  • I discovered a macro lile mode on the Xperia 1 V that really took me by surprise on how well it works.
    I will show you how I did it and if it really can keep up with dedicated macro modes in other smartphones.
    What do you thonk about it?
    Did you knew about it or tried it out already?
    Are you still on an older Xperia and tried it out? If yes what is your experience?

    For fast focus , turn on continuous focusing and touch on the area / subject you want to focus on. If low light , turn off basic/ auto/ HDR.

    On my 1 V it looks like it crops the sensor when zooming 24mm-85mm on the main lens. 85mm on the main lens looks so much better than the 85mm on the telephoto lens, to the point where when the 5 V comes out without the telephoto lens, it won't be a great loss.

    • @josephaquino3095

      Maybe that is the point why 5V is rumored to exclude telephoto.

    with my 5ii i mainly used the main sensor too for macro like shots. and then with the photography pro app and use the middle square thing for focus point. easier to aim at a bee for example

    Thinking to switch from S23Ultra. But I have questions guys. Everytime should I makae manual settings for capture? Because it's a mobile phone and in our pocket so whenever see something we want to get out of pocket and capture immediately. So S23 ultra and the most of them do that. How about 1V? Is basic or full auto mode is also great as manuel mode?

  • @elit3zotya764

    Can you please take a look inside the bad display calibration which is an issue for nearly every 1V user. Showing greenish tint of the display and black crush when going under 90% brightness level. Obvious when looking at darker pictures taken with the camera or for example in the settings menu of the phone with active dark mode. In my opinion a no go for a photographer because picture quality of low light or dark pictures looks terrible out of the display but in reality it is not bad. Thanks

    • @lltechview
      @lltechview  Год назад +1

      I know this issue from older Sony devices as well. Only had it once though with the Xperia 10 V. And they fixed it there. I don't have this issue with my unit.

    • @joseemanuel2024
      @joseemanuel2024 Год назад

      @@lltechview Are you sure? I tested 5 different Mark V and all had the same issue. I don't believe in an 5/5 jackpot. When you are in dark room and turn on dark mode, go to settings menu (because of the gray theme) and shift the brightness up and down in the upper third of the adjustment level there should be color shift at about 80-90 %

    • @lltechview
      @lltechview  Год назад +1

      @@joseemanuel2024 Its a slight readjustment it when I move the slider that I see. But the blacks are back to blacks when you go lower. I think it is switching to a different dimming algorithm there.

    • @joseemanuel2024
      @joseemanuel2024 Год назад

      @@lltechview very strange. Because I tested nearly 10 units mark IV and V and all had this issue. I have just made a video but it shows little worse than it is in reality. Can you compare to your signs of color shift at this point. Would be really interesting because it would be the first unit I see without that issue
