You guys gotta keep this on the downlow but, I played the closed beta for the global release and this was the most fun I had playing a MMO since I started Lost Arc. In lost Arc I didn't play with others much but when I got into a guild in T&L, I felt at home. The Castle Siege was great and I loved it. The Game Look amazing and I tried playing the Korean version after the closed beta ended but couldn't bc of performance and graphics issues. I heard that zerging was a problem in the game months ago but I'm glad to hear that they implemented changes to help that. Can't wait to throw my time into this game more than I did Lost Arc
@@Typical_Slayer Gotta admit that the best way to enjoy to TL is to find some friends to play with or an active guild (even if it’s a casual one) as that’s the main reason I had a blast with this game!

It is pretty much match with my experience of the game on KR. Nice and honest review w/o BS and lies what several other "youtube user" do when they dont even play the game and they go mad when ppls call them out for leaving review on a game they dont even play or what they left after few weeks of playtime half year ago. ;-)

Do you recommend starting as a crossbow dagger directly or starting as a bow, dagga and then make the switch in the endgame when you have the right equipment?
If you want the absolute best results then Bow/Dagger and switch to Xbow/Dagger only if you get Bellandir Xbow (meta might heavily change soon though)

Huh? In Guild Wars 2, you make a character, play the (PvE) tutorial instance that's over in less than five minutes. This gets you to level 2. You then gain one level to get to level 3, which takes mere seconds if you know how. You can then hop into the PvP lobby and never have to leave.
In Guild Wars 1, you could even make a PvP character from the character selection screen, which has all skills available from the get-go.

ToL have the most p2w model ever created they selling a 5 day head start which is absolutely insane for the ones that dunno the whole game evolves arround Guild events to unlock content with and for your guild members perks etc people that have a 5 day head start got a huge advantages over anyone that plays 5 days later any f2p player will have a hard if not impossible time to catch up also do note everything is time gated guild events is all daily and gated so theres n oway u can even catch up...most 5 day head start guild will have a insane powercreep in pvp content so now u either pay for the headstart or get fcked this by far the most fcked up p2w system/model a mmo can give which ofc we are not surprised cause is Ncsoft. so either adjust to it or fall behind GL in ToL
PS: this game is very bot/multibox heavy.
The lock on and stay locked on is TRASH. An the morphing into the eagle was trash too, Mr and many others fell to our deaths trying to morph on PS5..... those are my only 2 gripes. Other than that..... I can wait, I can't fucking waaaaaait to play this again

Do you know there are single player games (majority btw) and RPG genre as whole ? Stop destroying MMO main idea and niche which is cooperation because thats whats going on. This game actually brings nostalgia back (didn t played it tho) because many of modern mmos just try to please everybody and please none in the end.

I didn t tried this game but i see what casuals are doing with other MMO i like. Worst thing is im also casual because life duties but i still hate that aproach to make everything feel disconected in multiplayer game. But i see what you mean now and i also prefer cope with few ppl than massive guilds.

They should do p2w servers seperate and for the normal servers selling only skins.
I heard that one character does everything in the game. All your weapons and skills.
So if I want to start with Greatsword, and put all my points in to Strength, what happens if I change my mind later and then want to try Staff, and have no points into Magic??
you can reset your stats anytime!

No it used to cost Sollant (normal in game currency) but now it costs nothing, in the OBT maybe we will get an older version where we need to use Sollant to reset but on release it will be free.
If we get the older system in the beta, you just need to find any merchant in cities and buy hourglass and that’s it

As of rn there are community discords in which guilds are posting recruitment forms, and as Eclipse we will be running guilds on EU and also on NA West

TnL discord has probably loads of guild recruiting i joined one for last cbt (Royal Vanguard /NAE) and they've been great with me and we had loads fun with guild content and competed for pvp hard. Made siege fun as hell. Can't wait for launch to relive this 🎉
Would it be difficult on switching your weapons from time to time? Like ex. I want to switch from a Greatsword+Dagger to Wand+Staff-is it expensive to reset your stats?
Are all weapons capable on going solo PvE (like leveling) or is it recommended to go have a party (specially for Tanks/Healer mains)
It VERY highly depends!
As of right now on KR version, resetting stats is free (in global beta we MIGHT get an older version and if so, it costs sollant to reset stats which is in game currency)
Mastery is the more tricky one, but lately in KR became a lot easier, however, I am 99% certain global OBT won’t have that but release possibly will (I wouldn’t worry about that either)
The trickiest part is gear, in some instances changing isn’t so hard if it doesn’t require MAJOR changes to your gear, but if you want to change to something that will require you to change your gear DRASTICALLY that’s when it can be really rough unless you plan on spending money to speed that process up (there is a new system coming out for traits though soon that we know nothing of, so hopefully that changes to the better)

Question: what if you’re just in a three person guild? How does the game work for a small guild regarding these massive battles?
you will sadly not be able to compete as 3 man guild, however, if you have a 5-6 man guild for example, you can do your weekly guild bosses and rotate loot between each other (since you can do 7 bosses a week eventually as a guild) and once you are all strong with that loot, you can join a bigger guild!

Only PvP content you can do without being in big guilds is Dominion events (you get put in random factions regardless of guilds) and 3vs3 Arena that they added recently

In your experience, who is better for pvp, the dagger greatsword or the dagger crossbow?
GS/Dagger > Xbow/Dagger in PvP until you own Bellandir Xbow
But Xbow/Dagger is much better in PvE

@@Myg388 There is no average as it all depends on your guild, their performance, and whether they give it to you or someone else. I personally still don't have it cause I passed on it awhile back lol
But as long as you are in a solid guild, and you perform well both individually and as a guild, your guild should be able to acquire it almost weekly when Bellandir becomes available!

Which is the most broken class right now? sword and shield + greatsword? i've heard smth about crossbow + dagger too is that correct?
It depends on your gameplay style and what you want to do. SnS and GS for example in a 1v1 would not be ideal, now for dungeons and ZvZ, you would be the main front line. Now talking about daggers and crossbows, you would be lethal in 1v1s, but not as effective in ZvZ. Any weapon and strategy is viable in this game, just try to look for something that you like and that makes you have fun.
if I am going to be honest, don't even bother much about that as it will be fully changed on the 24th but overall for OBT purposes, the most broken builds will be:
Tanks: SnS/Dagger - SnS/GS (SnS/Wand won't be as it is only good at end game which you won't even see in 5 days in terms of gear)
DPS: Bow/Dagger - Staff/Dagger - GS/Dagger - Xbow/Dagger (In the order mentioned as Xbow/Dagger is only OP with Archboss weapon which maybe 1-2 people across the entire server MAY have)
Healer: Wand/Staff - Wand/Bow - Wand/Dagger
can I ask please , are healers and tanks really needed ? I mean i played lost ark and it felt that there is no real tank class , also supports were really needed for first couple weeks of content then bye bye dps can solo content once they know mechanics , so is it the same with throne and liberty ? are healers and tanks always needed or ? can they do solo content and farm and pvp solo good ?
-- about the p2w , imagine if they only decided to change the monetization and make changes to this lucent that is only available through purchase by real money , imagine how many people would be glad for this decision , but eh these companies never do this , honestly the only company I respect in the matters of p2w is riot games , riot literally make billions over billions just from skins and cosmetics , and from what I see korean developers and designer are even more talented than western ones in term of impressing people with their cosmetics designs , idk why they never use that and push it more to make more money instead of paying for more power
Tanks and Healers are EXTREMELY needed in this game in both PvE (e.g. Dungeons) and in PvP as well, most guilds are always on the hunt for those two roles lol
Regarding the p2w I do agree 100%. These companies sadly want to go for the quick cash even though if they go for longevity they would make so much more!
Also devs need to stop underestimating the power of good cosmetics, players are willing to pay insane prices for good cosmetics as we see with both League of Legends and Valorant for example
ok about this video. It's not an "honest opinion". this is a guide on how to play the game. At the end he states that the game is P2W which is already known to anyone who's interested enough in this topic to watch until the end. You could have put way more effort into this video as one of the very VERY few people who put 1k hours and as a personality on NA's Twitch platform...disappointing at best.

I really hope the console version stay up to date with PC, unlike Black Desert. I tried BD for PS5 and it was the most confusing mess of a game to get into with several things I had no idea what was for what the moment I logged on as a new player.
Also they never updated it to current gen so it was still the ps4 version. Hoping this game goes away from that and more towards Guild Wars.
PC and Console are going to be the same version and crossplay as well so I wouldn't worry about that!

You kinda underplayed how long the f2p and p2w are "even", the gap widens wayyyy sooner than a couple months lol
The lack of skills compared to classic tab target mmos and clear build for future mobile worries me to be honest. I will be giving it a go with all the archeage refugees lol.
The good news is, a new skill system is coming out on the 24th of this month alongside a Runes system and next month Artifacts system all in which should create a lot more variety and options so fingerscrossed!
Hi i have a quetion :D My first question is how well optimized is Black Desert Online? It seems relatively well optimized :D My second question is how easy is it to get skins for characters for free? Or can you only buy them? Because for example in BDO, unfortunately, a skin for a character was incredibly expensive.
Throne's optimization is MUCH better than BDO no comparison even lol
Most skins you can buy with lucent which you can earn by simply playing the game but the ones from bundles like founder pack and such is only with money

In this game there is luckily no such thing as “best” in PvP, there are some broken options currently yes but overall most proper guilds are viable to play

@@Fax-13 not yet but we have a global open beta test on the 18th (in 11 days) and everyone can play on Steam or Console and then global release is 17th of September

No in this game you can PvP during PvP events, or in open world dungeons at night time (I guess that's similar to PK) and recently arenas!

bow/staff you can't go wrong with that, and then for PvP equip a dagger with either bow or with staff whichever you enjoy more and that's it lol
i hate when games doesnt respect player's time and if you take a long break then come back your builds become irrelevant, its just so annoying
I get where you're coming from for sure, but I don't think that will generally always be the case, I think it's the case now only because the WHOLE game is getting reworked as people weren't happy with it
One of the worst feeling combat systems ever. Its clunky, janky, cumbersome and feels like it belongs back in 2001.
This game feels like it was originally intended to be a mobile / gacha game that was redesigned mid way through to be a MMORPG...
The graphics, whilst nice, certainly are not next gen and similar to those of Archeage released in 2013.
I gave it a shot but couldn't get past 6 hours worth of play.. Horrible and bitterly disappointing.. I expect this game to DIE as fast, if not faster, than Bless Online.
