Im not a tournament angler, but i live in Florida. I use the same rod blank for everything flipping and punching related. With heavy 65# to 80# braid and heavy big trees in the phosphate pits. Thats what works.
Pitching rod is a much different affair, its an all around rod , 6'6" to 6'10" moderate fast action using braid, combination skip/pitch rod. Im skipping under overhang branches in phosphate pits or pitching to isolated patches. Im short so thats the reason i use 6'6" skipping rod. Longer rods i slap the water with the rod tip .

As long as you’re using what works for you, that’s all that matters!

Those are some really nice rod choices. I, too, have several different rod types that I like to use for various scenarios - obviously I have a beefy flippin' stick, but I also have a jig rod that I use around grass and thicker vegetation and one I use around rock and wood. They're similar, but they have a few key differences. For example, the heavy grass one is spooled up with 50 lb braid, while the other is spooled with 20 lb fluoro.

It would be nice for you to demonstrate each one of the casting flipping, pitching and punching.

Good ad for Fitzgerald rods. I like their rods. Save $400 buy a 7'6" rod that is rated for 3/8 oz to 1 1/2 oz.

Fastest reel you can get for flipping and punching to gather line, with this much power in a rod sometimes the fish races towards you.
