It looks overwhelming for myself. I don’t have much computer knowledge like yourself. With proper training it would be less daunting. Thanks for sharing 🍻
Thank you for your comment. Just like anything, it is a matter of getting used to how it operates. Once you figure it out, you are better able to handle repairs and upgrades.
Thank you for this informative walk-through of your configuration change. Apologies if I missed a point in this video or one of your previous ones: why two N2K networks red/blue to begin with, is this for redundancy, capacity, or maybe because of a requirement in the physical wiring topology?
Thank you for your question. It is mostly for redundancy. Each N2K network has its own instruments (GPS and Heading Sensor) along with a dedicated computer and Autopilot. This way if anyone thing fails, I have complete redundancy. In addition, It allows me to have the two autopilots on and running without having them confused being on the same network. This allows for a faster changeover in the event one autopilot has an issue in a dangerous area.

Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for sharing. Does the N@K network only communicate with I pads or will it work with Android too?
Thank you for your question. N2K Mobile will work on both iOS and Android phones and tablets.
