Think about it this way guys: We got to experience an amazing racing game that most people will never get to. At least it didn’t live long enough to become bastardized. There’s still value to going back and playing it. Dub Edition 3 was the perfect “Car” game, at least in my opinion.

What made midnight club games different is not the street racer vide or the customisation but the challenge . The pinkslips, the champion races. It let you choose your way to victory and not stopping you by some invisible wall.

I'll never forget the time that I lost my Mitsubishi eclipse in a pink slip race against lester to win his Mazda rx8 because my little brother stepped on the plug wire and the console shut off and I lost my car during the race but luckily I had a backup car which was the 64 impala and I restarted the race again but this time I turned off auto save incase it happens again then I beat him and won the car back but then I forgot I still had to beat him again in order to win his car to progress into the story 😂

Besides Gran Turismo and Forza (both versions), Midnight Club has always been one of my favorite game franchises. I hope they bring it back along with the next installment of GTA.

Midnight club LA is better than any Forza game, The customizations were waaaay better and more in-depth.
And they have cops! Don’t get me wrong forza is still a good franchise... Although I wish they went back to the U.S, FH1 was my first and favorite forza game. The rest was all European crap, small roads and boring landscapes 😕

They died because its cheaper and easier to make DLC for a 10 year old game than actually take effort and creativity to give us something remotely new.
Midnight club 3 dub edition remix for PS2 was the best game as far as I'm concerned with the wide spread of detail an tuining as well as visiting toyko as an add on made things interesting

What a shame that Rockstar only cares about sell Sharkcards now... They weren't just GTA, they were more than that... And they had one of the best streets racing game with probably one of the best tuning systems up to this day.

Paulo once you get past the single player campaign, RDR Online is basically rockstar trying to sell sharkcards hard. A lot of people weren’t happy with that 😖
@@PauloR2T RDR2 was definitely a good surprise for me but you saw how they promoted the Online at soon it came out. I have friends playing the Online and they told me how the economy system is made to make you spend real money to get stuff you want. Something that I can understand in a free to play MMO but not in a Triple AAA game of 70 bucks

i remember driving a red second generation fully upgraded and customized Escalade with e$calade written on its doors listening to Real Talk 123, Jump on it,ghetto,fabulous and some other music felt like a real gangster driving a caddy like a boss in Detroit,San Diego and Atlanta's Streets.
I guess we all grew up to play those songs in our MNC inspired cars..... my very first car was a Mitsubishi eclipse '00 GTS and upgraded the shift out of it (remove the f from shift)..... and yeah, Manny fresh is a must on every car ever since 👍
