This guy would've definitely got an investment if he had pitched this today!
Well they do have loos like that now don't they
No, he wouldn't. Even Debra would be too put off by him to invest.
"It took a while for the penny to drop, but I know it did because I took a little glance"
😂
It seems like a good idea, for a consumer to save 47% on your water usage that’s a big chunk of money, surely?
ye but the multi millionaires dont want to LoOk in ThE toIlEt therefore it must be a horrendously bad idea
...When you try and browbeat people into siding with your cause, this is usually how it goes. Sadly you end up just doing a disservice to your cause because you put people so off to it.
2:30 I had to replay that so many times. I was not expecting him to swear😆😆 Had me in stitches
Its not a swear word here, its the use of a proper noun.
Bunch of immature bullies with money
If he had pitched it from a point of view of the public saving money on their bills , then that might have helped. Most people wont think twice about the environment but they do care about the money or lack of in their wallets. Selling to the public might get somewhere but not to water companies .
Exactly. Finally someone who gets it.
A more eco-behaviour: "If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down"... 1 in 4 is a good ratio! LOL
7:55 He has every right, it's a free country. So what right do you have Doug?
Doug is a riot. “ I’m glad you’re proud of it…” lmfaooooo 😂😂😂
I’ve never met a humble Yorkshireman lol
Really? I think Yorkshire folk are some of the nicest, most humble people going!
They are tight though haha
Humble? he's far from being humble, he's on the opposite side of the spectrum
Nasty people
They have to tell you that they’re from Yorkshire like 80 times, these types of people.....
Josh Rooke77 that’s sort of my point..... lol
This guy is probably blocking a motorway rn
Dragons cant take it when someone talks to them like how the dragons talk.
Well, he wants their money
@@reasonablyserious and they want him to make them money so why be so rude?
While environmentalist products are good, we must focus on policies that ensure resources are sustainable and big companies and capitalists do not make things worse.
Environmentalist products are bad, and we must focus on policies and resources that increase energy and qualify life, and ensure climate alarmists and Gaia cultists do not make things worse.
Dragons are awful here. They don't give a damn, they flush swimming pools every weekend!
doug richard was a weird casting choice.
Would love to hear from people like this now and see if they regret their attitude and manner of their pitch
If Deborah was here, she'd have DESTROYED the rest of the Dragons.
Sometimes, it's not what you say it's the way you say it.
Nobody would enjoy working with that guy. No matter how good his product might be.
There is already a half flush and full flush system. You can change the cistern levels if you know how to do it. I can see where he is coming from but the price is massive compared to double auto flush costing about a fiver. Keep the ideas coming though guys.
This was from 2006 before dual flush toilets were around, but do keep the comments coming 😅
@@brentea65 Dual flush toilets have been available since at least the late 80s. This was a redundant product from the start
@@brentea65 You should probably check up on your facts before you start being snarky.
@@brentea65 dual flush has been around since the 80s and standard since the 90s.
Peter, swearing? My god
imagine turning up for investment but presenting like you dont want to be there and the investors are causing you an inconvenicence. Literally presenting like he doesn't want to be there and telling them off.
I feel bad for the bloke, he got chewed up lol
and spat out
Most ppl hate eco warriors. This guy would not be a good investment even if the product was good. However a Dragon could have bought him out at 100% and market it. Patent the concept and rake in the cash.
@Induxvideos You want to see how well a man who is clearly now well in retirement age is doing? Jeez
A lot of it was his fault though.
What an aggressive little creep.
Where I live in South Africa the dams are about 17% full on average...because people are wasting water!
This man is my hero
And the Gov. are incompetent...
Must admit I always watch to see if it clears, because sometimes Big Toilet doesn't clear if you've done a Big Poo. Peter's the kind who leaves a brown trout behind for the next user.
At least the guy wanted to help the planet 🌍
They should do an episode where credible ideas that were rejected get another chance
They dont need to, people are allowed to bring their inventions back on the show if they had an audition, you dont only get one shot and then your banned
This is a great idea I hate how they talked down to him. Everyone potties.
Because he’s clearly got a chip on both shoulders
Ugh, the word "potties" is one of the most abhorrent phrases. Nah, nobody "potties" after being toilet trained as a toddler.
"What's more important to you? Making money or saving the planet from destruction? Because I don't really.. Care... About that 'ee-arth' thing. Just money."
Best moment ever when Peter went over the numbers again and he just shruggs him off
Often Duncan has the best facial expressions on the show.
.he’s thinking about his next Wife
It's a brilliant product! Can't believe the Dragons reacted so childishly
..Though I admit David could have been a bit more chill in trying to convince them
It’s a sad case of right product, wrong entrepreneur. No matter how good something is, if the person using it is like him, then it will always fail
You cant believe it? Just watch more episodes. They react childishly, egotistically and offended in about 80% of the episodes.
