bummer they went for no mullet in large. I am 6,07 and a medium would be to small. Average joe wants a playful bike, but this will probably won't fit my needs

2:59 im pretty sure that yellow line of progressiveness was the alluminium sender (basic sender without a middle link that the CF version has ) that's why they improve so much the suspension progresivity

When I ride park I'm all about messing around, finding random gaps/lines, pumping over stuff etc. so I think all these modern bikes just require a smooth and aggressive riding style to have the same level of fun. Yeah they're faster than 650b/26'' bikes but it's a different way to enjoy your own bike park laps. Does the average consumer ride like this? My 2 cents

@William Craig the new demo , its a alloy frame too , and other brands has both alloy and carbon but canyon its the only brand which has both and alloy and CF are different
I have nothing against air shocks, they're great, but I don't want any on my downhill bike. Even if were to work the same as a coil shock but lighter, the problem is it doesn't radiate the same overpowering manliness that a thick coiled up piece of cold hard metal. What's next, aero parts?
it looks aboslutely gorgeous and is seriously equipped 😐 most likely way to much for me, i can never ride as fast as the levels of stability this bike can provide bit man its beautiful

@@timtb7906 yeah that suck.i have a Canyon torque 2019 and the bushings were gone after 5 rides and suspension components were coming into contact with eachother because of the Flex of the frame(selling the bike rn)
@@timtb7906 As mentioned, the bushings are gone. Bearings are now used in all the pivot points, including the one shown in your video. Shouldn't be an issue anymore.
The dropouts look like they're going to snap off after the first time someone lands flat. Can't you just make it look bigger, even it's just show, to give us those warm fuzzy feelings like maybe it won't snap off and kill us during a landing?
Unless they shuttle you up to your favorite spot, talking about bikes that aren't e-bikes is pointless. Regular bikes are quickly becoming a thing of the past despite all the idiots that say otherwise.
Wow another overpriced bike from 10 years ago +- 1 degrees of changes in geometry no one can actually notice. The only exciting thing about new bikes coming out is all the old bikes go on sale which actually making it affordable for the avg consumer
@@timtb7906 the whole market is overpriced. The margins on these bikes are crazy and the only justification given is "oh but we spent a lot on R&D". Motor racing solved every problem MTB manufacuters "solve" from suspension to geometry 20 years earlier and yet somehow cost of a brand new dirtbike is same as a MTB, even cheaper half the time.

canyon and specialized are basically copying the banshee legend and calling it their own linkage design for the rear suspension
