Not Royal Skyline it’s to protect the lip during shipping but once you start driving it, the guard picks up rocks and dirt which rubs in the lip and ruins it
it's kinda funny to think about how 10 years ago the 6.1 hemi that made 425 crank horse power was the mopar engine. now they're making almost twice as much power.... that's kinda crazy
They made that much back then and many years before. You just had to go down the road from the dealership to the aftermarket to by the add ons. Most super cars turn out 700/800/900 hp today. 10 years ago they were turning out 450/500. It was the norm. Beside. You can only have so many HP under the hood before it becomes very unstreetable. You can build a car with this much power alot cheaper using a used cheaper car. But what are they really buying? The label.
I recently smoked an SRT (very) hard on the highway in my 2003 Mach 1. They're not that fast. I don't see the point of trying to make a fast SUV anyway. I mean, either get a muscle car or get something to go off-roading in.
@@SilentMovements305 a little over 500 to the wheels. Problem with the Jeep is that weight. I make like 120 HP more and weigh 1600 pounds less. We roll raced, not a dig. I don't think it would have mattered much though.
I think for the "common car guy" these represent the absolute best of what you can buy from the factory... I mean this thing has it all right? Killer looks, absurd performance, all the modern day comforts and amenities you could ever need, all wrapped up in one reasonably and realistically priced package. I commend Dodge for having the balls the make the ballsiest cars they can, especially in today's market of crossover SUV's and turbo 4 bangers.

The Regular HC easily smokes the ZL1 and the Demon was capable of smoking supercars, it out ran a Lambo Huracan on Top Gear with the drag kit installed. Plus way more daily derivable than a Camaro, you can actually fit adults in the back seats and see out of the car, and they have a huge trunk too.

I work for LaFontaine's dealer development company here in the northern US and we have quite a few redeyes lying around some Detroit/Flint area dealers. A blue and a white in particular just like this one at our biggest store. They are nice
The yellow lip protection 1. Looks cool. 2. Will be a collectable and wanted part of the car in 50 years. 3. Is perfect for protecting the expensive real lip on your car. So I'd personally keep it on.
Jokes on you, the protector actually damages the splitter when left on. It does not protect it. It is used to protect it while being shipped (loaded and unloaded from trucks). If it’s left on while driving around, dirt and rocks get under the protector and scratch the splitter pretty badly over time.

Because people would buy accessories than buying a car. So people think that yellow protector as accessory. And people will sell their brand new car in the next 3 years so price is higher when you have all of the correct accessories. Me? I'm a weirdo so I'm not like that.
I always look for the Hellcat or Demon badge on the side of the Challengers and Chargers. More often than not, I'll say "not a Hellcat" out loud. The few times it's actually a Hellcat made me very happy. I've been going to Bandimere more and more recently and I saw a bunch of Hellcats and one Demon. It was awesome, the Demon, Hellcat, or Viper are definitely my dream cars.

The scat pack widebody is a better balance of power and grip. It also feels more nimble. The redeye feels similar but I remember it being softer and feeling heavier on track. Also, because it's trying to keep you alive, the rear brakes are constantly working to correct oversteer. My friend gives "thrill rides" at a race track in a hellcat and the rear brakes last less than 300 miles lol. Still a great car, but more of a party trick

The demon is more drag race only, fat rears and skinny fronts, hellcats seem more daily capable, the wide fender flares dont stick out much. Im more of a zr1 guy but for some reason love the n/a 6.4 hemis - spice red with big cam, maybe giant stroker would be sinister... or the hard top vipers are godly
I think it needs a manual still as even when I drive high horsepower cars I still find want for a manual transmission even when it's not one. The feel of shifting your own gears is just so much more fun in my opinion. But still a cool car
I swore when I saw the yellow tabs in the front I thought it was a special thing for the srt scat pack 6.4 bee models. I thought the yellow was to symbolize the pollen that bees carry on there face and legs when flying. I obviously thought to deep in it.

I had far too many people saying get the Demon over the Redeye, but knowing how I only go drag racing for fun, I went with the more street version type Demon, not because my bank account wasn't big enough. Know one ever said something that ass backwards to me. "Dude, why get a hamburger? Can't you afford steak!?" Lol, probably drives a Prius cause he can't afford a Tesla

Just drove this back to back with a scat pack widebody. Redeye is great for laughs (and omg that gearbox KICKS) but I preferred the scat pack

Widebody is an option. You can get both the regular hellcat and the redeye with or without widebody. But only the regular hellcat with a manual
