Lenovo Go will soon get automatic BIOS and driver updates in Lenovo Space. Should become as easy to update as a Switch. There is a long list of updates Lenovo is working on.
@@markguim Yep. They do the same on their official site. You should get a 240W USB-C 4.0 Angled adapter for the bottom of Lenovo go so you can insert cable flat sideways. I bought one for mine.
That’s good to hear, current have both, gotta return one. This crappy ass ui is the only thing I hate about Lenovo. It’s sooooo far behind rog that i don’t even know if updates will ever get to rog level. Also no Vrr only noticeable when playing games that fps fluctuates a lot. So very noticeable when playing AAA games.
@@BK-sx5ps I have no UI problems at all on Lenovo, because i boot straight in to Windows 11 Desktop and have easy access to everything. Lenovo services is still running in background, so you can still adjust hardware settings.
@@V3ntilator Like I said, have both atm, you just haven't experienced the others. BTW does fps counter on legion work? I can't get it to work. Having the rog before getting legion... I don't have faith Lenovo can get their overlay up to Asus level. Asus have made it very close to steam deck level overlays. Hopefully it can have a fraction of what Asus overlay currently offers.
Had mine about 3 weeks at most now. My first pc coming from Xbox strickly, I no longer use my Xbox s. Huge learning curve fir me I struggled and still am at times but I really really love it, first 2 days I didn't sleep bc how sucked in I was. Just got emulation going last night after having to learn so much. ( still some problems and hard getting any help w emulation. I play primarily fps games. Halos my favorit. Took me about a week to get comfortable using in hand held mode, now I can play pretty competitive once it clicks in your head. Have some joystick extenders coming in since these thumbstivks are a bit smaller compared to the Xbox s controllers
See this is the one i really want. The bigger 144hz screen. i dont even care about the battery life, the 144hz sells it for me. It tells me in a pinch i can play Valorant or CS2 in a hotel room without lugging my laptop or an entire desktop.
I am a Ally owner and for me I prefer it to the GO just because I am not interested in the FPS mode and playing with it detached with kickstand. If they are good to you definitely go for this device but if they are not I feel the rog ally is the better device. I play most of my games 15w to 25w mode and get between an hour and 2 hours from a full charge. I also own a dock with SSD slot in it that I use for using it on the TV with my Xbox controller. I have used this mode the least but I like to sit in the sofa and play it in handheld mode. I am loving seeing these devices on the market now yes they are not a pickup and play device like the switch ect but it's a pc. Take a little time when you 1st play a game to get the settings you won't and off you go. For me it's no different to when I pc gamed only difference now is I can play this on the go or on my TV. I don't think you can go wrong with this or the ally if it's what you are looking for. The one to two hours battery life never bothered me as I have used it on the go but normally on a train ride which has a plug anyway for them longer journeys.
@@james8606 nice never owned the allly, and yeah i mostly play plugged for the demanding games but the battery is there when i need for the small games on the go
The screen size really makes this . I haven’t picked up my steam deck since.. BUT, I’ve only played it at home as well.. Windows is a bitch and it’s still buggy, but 2 ports, and the big ass screen is really nice for text
I used to be a GPD guy but I've been converted to a OneXplayer fan. Grabbed two OneXplayer 2s for my kids and all 3 of our OneX devices have been rock solid. Just bought into the Onexgpu which also works with the Lenovo.
Just like the steam deck,it takes a shit load of work but worth it in the end. I'm sure after some time, like the steam deck, the lenovo go will be solid.
This review is a complete joke. Who are you warning, senior citizens?? Everyone owns a PC and same issue happens to people on many occasions. All of these PC portables will require patches and fixes. If you want mindless plug and play, get yourself a Switch and enjoy your camomile 🤣. This device is a complete monster and by far exceeded my expectations. Battery life is also very good and the huge screen compared to Asus Ally is a major upgrade alone. I won't even mention the OLED Deck because it's underpowered and out of the Legion Go's league to say the least. Buy it guys, I'm loving mine and no regrets!!
@@salvatoregiuffrida8912 yeah I been thinking about getting one . I currently have the ROG ALLY that runs everything I need on max settings so we will see. I just know its not a NEEED right now lol
I’ve heard many people complain about the battery life or lack thereof. But, I don’t game for more than an hour. I have a life and other hobbies. If a person wants to game for 3-4 hours, really need to get a life.

Great to hear. Also love how transparent Lenovo is with these updates on Reddit. They've been sharing weekly news over there

On average settings how long would I get from the battery?

This is an awesome review very informative
Would you possibly do a video installation of FC 24 please thanks 🙏
Hey man if the cable is still bugging you get a vertical usbc connector you can get one for like 9 pound hope this helps
😊
might do that. thank you!
ROG ALLY Z1 Extreme version under $500 if you don't care about open box units at Best Buy.
My friend got the rog ally z1 extreme and it’s broken now from overheating and frying the insides

Have the 2tb LG. Not for everybody. Very very true. But, I enjoy games in 1600p on the Go, daily.
Using the 2tb mostly for women pics and videos

Nope. But u can stream and it’s good for that

How’s the ergonomics in handheld?
Not as comfy as an Xbox controller, but that one doesn't have a display 😂. Find it weird to have so many buttons though.
Thanks
This is not true. I haven't changed any settings and I can game fine
Your comment is useless
I had to change settings for Alan Wake 2 to open it. Also had to change settings in red dead 2 to keep it at full screen.
Just get a cabel tht has a angel.....
Everyone gets triggered when you say something aboutbtge handheld they own

😂😂 good to know. Shot on Sony zv-e1
The software is awful compared to the rog ally...
