    I don’t usually add comments on any forum but this video was SOOO helpful that I had to post. I followed the process as outlined and it worked perfectly. I was expecting some level of difficulty (this is the way my DIY luck normally goes 😅). I had no issues whatsoever, it took me 30-40 mins and saved me the price of a new machine. I paid £8 for the part and that was it! The machine is now working leak free. Thanks for taking the time to post this video, it was excellent.

    Excellent video Alex, your instructions are clear, concise and easy to follow. I did my K4 this morning following your video, very straightforward. Definitely the best video on this subject.

    Thanks Alex followed your lead and it was very useful. I couldn’t buy that part number but I searched Amazon for k4 k series elbow pump outlet It cost 7.89 it doesn’t appear to have a o ring but I fitted it anyway and worked a treat!
    Cheers great video. Ps I bought silicon grease from Toolstation. 10 quid.

    I had watched a few videos where, as you quite rightly say, people struggle when they try to take the yellow cover off first. I may have 2 issues with my K4. There's probably air trapped somewhere as the motor won't start when turned on and then when I set it up to run water through to clear the airlock I noticed it had a pretty good leak too.
    I will probably just let my local Karcher dealer fix it as apparently the service charge is $15 plus parts. That service charge was mentioned when I asked about replacing the power switch unit..... which was before I came here for advice :) and realised it was probably air trapped in it.

    When you shut down your pressure washer, turn off the water and remove the hose pipe. Remove the vario lance from the trigger and run machine for 10 seconds to pump out water. This makes you frost protected during winter!!!

    My Kärcher keeps pulsating, I’ve changed the pump head, I have no leaks, but when I rum the water through with garden hose it splutters constantly, I noticed air being sucked through detergent hose, when i put my finger over the detergent hose, the spluttering stops from the jetwash hose, release finger and it’s back to spluttering water again. Is there a stop valve something in the detergent compartment because I can hear air being sucked through? Any advice please.

      @MrPantss  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@sabiya2 yes there is a small ball bearing in the transparent pipe that connects the detergent bottle to the pump, are you sure that has not fallen out? Did you disconnect the little pipe?

      @sabiya2 5 месяцев назад

      @@MrPantss Hi yes I disconnected the white pipe so I could take motor out to replace the pump head, I didn’t see a ball bearing but there is a black thing in the pipe (pump side) like a nipple,

      Well as luck would have I found the tiny plastic ball bearing in the yellow part of the casing, didn’t even it was the tube 😂, that just goes into the tube the pump side?

    • @MrPantss
      @MrPantss  5 месяцев назад

      @@sabiya2 yes that’s it, slot it in the pipe at the motor end of the pipe, that will sort it.

      @@MrPantss Thanks mate, I’ve inserted the plastic ball bearing to motor end and the black nipple in the tube the other end? Water is still spluttering, if I put my finger on the tube the sputtering stops and water flows nicely. It’s seems even with the ball bearing in the tube it’s still cycling or in, sorry it’s my first time trying sort out the washer.
