They’re now chasing trends of other groups that they will never reach and kicking original members out or 10* year members was beyond unnecessary and fucked imo. Why not keep long time members and ogs and rebuild off that? Why keep people like nickmercs and swagg and some others who didn’t build faze up? @@ShadowGaming-xw8zj they had no support, did you forget most of those OG guys got moved into some of the highest cost of living areas in the world? when they were young it was easy man, mommy and daddy kept the lights on and from what we could tell, most of the guys weren't coming from poverty exactly. These guys built something unique too, its a lot easier to hop on stream and hit the hottest trend and make bank if you've already got somewhat of a following, than it is to build an entire community with a cult following, inside of a single game franchise, that is almost more popular than the game franchise itself. That takes funding, dedication, and support.
edit just for reference: at peak faze back in like 2016-17 maybe, they had reached 75m followers across all members/accounts. I get some may be repeats, but thats more than 35x the amount of montly active players COD has nowadays at 2million. active player counts reach around 200,000 in steam for mw3 newest, and BO2 across all platforms had 300,000 players in 2014 (2 years after during AW so shit new cod) so its pretty safe to say the same amount of people play cod, as back then. feel free to correct me but thats just a really rough guess
CoD from what i can find had around 2500 employees working on MW2 2022, its probably lower now bc the gaming/coding industry went thru some cuts after X/twitter did. But just let that sink in.
lets say 1000 employees to supports a game with 2 million monthly players? but a group of 18-24yr olds can support 75m fans with less than 100 employees? Mr beast has around 250 currently.... it just doesnt make sense, no matter the argument. They lost what they had because none of them knew what to do with it, and they didn't get the right answers, and no one supported them that had their best interests in mind. It's just sad that instead of just uploading some montages and trickshots and letting it die in a glorious flame, banks would rather milk it for money with NFTs and gambling so he can live a more expensive life than you ever will.

That whole novel Banks wrote makes no real sense. JEV in his response openly said he doesn't fuck with anyone in the clan and just dpes his own thing. All the OG’s lost it, not including Teeqo, Rain, Blaze & Jev. These guys are the few that have their own style and have things going right. There are many ways they could have gone about this, but throwing creators who put in years for the brand is insanity. Atlanta Faze isn’t solely owned by Faze so they would have to notify the other owner but CDL Faze has been doing well so the other owners wouldn’t just let them drop the team for no reason.
