Man, this sounds so good. Nice one. Been looking for videos of the Beatbuddy being used with an acoustic for live and this was such a perfect find. Thanks.
I’m on the fence about buying one of these. Had a few questions. As a solo act is it complicated to go from song to song? And do you feel like it improves the energy having one?
Super easy going from song to song. Use a two button external switch to scroll up and down songs. Sometimes a pain if want to do song 100 and at song 50 for example… But even then not an issue. Short answer is yes to improving energy levels. I’ve now progressed onto using Ableton on stage, which has made an enormous improvement to the crowd feeling the vibes / getting up and dancing for example.
mack mcarthur Hey Mack! Thanks for the kinda words. I use the Brushes kit and have added a tambo to the kit and slightly modified the train beat... I’m away from it atm, but can give you accurate details later if you want? Cheers! T
Love it trent! Sounds awesome! Love your beatbuddy beats. Can I ask what kit you are using? Love the tambourine on the snare beat but cant find them on my beatbuddy.
Declan Keane Hey Mate! Cheeeeers. I’m using the brushes kit, but then I manually added a tambourine and shaker to the kit via the kit builder. I found 4 or so tambo samples I liked and added them in. Happy to help if ya get stuck man! T. 🕺🏻🎸🥁🎤
@@TrentCrawfordMusic thanks for getting back to me Trent. Yea I've been playing round with it, still loads to learn but really enjoying it. Your videos are great for getting some inspiration for beats and song arrangements, thanks so much!
Hey Dan, cheers! To change songs I use a dual switch plugged Into the BB, left switch is song down and right switch is song up! The dual switch also controls pause and accent hit while a song is playing!

This sounds great. Well done. What drumset is that you're using on the BB in this video?
Hey Neil, Thanks!

@@TrentCrawfordMusic Thanks for letting me know mate. Sounds great!
Sounds great, Trent! Question...how do you switch from song to song while playing a set?

Are you able to pre-set and save the different tempos for each song on your song list?
