I would really love a lore playthrough at some point! I kind of know what happens in Qud now, but I have literally no idea why anything happens. Even something like Saad Amus- who is he and why is he in that tomb? If that would be a massive ballache no worries of course, I should just play it myself, but I do enjoy your expertise!
I also did a cheeky google regarding the temporal clones thing- seems possible that they don't inherit gesticulating/ulna stimulator strength boosts at the moment? Could be worth checking out
A lot of the lore, except for the yellow books, is randomized. Even the history of the sultans. But... the yellow books suggest that humans expanded into the stars and met other space faring races, and then something happened so Earth was banned from space and plagued with plagues, Space Magic plagues.
I think, as someone who last played 4 years ago and never got very far, I'm gonna keep what happens from this point onwards a mystery.

I am fully convinced the, easily, most broken and powerful item in the game is the humble holo wrist. I hope I can get through the quests before they fix it.
Yeah, the holo bracelet is amazing! There's also an advanced version
@Rogue_Rat the basic one is weirdly better unless you really need to spam int checks on a particularly smart enemy.

If you ever do another True Kin play through I'd love to see Billowing Conch of Anji true kin. Seems a strange archetype to me, not quite sure what it's trying to dispose you towards with its starting attributes.
I think another true Kin playthrough will definitely be on the cards after this one

Got absolutely spooned for my first Kesil face yesterday. 2 of the cherubs were immobile sea urchins. Runs still goin strong, gonna try to assemble it.
Edit: Forgot to mention I beguiled a legendary sultan croco. Armored it up and gave it that zoomy backpack the kopesh guy has. It murders everything dude 😂😂

You blink but you AVOID damage. It might be useful sometimes.
The damage avoidance is great, HOWEVER the real reason this is a scary modifier is because you can blink behind a group of enemies and get trapped there, and have to fight you way out - I've died so many times to this effect, even in the late game haha

Astral tabby(A.K.A phase cat) sunder mind and syphon vim works on them. I have lvl 59 (bying books from legendary skribe cloned 8 times 70-110k exp per 20k+ $ )esper character who has 425 glimmer. I'm now friends with seekers of sightless way because they ambushed me in bey lah and it gone to smoke... their ambushes were five or more psychics and a lot of dromad caravans, i would been fine if caravans became neutral after killing the psychic they do not come to senses after killing mastermind.. yea a lot of blood spilled there and a loot of loot.. glimmer ambushes every 4 to five screen ans around 40+ enemies become tedious afte a while. Starting char: warden esper, unstable genome x3, mental mirror, sense psychic, telepathy, socially repugnant
You're telling me after 1000 hours I never tried to sunder or syphon an Astral Tabby?! That's right - I didn't. THANK YOU SO MUCH, this will save me so much time in future runs. The annoying thing now that I think about it, is that I've definitely used sunder against out of phase creatures like the phase spider in the past.
i drank brain brine yesterday for the first time and got the dystechnica debuff... why didnt i sphynx injector first? well. good question.
@@stonecoat_art hahaha dude, that sucks - especially when you consider that the chance for a debuff is only like 10% or so! Dystechnia isn’t too bad, especially the longer the run is going. So sorry!
@@Rogue_Rat haha thanks man, yeah its not too bad, i already have like 25 int. But I'm trying to avoid looking stuff up first if it's the first time i encounter it. Doesnt always end well :T
