Think of this (and the previous two albums) as a Broadway show. Sundowning: Act 1 - we’re introduced to Vessel and Sleep. Sleep is “wooing” vessel to spend eternity in this world he/she has created specifically for Vessel. TPWBYT: Act 2 - Vessel has accepted to stay with Sleep, and journeys through the various possibilities for his eternity with Sleep Take me Back To Eden: Act 3 - Vessel sees a “door” for one option that is guarded (The Summoning), and has to convince Sleep to let him see it. Sleep says he cannot see in, unless this is for sure the option he chooses… so he does. What follows is (at first) a world full of love and warmth with a woman who seems familiar, but he grows very attached to. As the album progresses, Vessel gets flashes of who he once was, and begins having to face these demons that he had in real life, all while chasing this woman who feels familiar. It turns at “Are you really Ok.” He recognizes the woman from his real life relationship, watches her self-harm, and can’t fix her, despite an incredible love for her and wanting to. The apparition is her ghost after ultimately succumbing to her own self-harm. We start to learn that Vessel is a normal man, and he went through a traumatic event with the woman he loved. It was toxic, and she needed help (likely mental health concerns), and when she died, he spiraled, and created this world of Sleep and Vessel to fill the void that was now missing. TMBTE the track is him finally deconstructing what’s happening and tearing down Vessel, Sleep, the whole thing. Euclid is a rebirth. A re-awake ing from this depressive funk he has been in, after her death, and finally making peace, and moving on. A new version of himself. That’s my take anyway.
I love that ending, a meta-analysis of creating this art and pushing out this distraction from issues (real or metaphorical) and walking through into self actualization and moving on. That's fucking gold.

You are spot on. The chaotic mix of genres are representing the chaotic mix of thoughts and emotions a human brain goes through in the process of forging relationships. I believe that this album was Vessel getting over a relationship that caused pain. That pain may have initially started by the other person but ultimately he realized the pain was from himself to himself. The interesting thing is that it concludes with him rising above only to start the familiar refrain from the Sundowning album which makes me think the cycle is starting over. Even he understands that it is much harder fight to maintain that growth as a person.
I’m so glad you’ve done this. Front to back listens really adds emphasis on the whole story told. This has surpassed my favourite band even, and being the best album ive heard since Queen. Saw them live last month as well and it’s just as ethereal live as the almost dreamscape you enter with this album/trilogy.

Easily my most anticipated album of the year, this was the big one and it didn’t disappoint in anyway. The six songs they released are all very strong especially Vore, Chokehold, Granite and The Summoning but in my opinion they’re not even the best songs on the album as the six unreleased ones are just next level Sleep Token. I love them all but my top three are Probably the last three Rain, Take Me Back to Eden and Euclid but then Ascensionism, Are You Really Ok? and The Apparition are fantastic as well, I’ve heard this album 8 times now and can honestly say that I haven’t skipped one song. This is without a doubt my album of the year and a masterpiece. I agree with you about what TMBTE is about and the rest of the trilogy(you need to listen to Sundowning and This Place Will Become Your Tomb)Vessel recovering from a traumatic relationship but I feel that the girl was self harming(Are You Really Ok?) and eventually committed suicide leaving Vessel all alone lost in depression. I believe that he found peace when he was asleep so began to think about it as the ancient deity Sleep and in his way begun to worship it, in this album Vessel is finally getting his life back together, able to fight through the depression and ascend to a state where he can feel positive about himself and as a result become someone new. This is of course my opinion, I could be wrong but I feel that Sleep Tokens music is open to interpretation. Worship
@@Jrocka7xI like Aqua Regia but DYWTYLM even though it’s a pretty good song for me is the weakest on the album but it does a good job of being a bridge between the six new songs and a strong ending, it does link up well with the ending of The Apparition with the electronic elements.
If that's the case, then that colors the meaning to so many tracks--Blood Sport, Levitate, The Apparition, etc. Even makes sense of his wedding ring in The Love You Want, and the meaning of the video.
@@JakeStuder Bloodsport in particular seems to be a very personal song to Vessel, which explains the tears at the end of the live version he did by himself at Lafayette. The song and the video of ‘The Way That You Were’ seem to be about him remembering somebody that he has lost and of course the girl disappears at the end of the video as if she wasn’t really there. We’ll probably never know the truth but I feel that Vessel has been channeling his grief through his music and that explains why many of us feel such an emotional connection to the songs.
I absolotely love "Rain", it is the one I can't stop listening. I think the lyrics just hit home somehow. I can't name my favorite, cause this album is my favorite everything haha, but it's definitely a song I'd choose over and over.
I had my ears cleaned yesterday because of some major hearing problems, half an hour of absolute torture. In the end it was worth it, to clearly hear this gem of an album.
Also, dude, the moment in Aqua Regia where you were talking about it being coffee shop music, there is literally a sample in the background of busy cafe sounds.. lol
This is why I love music so much. The way you interpreted this album was almost the same way I did. The only thing is, the way YOU interpreted this album is exactly what I’m going through now and have been for about a year now. The music people create will relate to others, and those people become the fans and supporters. It’s all about building a community, not being famous. These guys are incredibly talented and motivate me to keep making music. They’re doing what they were put on this planet to do and I’m so glad they found each other and and I’m ready for the next album!
The attention to detail in the whole album is insane... right down to the opening of euclid as he says "give me five whole minutes" with 5 minutes to go in the album.
My favourite track on this album, Rain, is not "filler," Alex! 😭 Take it back! 😂 Big love. Enjoyed sitting down and jamming the album with you. I'm for sure certain that the band, or at least Vessel, went/go to church and performed there; there's so much Christian-sound in their songs and his singing style and a drummer reaction channel has also commented on some of the drummer's fills and style being associated with church band drummers too. 🤔
DAMN STRAIGHT 9.0 FOR ASCENSIONISM!! When you changed it to an 8.7 I was like just wait! Just wait! As soon as that "you make me want to disappear" part kicked in I knew you were gonna change it again! Lmao great shit!
There are many callbacks to their other previous songs in this album and specifically in euclid, which is showing that it marks the end of the trilogy of their 3 albums. The line "This night belongs to you," in euclid is referencing their first song called This Night Does Not Belong To God on their first album Sundowning and the whole verse beginning with "the whites of your eyes," is the 2nd verse of that song. Also, "This bough has broken through" is a callback to one of their first songs from their first EP titled 'One'. These are just a few of the references/callbacks in this album, and it's really quite fascinating how many there are.

Perfect way to put it there at the end. This was not just a music album from a band, this was ART. A journey, the album takes you through so many emotions. I can't remember the last time an album drove my mood in such a perfect way. It's just incredible.
What I appreciate is that everything is about energy levels and emotion. You’re built up then it backs off and makes the slow, mellow and deeper songs resonate more as you’re so used to overstimulation that the stripped back sound focused you in. DYWTYLM and Are you really okay? Resonated CONSIDERABLY more listening as a whole album and I feel like the more you listen the more taxed you can feel emotionally and those songs only grow on you as you re-listen because of it.
Those lines in TMBTE always make me bow my head and just I don't know the words...the impact hits so hard. Especially the past year being so difficult personally, hearing the lines "somethings got its teeth in me and I'm about to bite back in anger"...like nothing has been able to describe the hell that was the last few years and those lines have finally put it in to view and it fucking hurts...
I really love the way you talk about lyrics and your interpretation of them, its what sets you apart from a lot of music reviewers and its refreshing to get someone else's insight on what they think a song is trying to portray
Tbh, when I first heard DYWTYLM i felt underwhelmed, but since its release as a single, it honestly has grown immensely on me. I hope it does for you too.
For me, it was when I realised the whole song was him singing to himself in the mirror that the song just stuck a chord with me and I've loved it ever since.
I read it somewhere else to be fair and then listened back to the song and it all suddenly just clicked. The part at the end where he's singing "smile back at me please"..... Damn.
Euclid is easily my favorite off the album. Been a fan of sleep token since 2019. The call backs to Sundowning and TPWBYT and even ONE. It feels like a tribute to the fans, and how you start the trilogy the same way you end it is just 🤌🤌 I cant think of a better way to end it. It almost feels like a send off for the current vessel, and sleep token will come back slightly different then they are now. 1000/10
The whole album was great! I'm relatively new to this band and I'm glad I've found him. What an amazing and soothing voice. This album for me imo, is definitely going to be on repeat.
I can honestly say i haven't bought a tangible piece of music until this album dropped. I've kinda lost my faith in music until i heard this collective. I love MUSIC.. if it touches me,i don't need to know it's label of genre. ❤ let's not get started on a vocalist that DEMANDS attention. And yes this album was a glimse in his sharing the human condition, and i will forever thank him. Solidarity through music.
this is truly just something so different yet so familiar, they're pulling from so many genre's we've loved at somepoint or another, rock, metal, jazz, funk...you name it, its there and they've got it working so damn smoothly.. its romantic, its traumatic, its get down and dirty with your love and whoever else...you can lay in the pitch black, headphones on staring at the moon and itll get you feeling. can't wait to see where they go next, this is the album that puts them into the spotlight

This reaction wmtook me by suprise and i enjoyed every minute of it. I highly encourage you to react to some more songs (or whole albums) of Sleep Token. They dont have a bad song IMO and i will be here for it!
Of all music review videos, this is my favorite. The exploration of each song, the appreciation for all the genres, the analysis of the lyrics. This has blown all others out of the water. No over explanations, just a genuine review of an album. Even brought me around to appreciate some of the song on the albums I had previously classified as "skips." And now it's like a Coheed & Cambria album, I can't listen to it out of order anymore.
The album is by far the best example of post- genre music done successfully. They take what each genre does best and create a wide whinding musical journey with it. They are definitely rooted in metal, but the reach of their musical branches are endless. Absurdly talented musicians that are open minded. I love it and imo, no song is below a 9 on this album out of 10

I only made it half way through the video the first time because I needed to just go dive into them myself after loving it so much. But I came back to finish your reaction and thoughts and loved every moment of it. You're fucking amazing bro! Also I almost fully agree with the ratings. The Summoning is number 1 for sure! Vore actually grew on me quite a bit but it's on the bottom, so I still agree with that, but it's still more than a filler song for me. DYWTYLM hits for me a little better than it did for you because I actually really enjoy the slowness and lack of beats in that one compared to the rest of the album. Rain would be at least an 8 for me. The beginning just pulls me in... I think I also relate to "Just a stoic statue, fit for nobody"... and then he talks about rain as the beat comes in and the imagery makes me feel like I'm getting rained on in a beautiful way. (Must say your analogy about Marvel movies was spot on for it tho! lol)
This entire album is absolute fire. If music doesn't make you feel as if you are being transported into a different world is it even worth listening to? Its an entire outer body experience
I rarely listen to lyrics and I tend to appreciate musicianship first. That said, not only is this album a masterpiece musically, the lyrics are so powerful and relatable that it might be the only album that damn near moves me to tears. Hands down, one of my all-time favorite albums. That was an awesome journey.
Thank you for making this video! As a long time Sleep Token fan I have to admit I was a little unsure about some of the tracks on first listen. I think I was so blown away by the tracks they released early that I wasn't prepared to listen to the album as a whole, my expectations were mismatched. But listening to the album again in it's entirety has given me newfound appreciation for the cohesion and the storytelling behind each song and the album as a whole. Thanks again!

The strange thing I've found is that Aqua and DYWTYLM, although I like both of them, they're probably lower on the list of tracks I've had on repeat since the album dropped. BUT they're also the two melodies that I find myself unconsciously humming or singing to myself.
Sleep token is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're gonna get with them also I loved this album and I hope they get nominated for a grammy. This album is breathtaking. I absolutely loved Euclid and got so emotional. As someone who has followed ST from the beginning, it really hit me hard hearing old songs mixed with this new album. I am so proud of them and how far they have come 🥺
I hoped you'd do the whole album. I thought I already had my favourites but I think I've changed my mind another 4 or 5 times since the full thing dropped. There are parts of every song that are just simply magical and take me somewhere different. Sleep Token have me hook, line and sinker.
I'd say my top 5 are (in order): Chokehold, Granite, Ascensionism, The Summoning, and Take me Back to Eden So many bangers on this album though. It carries a lot of meaning and emotions that people can, in one way or another, relate to. Musically, vocally, and lyrically, this album will be one that's referenced for a while.
This whole album is just like a movie and I feel like the songs just get better and better for every time I listen to them. Also the lyrics in every song are so well thought through and I feel like they (as you said) really make you feel like your going through it/feeling the same emotions as Vessel.

18:37 the almost monologue-style narration landing right on that legendary piano bridge is so perfect and satisfying it’s almost like spoken word, what I like to call, “jazz rapping” where the words are usually just talking and SOMETIMES the cadence fills a pocket on the beat, usually jazz or jazz style tracks, in the back ground. Anyone know what that style is? Or what’s that called in music terms?
This entire album has changed my world. 2023 was a really rough fucking year & I discovered this band after going through some really traumatic shit. It has been sooo healing listening & relating to EVERY SINGLE LYRIC and for them to mix all of my favorite genres?!?!?! I’m blown away by Sleep Token & I’ve now devoured their entire discography!! They don’t have a bad song in sight. They are EASILY my favorite band! It’s definitely interesting to see how many interpretations this album has. Even with an overarching theme, each song is its own entity outside of that, which is an incredible thing to pull off. Plus all the callbacks, show how talented this band is. Personally, I saw the overarching theme as the progression through a toxic relationship that culminated in one person ending themselves. We hear and feel the journey of the partner that survived. Truly my favorite album of the year so far, and one I really needed right now. Thank you for reviewing it!

For me Euclid just fucking HITS YOU, i bawled the first time i heard it in my headphones, i felt so vulnerable and completely surrounded by this AMAZING song. The callbacks to their older song's hits fucking different. I've been in love with the lyrics "We tangle endlessly, Like lovers entwined" Since TNDNBTG. I want it tattooed

I feel this album is vessel performing shadow work which in heathenry we journey inward to discover the things causing our depression and pain. We come to the conclusion at the end of our journey in shadow work that the parts of ourselves that we keep buried deep down make us who we are today and we accept those parts or “the shadow self” as part of us and it really does put you in a way better place. WORSHIP!

Love your reaction man! The second I saw that you posted your album reaction to this I was absolutely shocked. Clicked on it fast! Take me back to Eden the song and Euclid brought me to tears on the first listen and still do. This whole album I have goosebumps throughout. Words can't even describe how deeply this album has touched my soul and how relatable it is. The ending of Euclid makes me think of all these bittersweet goodbyes I've had in my life with different people whether or not they were romantically involved and so it's a lot to take in. Well fucking done sleep token! This album has made me a huge fan! Would absolutely die to see them someday in concert. Thanks for your awesome reaction Alex! Love the full album review for Sleep Token. This album was the last of a trilogy. Crazy to think the whole thing was planned from the beginning of Sundowning (the first album). Now connect the dots. First part, first song, first album. Last part, last song, last album. Put the 2 together. I promise you’ll love it.
I just finished listening to this a few hours ago, and have recently listened to their other two albums. Holy shit there's some amazing stuff on there. Some genuinely sad emotional songs, mixed with some really heavy songs. Amazing artists.
Just wanted to point something out that might not have been mentioned. Just wanted to say this after your comment during this song: aqua regia, mixture of concentrated nitric and hydrochloric acids, usually one part of the former to three parts of the latter by volume. This mixture was given its name (“royal water”) by alchemists because of its ability to dissolve gold. It is a red or yellowish liquid.

Personally I put Vore as one of the top songs in this album, to me the anger and desperation in the melody and vocal SOOO delicioius

The six songs they released are all very strong especially Vore, Chokehold, Granite and The Summoning but in my opinion they’re not even the best songs on the album as the six unreleased ones are just next level Sleep Token. I love them all but my top three are Probably the last three Rain, Take Me Back to Eden and Euclid but then Ascensionism, Are You Really Ok? and The Apparition are fantastic as well, I’ve heard this album 8 times now and can honestly say that I haven’t skipped one song.
This is without a doubt my album of the year and a masterpiece.
I agree with you about what TMBTE is about and the rest of the trilogy(you need to listen to Sundowning and This Place Will Become Your Tomb)Vessel recovering from a traumatic relationship but I feel that the girl was self harming(Are You Really Ok?) and eventually committed suicide leaving Vessel all alone lost in depression. I believe that he found peace when he was asleep so began to think about it as the ancient deity Sleep and in his way begun to worship it, in this album Vessel is finally getting his life back together, able to fight through the depression and ascend to a state where he can feel positive about himself and as a result become someone new. This is of course my opinion, I could be wrong but I feel that Sleep Tokens music is open to interpretation. Worship

@@Jrocka7xI like Aqua Regia but DYWTYLM even though it’s a pretty good song for me is the weakest on the album but it does a good job of being a bridge between the six new songs and a strong ending, it does link up well with the ending of The Apparition with the electronic elements.
If that's the case, then that colors the meaning to so many tracks--Blood Sport, Levitate, The Apparition, etc. Even makes sense of his wedding ring in The Love You Want, and the meaning of the video.
@@JakeStuder Bloodsport in particular seems to be a very personal song to Vessel, which explains the tears at the end of the live version he did by himself at Lafayette. The song and the video of ‘The Way That You Were’ seem to be about him remembering somebody that he has lost and of course the girl disappears at the end of the video as if she wasn’t really there. We’ll probably never know the truth but I feel that Vessel has been channeling his grief through his music and that explains why many of us feel such an emotional connection to the songs.
I absolotely love "Rain", it is the one I can't stop listening. I think the lyrics just hit home somehow. I can't name my favorite, cause this album is my favorite everything haha, but it's definitely a song I'd choose over and over.
The changing of ratings throughout Ascensionism was literally my exact reaction in the car when I heard the album for the first time 😂
Now we need a Sundowning album reaction! Sundowning starts with that melody, and TMBTE ends with that melody. Love it

Vore is such a sad song especially when you connect the dots with Are You Really Okay, The Apparition, The Summoning, and Take Me Back To Eden
This is why I love music so much. The way you interpreted this album was almost the same way I did. The only thing is, the way YOU interpreted this album is exactly what I’m going through now and have been for about a year now. The music people create will relate to others, and those people become the fans and supporters. It’s all about building a community, not being famous. These guys are incredibly talented and motivate me to keep making music. They’re doing what they were put on this planet to do and I’m so glad they found each other and and I’m ready for the next album!
The attention to detail in the whole album is insane... right down to the opening of euclid as he says "give me five whole minutes" with 5 minutes to go in the album.
My favourite track on this album, Rain, is not "filler," Alex! 😭 Take it back! 😂 Big love. Enjoyed sitting down and jamming the album with you.
I'm for sure certain that the band, or at least Vessel, went/go to church and performed there; there's so much Christian-sound in their songs and his singing style and a drummer reaction channel has also commented on some of the drummer's fills and style being associated with church band drummers too. 🤔

DAMN STRAIGHT 9.0 FOR ASCENSIONISM!! When you changed it to an 8.7 I was like just wait! Just wait! As soon as that "you make me want to disappear" part kicked in I knew you were gonna change it again! Lmao great shit!
There are many callbacks to their other previous songs in this album and specifically in euclid, which is showing that it marks the end of the trilogy of their 3 albums. The line "This night belongs to you," in euclid is referencing their first song called This Night Does Not Belong To God on their first album Sundowning and the whole verse beginning with "the whites of your eyes," is the 2nd verse of that song. Also, "This bough has broken through" is a callback to one of their first songs from their first EP titled 'One'. These are just a few of the references/callbacks in this album, and it's really quite fascinating how many there are.

Perfect way to put it there at the end. This was not just a music album from a band, this was ART. A journey, the album takes you through so many emotions. I can't remember the last time an album drove my mood in such a perfect way. It's just incredible.
What I appreciate is that everything is about energy levels and emotion. You’re built up then it backs off and makes the slow, mellow and deeper songs resonate more as you’re so used to overstimulation that the stripped back sound focused you in.
DYWTYLM and Are you really okay? Resonated CONSIDERABLY more listening as a whole album and I feel like the more you listen the more taxed you can feel emotionally and those songs only grow on you as you re-listen because of it.

Those lines in TMBTE always make me bow my head and just I don't know the words...the impact hits so hard. Especially the past year being so difficult personally, hearing the lines "somethings got its teeth in me and I'm about to bite back in anger"...like nothing has been able to describe the hell that was the last few years and those lines have finally put it in to view and it fucking hurts...

I really love the way you talk about lyrics and your interpretation of them, its what sets you apart from a lot of music reviewers and its refreshing to get someone else's insight on what they think a song is trying to portray
Tbh, when I first heard DYWTYLM i felt underwhelmed, but since its release as a single, it honestly has grown immensely on me. I hope it does for you too.
For me, it was when I realised the whole song was him singing to himself in the mirror that the song just stuck a chord with me and I've loved it ever since.

Euclid is easily my favorite off the album. Been a fan of sleep token since 2019. The call backs to Sundowning and TPWBYT and even ONE. It feels like a tribute to the fans, and how you start the trilogy the same way you end it is just 🤌🤌 I cant think of a better way to end it. It almost feels like a send off for the current vessel, and sleep token will come back slightly different then they are now. 1000/10

this is truly just something so different yet so familiar, they're pulling from so many genre's we've loved at somepoint or another, rock, metal, jazz, funk...you name it, its there and they've got it working so damn smoothly..

Of all music review videos, this is my favorite. The exploration of each song, the appreciation for all the genres, the analysis of the lyrics. This has blown all others out of the water. No over explanations, just a genuine review of an album. Even brought me around to appreciate some of the song on the albums I had previously classified as "skips." And now it's like a Coheed & Cambria album, I can't listen to it out of order anymore.
A friend of mine linked me to Take Me Back to Eden and I told him that it sounded like Coheed & Cambria, but more cerebral.
The album is by far the best example of post- genre music done successfully. They take what each genre does best and create a wide whinding musical journey with it. They are definitely rooted in metal, but the reach of their musical branches are endless. Absurdly talented musicians that are open minded. I love it and imo, no song is below a 9 on this album out of 10
Bringing up the uniqueness of every individual and reminding us to love who we are was freaking amazing. Thank you for that man. Also... You showed me this band when this video dropped and I am also so grateful for that as well. I only made it half way through the video the first time because I needed to just go dive into them myself after loving it so much. Vore actually grew on me quite a bit but it's on the bottom, so I still agree with that, but it's still more than a filler song for me.
DYWTYLM hits for me a little better than it did for you because I actually really enjoy the slowness and lack of beats in that one compared to the rest of the album.
Rain would be at least an 8 for me. The beginning just pulls me in... I think I also relate to "Just a stoic statue, fit for nobody"... and then he talks about rain as the beat comes in and the imagery makes me feel like I'm getting rained on in a beautiful way. (Must say your analogy about Marvel movies was spot on for it tho! lol)
The second verse of

This entire album is absolute fire. If music doesn't make you feel as if you are being transported into a different world is it even worth listening to? Its an entire outer body experience
I rarely listen to lyrics and I tend to appreciate musicianship first. That said, not only is this album a masterpiece musically, the lyrics are so powerful and relatable that it might be the only album that damn near moves me to tears. Hands down, one of my all-time favorite albums. That was an awesome journey.

Thank you for making this video! As a long time Sleep Token fan I have to admit I was a little unsure about some of the tracks on first listen. I think I was so blown away by the tracks they released early that I wasn't prepared to listen to the album as a whole, my expectations were mismatched. But listening to the album again in it's entirety has given me newfound appreciation for the cohesion and the storytelling behind each song and the album as a whole. Thanks again!

I’ve been listening to them since sundowning came out, and it’s always so, so cool to hear not only what they’re coming up with next, but the callbacks to their past songs. It’s always soooo well done
The strange thing I've found is that Aqua and DYWTYLM, although I like both of them, they're probably lower on the list of tracks I've had on repeat since the album dropped. BUT they're also the two melodies that I find myself unconsciously humming or singing to myself.
Sleep token is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're gonna get with them also I loved this album and I hope they get nominated for a grammy.

So many bangers on this album though. It carries a lot of meaning and emotions that people can, in one way or another, relate to. Musically, vocally, and lyrically, this album will be one that's referenced for a while.
This whole album is just like a movie and I feel like the songs just get better and better for every time I listen to them. Also the lyrics in every song are so well thought through and I feel like they (as you said) really make you feel like your going through it/feeling the same emotions as Vessel.
I love Euclid at the end! I really hope they keep making new music since they finished their story

18:37 the almost monologue-style narration landing right on that legendary piano bridge is so perfect and satisfying it’s almost like spoken word, what I like to call, “jazz rapping” where the words are usually just talking and SOMETIMES the cadence fills a pocket on the beat, usually jazz or jazz style tracks, in the back ground. Anyone know what that style is? Or what’s that called in music terms?

This entire album has changed my world. 2023 was a really rough fucking year & I discovered this band after going through some really traumatic shit. It has been sooo healing listening & relating to EVERY SINGLE LYRIC and for them to mix all of my favorite genres?!?!?! I’m blown away by Sleep Token & I’ve now devoured their entire discography!! They don’t have a bad song in sight. They are EASILY my favorite band! WORSHIP 💖

It’s definitely interesting to see how many interpretations this album has. Even with an overarching theme, each song is its own entity outside of that, which is an incredible thing to pull off. Plus all the callbacks, show how talented this band is. Personally, I saw the overarching theme as the progression through a toxic relationship that culminated in one person ending themselves. We hear and feel the journey of the partner that survived.
Truly my favorite album of the year so far, and one I really needed right now. Thank you for reviewing it!

For me Euclid just fucking HITS YOU, i bawled the first time i heard it in my headphones, i felt so vulnerable and completely surrounded by this AMAZING song. I feel this album is vessel performing shadow work which in heathenry we journey inward to discover the things causing our depression and pain. We come to the conclusion at the end of our journey in shadow work that the parts of ourselves that we keep buried deep down make us who we are today and we accept those parts or “the shadow self” as part of us and it really does put you in a way better place. WORSHIP!

Love your reaction man! The second I saw that you posted your album reaction to this I was absolutely shocked. Clicked on it fast! Take me back to Eden the song and Euclid brought me to tears on the first listen and still do. This whole album I have goosebumps throughout. Words can't even describe how deeply this album has touched my soul and how relatable it is. The ending of Euclid makes me think of all these bittersweet goodbyes I've had in my life with different people whether or not they were romantically involved and so it's a lot to take in. aqua regia, mixture of concentrated nitric and hydrochloric acids, usually one part of the former to three parts of the latter by volume. This mixture was given its name (“royal water”) by alchemists because of its ability to dissolve gold. It is a red or yellowish liquid.
