks! It really depends how complex the modeling is. If they are, then 64GB will really help you out but 32GB should be enough in most scenarios and applications.

@@tomstechtable oh I see! Well, since I'm a beginner, I will start with not so quite detailed stuff. So I'm going for 32 GB first, then in the future 64 GB it's my target. Thanks a lot! Happy new year!

These were all at 4K though, the sweet spot is pretty much 1440p, does that make much difference?
