Only saw this as a replay, but truly hope you get to investigate your Scan & Cut and its huge powers. Also the the Brother Canvas Workspace software is FREE, both an on line version and a downloadable version. This was a fabulous demo and i know i will use the techniques a lot in the future. Thanks much for sharing
Yes! I have it less than a year and have loved everything I have created with it. I know there is so much to explore with it and look forward to learning as much as I can. Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching!
In Embrilliance, you can add a knockdown, then in SA change the KNOCKDOWN TO s applique. That will give you a placement line for the offset and you can create the cut fike from there.
Print out the template and mark the item like I did. Then hoop your item and iron on the felt while your item is hooped. Make sure when you load the hoop to your machine that you have the center at the exact spot. The other option is to lay down a large piece of felt and then stitch out the word and hand trim around the letters.
Thanks for the video. So I woild need to buy a Silhouette designers scanner? To complete this? Or printer? What is it called. Would I have to buy software for the printer too?
Any cutting machine will cut the design: Brother Scan n Cut, Silhouette Cameo, Cricut, etc. The software I used to create the offset design was the Silhouette Designer Plus edition to be able to bring in the PES file.
I think you are able to print using the free version of Embrilliance. But you can only use the BX format in the software to save a design. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the info! I know this can be done in Embrilliance however I do not have that level of the software. Thanks so much for watching!

Hello Dawn, from your neighbor in Suffolk
Hello @michellewoods814! Thanks for watching!
Good evening from from PA
Stitch artist level two as per Becky Thompson
I have a Brother NQ1600e so I don’t think I could get the font to line up on the offset felt fabric word.

Really nice!
Thanks! So fun to make too!

Here is the link to purchase the HTV: www.shop.dzgns.com/search?type=product&q=htv*?p=rJKLcE75c
?You have to have software to print out the template correct?
Does the free Embrilliance let you print it? Thank you.

Hi I’m curious if the font has a placement stitch similar to appliqué? If it does can you do a placement stick first then add the felt?
There is no placement stitch for the outline. It is created as a cutting SVG file in Silhouette software
Congrats on #10!

Will a cricut work?
You can cut the file on the cricut but I don't think you can bring in an embroidery design into design space.
