- If you want to make gold in New World then this is a recap for some people who don't know how. There's 2 main ways of making raw gold that I think you should consider.

You can save the chests from the corrupted breaches and open only 2 per day. For instance, lets say on Saturday I run portals and close 15-20 portals, I only open 2 of the chests and then Sunday when I log in I open another 2, same Monday,Tuesday,Wed etc... That way if you don't have as much time during the week to play you can open only when the chests drop the gold.
Something to keep in mind for the corrupted breach coin sacks, what you could do is just farm a ton of level 25 and 35 caches and then keep them in your storage and just only open 2 per day. you don't actually have to do 2 breaches just open 2 caches
yer am doing that for long time i did 600 major jsut to prove a point am gonna stop at one 1k proving for some frends that am really bygged and can´t get the ga some artifacts are locked for me for some resion all agred to give me 50k eatch if i was right so am not gonna have any money problem not becuse i had it any time running 9 carr 3 accounts back to back for almost a year now
The devs said in a video that they "try to respect everyone's time" when it comes to gold, but the only people that find success with gold are the ones that own territories, or get really really lucky with selling items.
I'm convinced the devs play on their own internal server with dev tools because it doesn't feel like they play their own game on regular servers 😂

Dude, at the beginning of the expansion i was around 125k, I am sitting now on 850k, I don’t own a territory and I don’t had that much luck when crafting :)

If you want gold, place buy order for hearty mount meals and flip them. They are the choke point for people who dont care to do mount quests (Read: 99% of the player base) and on my server they are always out. I place a buy order at 80g a piece and sell then at 350g a piece. Its great
It would be nice if some of the townboard missions gave more gold.
thanks for highlighting the issue Jay.. its a dire situation right now.. its not only took my coin, all my motivation is gone too as everything now feels like a job, not a game. Do we remember them saying by removing wards & banes there would be less grind..
instead of ward/bane its enchanted/slash/thrust/strike/elemental protection
I just bought this game because I saw one of your other videos.. Been playing it a bit today. Lowkey salty at myself for not buying the addon (was buying other games at the time of the purchase and didn't know about the mounts) because the random people I was running with.. all had mounts. I was just sitting there directing my auto-run in regret..
So to summarise, you should each day: Do 3 PVE Faction / Kill 2 Named Bosses or 2 Portals / 3 Vaults from Elite Chests / 3 Bags from Turkeys.
All for around $5k which is the cost of a single Seal. Time vs Coin is our of sync for sure. It will take months to save up enough for one ultimate trophy, let alone 3.
I have not been getting 10x gold for faction missions, just the base amount. Been checking everytime.
You only get 3 daily bonuses. You want to maximize the bonus and do the faction missions with highest gold/faction point return for first 3.
Do you know about the azoth inductor from the event ? what is the timer for that

The inductor is a dumb craft it's insane20 days of cool down Mats way to expensive
the 3-a-day faction bonus gives NO extra cash only more faction rep. i just tried it.
it gives extra cash for me, maybe your game is bugged? i dont know but i do get a daily bonus for the first three of the day and always have, its the first thing i do when i log in like most people
Chromatic seals draw a Lot of Gold out of the economy causing the deflation
All the items from the faction vendor cost way too much gold. I pointed this out in their survey hopefully AGS will listen.

I think the faction bonus gold is broken atm. Just checked again and only getting paid from faction vendor what it says on the mission card...no extra gold (and yes, I had 3 still available for the day)

So much effort, thank you for the great video. However one quick note:
It's too slow, and the game isn't providing a good measure of making gold. The Chromatic Seals and Azoth Inductors are ruining the economy, people's money are going there and it's not circulating back between players creating a huge economical money sink. They should have made the chromatic seal require a crafted item + faction tokens rather than money..

ye spot on & to add to it, im still trying to do trophies too so even if i grafted the 100 shards & saps myself, i'd still have to pay faction 7 more 45k at some point too... the whole coin situation has ruined the game.. im not even in a rush to get geared out, i just know the way i played for 6 months is not viable any more and my future is bleak for a long time.

Do ennead instead of genesis,it takes about 6-7 min per run and avg golds is 650g+ ish

The best faction misson to do as a crafter is specifically the scalefang enclave mission in elysian wilds (pvp mission). 180 gold and 11.5k raw tokens (loyalty bags its like 12k tokens?) it takes like 5-7 minutes per run. You simultaneously get your 3 concealed crates too. If you calulated this weekly you can buy a seal daily and azoth inductor weekly without doing anything else for tokens at all for the rest of the week. I mention this because i see so many people grinding great cleave quests and wasting thier time.
I’ve been running this one since the dlc came out! It’s so good but lately I’ve had an issue actually getting it. It used to always be up for me but now I usually have to clear the first light one out 2 or 3 times for it to show up. But yea the scalefang mission is goated

What do you mean by hardcore players getting so much gold from towns?
Owning a town gives the controlling company a (tiny) part of the taxes on crafting/trading. It adds up, and the companies usually then divide it amongst their war roster.
well lets say you own 4 towns and pull in 3 million gold weekly for owning them. Then you pay 40k or so per invasion, upgrades if needed, and decs. Then split it amongst the company so they get like ~20k a week. Maybe if the server is large or you own most of the towns that number could be higher of course.
Bro lets be honest there is no good way of making easy gold on NW . You can go contest 100 bots to farm ore and try to sell that or you can do all the petty things this video tells you about to make about 5k a day from grinding your ass of doing boring quests . But what is 5k if you need around 100k to make a BIS piece ? For instance i play on cannis now server is death AF havent sold anything on market for days no players and no money because the game has huge money sinks like 5k a day for seals and what not so alot of gold gets deleted and the game has no other way of pumping gold into economy then starter quests and daily quests

Yeah its so hard to make gold now. Back then i can make 30-70k per day with mutation. Now its not that profitable anymore since this loot bias and most of item are bind on pickup or bind to player for some reason without using it. And rarely drop bind on equip even with 3major luck. Mutation now suck
Note: i dont always play EVERYDAY. I just play in weekend but in that time i can make 100-130k in 2 days just doing dungeon and selling some gears/weapons. Sometimes more if i got really lucky with BIS back in the day
The amount of gold needed in that expansion is alienating, as much as the farming playstyle it forces you to have. And all of this is to create artificial content by forcing you to farm gold in order to compensate for an expansion that is somewhat small, much much smaller than Brimstone in fine.
True. i used to enjoy a few hours a week chilling & walking about map finding things i needed, i never ran the video routes, i just had my own smaller ones but now everything feels so much effort i find myself staring at inventory or on these types of posts more than enjoying any content

Bots are ruining the market, this needs to said out there. In caballa every is soooo cheap . Very hard to farm and make money
its not the same with the reality... my first mission fraction only got 8- 11 gold.. not 200++
yes.. the area zone is level locked usually.. L60 zones give about 240 gold for the highest quests from what i remember. Keep your eyes out for the expedition & elite zone quests as they always give the highest amounts for the area.. but its still not quite enough for what we need atm.

I think they need to at least double the amount of coin earned from the daily activities.
No, this will just cause inflation and the prices will just go even higher, so in the end it would be the same. What they should do is reduce prices on items purchased from vendors to reduce the sink…

Out of the context but here is the way to play new world casually. Earn money in real life, buy some coins, and enjoy new world contents without playing long time a day. That's what i do to play new world without losing my job.
Sad but true. I ran some back of the napkin math and it would take over 50 hours to farm the same amount of gold I could buy with 1 hour of work.

Erm, you can put a gem slot on most artifacts using the faction vendor perk craft mod, it's fair, you just need to know to do it.

Soloing faction missions (elite) is a bit hard, even at max level. However, maybe I just suck at the game... lol...

This run takes roughly an hour to 2 with out multiple expedition runs and can land about 2.5k gold. You can also sell drops from mobs for added money but it won't be by much.

weak war guys are probably pulling in 5k a week per player assuming they own a side terri. It can be significant if one company owns half the map of course.

Spending hours a day just to get the gold to get the item REQUIRED to get any decent armor. Plus you have to get ALL THE MATERIALS on top of that. Trash game right now.

The economy does not make sense, Why spend hours farming $10,000 gold when one good item in the TP is about $280,000?? People are buying Asian online gold and hundreds of thousands of dollars, Euros and pounds are going to China every day. This is all %$!!*? up. Gold farming is 2ND worst part of this game. It's a grind!!! Want to talk about gold , how about 1st worst part of this game meager availability of dark matter!! THIS ALL PURPOSELY DONE FOR LACK OF GAME CONTENT. The lack of an exchange currently is making this game a freaking GRIND!!~

When you all going to realise that a good chunk of the economy was designed in this game to revolve around the crafting process of BIS... giving out powerful artifacts that are more powerful than currently crafted items, allowing bis creation through kiln manipulation, allowing crafting of bis without having to use all prismatic mats (through owning the crafting fort for the +5 to gs) and my biggest bane the 3 perk guranteed craft all combine to deflate the economy which will not be fixed by increasing gold handouts in daily activities.... pre expansion the game had much healthier economies (even in the saturated markets as people had had 6-12 months to bis out) and unless they revert these changes it will never recover... I personally will not be spending 8 hours a day doing dailies to get 5-10k or farm for that matter to make that amount of coin... the economic team at AGS are a bunch of dim wits sorry to say and one of them said in a Q & A session said he was really worried about how the changes made in the expansion would impact the economies and at that point he said he was surprised by how stable the economies were and thought he had made the right changes... that developer should be fired as he lacks any awareness of how the game's economy worked for the nearly 2 years prior to the expansion... I was hands down the largest crafter in the game... 100 percent I was and AGS should come talk to people like me if that want to fix the bloody mess they have created... love your stream Jay and your intentions but think its time AGS comes and starts discussing their economy with people like me who knew it inside out and have clear ideas on how to fix it... simple gold creation methods aren't the solution Jay sorry to say.... to give you an example pre expansion I would sell on the daily in peak times during the week 2-4 million coin of sales in a day... and guess what all that coin would go straight back into the economy on my server as I would buy mats etc... for the next round of crafts... this no longer occurs and it is not healthy for the economy... other big crafters would do the same so AGS trying to make it a more level playing field by screwing with the crafting has not worked and made the game far less enjoyable from an economic standpoint and of course numbers are dropping and people are dissatisfied as they are broke... also things like taking away umbral shard selling removed a good way of raising coin for peeps when they used to bis up... now I feel the coin sellers are also selling chromo seals rolls etc... which is further compounding problems for the playerbase as they used to rely on umbral shard selling... is what it is
This game is absolutely whack for any new players starting now. Nothing makes sense and its such a drag to make progress and actually get anything done
