Always good to get another guess the program segment.
Always great when they play Guess the program..I wish they would do the Gordon Solie trivia again too
Did they just do that the one time? I remember it being so funny because of some of the strange cards lol
I get my fix for gs trivia on charting the territories.
Corny hitting that 50's Boston program is something. The man seriously knows his stuff
You know professional wrestling is healing when Jim and Brian casually drop a new Guess The Program segment.
Yeasssssass the best segment! Lets go
Always a good day when you have a Guess the Program. Best segment in pro wrestling today.
I imagine Brian smells like a New Jersey Deli, which has had a burst sewage pipe in it. So cold Rubins and crap.
A very specific niche fetish. Wave your freak flag high.
damn what did he do to you ?
Go back to sniffing Tony Khan's Taint
I've got a fever! And the only cure! Is Guessing Programs.
wrestling manager Bruce Dickinson took Stan Hansen to the top when he told him "Stan, baby, I gotta have...more cowbell"
All Right! I love these, cause I always learn about someone new to research that I hadn't heard of previously.
I knew C.O.D. as cash on delivery, but it can also mean collect on delivery also. Yeah I don't think anyone does that anymore.
Locally, people around here think of C.O.D. as College of DuPage.
Wish they did more of these, I love them. Need to do a new omnibus of the new episodes.
...And Justice for Cornette
I hoped somebody besides me instantly thought of Metallica. lol
Even though it's missing the piles of dollars weighing down the scale and the ropes pulling down the statue, I still saw it.
My favorite thing on all of RUclips is Jim trying to guess the program. And I have a Premium subscription. It just doesn't get better than this.
Imagine getting a wrestling t shirt at an event for $1 now.
To give your eyeteeth means to give something precious.
Moon Mulligan was Rrandy Tyler
I love these segments!!! ❤
I legit didn't know there were 2 Joe Savoldis! I'm only familiar with the one from the 80s that wrestled for ICW.
The real last name of Angelo, Mario and Joe Savoldi the younger was Fornini. Vince McMahon used to jokingly reference Angelo in his 1970s era TV commentary by mentioning Fingers Fornini, which may have been the original wrestling name of Angelo Savoldi.
Awesome.A new one . I've listened to the omnibus enough to where I was starting to remember the answers.
Your wrestling knowledge is second to none Mr Cornette.
Putting the good shit at the end
Enjoyed the wrestling history talk & also, got familiar with the pause and rewind buttons real quick, with this segment
I could listen to you guys play Guess The Program all day long
Love my Lubbock
Chief Don Eagle should have a Dark Side of the Ring.
The phrase "bet your eye teeth" basically means it's a sure thing. The eye teeth are the canines, and as they're important for biting, you wouldn't want to give them up.
the term eye-teeth was mainly due to them not being well known as canines in the day - they usually are inline on your face with your teeth, hence the colloquial term 'eye-teeth' caught on.
Col. Buck Robley, baby! Don't call me yella!
My favorite segment. Nothing compares to Guess the Program.
@14:50 We had a similar situation in Milwaukee in the 1950s. I have an ad for the nightly wrestling show on WXIX channel 18. XIX being the roman numeral for 19 where they were previously. Now they're WVTV and still on channel 18. They were also the longtime home of the AWA's syndicated show until it became one of the first TV stations that Vince bribed to carry the WWF.
That first program, I only recognized 4 names, and the only time I know they were all wrestling was 1941. So I just randomly guessed 1941 Chicago. Haha
The last company i worked for still did COD because a lot of our customer base was pretty old.
Brian, buddy, run the synth, we love the synth, enough with the organ.
Ive been replaying the omnibus episodes waiting for a new GTP
Another Guess The Program with Jim and Brian
GTP! Let's go!
Poor mr Rex he has the social life of a slug 😂
When I started watching wrestling in 1970 the top babyface was Danny Little Bear. The first time I saw a video of Don Eagle it was easy to see how much he influenced guys like Little Bear.
"Jack Pfefer's war with every promoter who wasn't Jack Pfefer." And it's a good thing the goofy man didn't win, a tragedy that Vince Junior did thirty years later.
Mr. Rex = Enrico Pardi
Jim should do play guess the program attitude era edition 😊
Well, know we need to know who Mr. Rex was! Sounds like the early version of the Midnight Rider.
Of all the wrestlers that were before my time as a fan, I think the one I would like to have seen most at a live event would have to be Bruiser Brody.
The ultimate pro wrestling game show!
Love this stuff
my favorite segment from the drive thru
Love Guess The Program. 10/10
I work for a company that still does COD for certain accounts. If you're COD with us its because you Were on a credited company and missed several payments.
The Bat might have been Joe Tomasso
🙌
I love Guess the Program.
I wish every day was Guess the Program Day or Gordon Solie Day
Love this Corny content
I teeth = incisors
Wrestling gold right here
Elimination test sounds like something tony khan would book
I looked it up Mr Rex. He wrestled under lots of other names Black Angel, Hank Pardi, Henry Pardi, Masked Marvel, Mr. Rex, Pat Kelly, Russian Angel, Russian Crusher and Tony Angelo. I dunno which alias was more famous
Tony Angelo was the original manager of Ivan Koloff in WWWF in an early run there. Supposedly he sold the contracts of Koloff and The Mongols to Lou Albano to begin Albano's managerial career. Angelo wore an eye patch, and I think his real name was Henry Pardi.
This drops right before bedtime. Gonna laugh my ass to sleep tonight. 🤣
My last name is MEMMOTT🎉🎉🎉
…And Jim for All
Caninines bro
Hulk Hogan played bass on WHAT ALBUM?
Metal up the A$$ Metallica.brother!
Metallica's Black album, brother! Much love HH
Gtp!♥️
I almost thought Brian was going to break out into Mr. Crowley.
Wish I had lived in Lubbock back in 81.
If you go there now, you’ll think it’s still 1981 lol
@@mattlong81 I live in Lubbock now. It's definitely not 1981. Two of the three fastest growing school districts in the state are here. Place is booming at a ridiculous rate.
@ just kidding bro.
Eye teeth are your fangs.
I've been playing Disk Gulf for the last 9 minutes
The original Jumping Joe Savoldi became an operative for the OSS (forerunner of the CIA) in World War 2.
Dang earliest I’ve ever been
Guess the program is such a fun game on this podcast YEET lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Finally
Brian is shockingly ignorant.
How so?
@xvicious5150 Eye teeth...
@@danielburger1775 yeah? And?
@@xvicious5150 Everyone knows what eye teeth are.
Except you and Brian...
@@danielburger1775 this may come as a shock to you, but the world's a lot bigger than whatever country bumpkin state you live in, and these sayings don't exist everywhere. Brian is from Jersey, that saying isn't common in Jersey. I'm from Australia, it doesn't exist whatsoever here. Talk about ignorant
Yeet!
That's going to be the greatest royal rumble review 😂
@@Will_kid_cortez it’s the anti AEW thing. It’s not about work rate but how over you are with the crowd. Him facing Gunther makes tons of sense. Leaves Cena vs Cody
That segment on Raw sold me. The people came unglued Yeeting for over 10 minutes straight.
