Great start John! Looking forward to the rest of the series!
Thanks! Hope you enjoy them
Thanks, this very well done and useful, I'm waiting for mine and your videos are great to start with. Bravo
Thanks. I’m glad you have found them useful
Nice piece of kit John.
I'm going to enjoy watching you put it together and putting it through a test.
And who knows you might convince me to give one a go..
Thank you Daniel. It had already proven useful for creating radius sanding blocks. I am mainly hoping to use it for making templates and doing inlay work.
Been waiting for this!! 👍👍
Hope you enjoy it! New video will be going up every day for the next 10 days of the complete build
@@JohnClothier 👍👍👍
Hi John , as a CNC newbie, i went down this route 12 months ago with Workbee 750x 750. Enjoy your journey!
Thanks. They seem like a lot of fun. Only just scratching the surface at the moment lol
Hi, I’m looking forward to this 👍. Do you know yet how you’re going to schedule the videos?
Thanks! New videos will be going up every day for the next 10 days. Hope you enjoy.
@@JohnClothier Cheers.
I was thinking about getting an ooznest recently but the options seem really expensive especially the dust shoe at £165 quid seems way overpriced. Look forward to seeing how you get on with it cheers.
They are great machines and they offer a superb after sales service. This is part of why they are more expensive than some others. The dust shoe appears expensive until you see it. It’s very solid and will last forever. You get what you pay for at times. I’ve played with the cnc a fair bit now and it seems very capable.
@@JohnClothier cheers John I will be interested to see it the other option was to print one up so will keep watching. Cheers
Making a dust shoe is quite straightforward. Lots of people do it. Certainly a cheaper option. Thanks
@@JohnClothier I am hoping to get a cnc on my narrowboat (don’t ask) so will need very good dust extraction. Thanks for the tip will keep watching the series. Cheers.
I thought it was steep but then I saw it. It's incredibly well made and once up and running that money is only about 2+4 hours of runtime on the CNC to pay for itself.
This might make no scene to you John but I hope you have the room to put it in your workshop as looking at your shed from videos it looks like there isnt much room
It was right and I have had to move some things about but it’s in, just! Emptying the dust extractor is going to be a lot more work now lol
What did the system cost?
It varies so much depending on options. The best thing to do is to visit their website and look at the option.
