This real hip hop
90s fashion was the best. Everyone had their own style
Nick Sealy so much colours in gears...
Rightt. It was the best 🔥🔥🔥
we still do .....
N always keepin it baggy of course! Glad it's slowly comin back
Naw.. During any era everyone looked the same. Even now.
Sadat one of the most underrated flows of all time
New York undercover 1994👍✊✊
New York Undercover brought me here. But Brand Nubian is a group that don't get enough credit. Lord Jamar and Sadat X both held their own while Puba went solo but I'm glad they all came back together eventually and not when it was too late💯 salute to the legends of Hip Hop💯
This album was PRESSURE! I remember this song was played on NY Undercover!! Midwest brotha over here..love and peace everyone!!🤲🏾😎💪🏾
Whole album was my shit in the fall of 94, damn it's crazy, wifey & I been together since then, 26 yrs flew by...
I'm 22 and I like this type of rap🔥
I’m a 42 years old. Man I miss the 90’s hip hop/rap era. You can understand there poetic realism in the music. Not like this bubble gum/demonic rap crap today...Even the 80’s music montage was amazing. Listening to 80s and 90s music makes me forget about how crazy the world is.. Good memories. 🇺🇸👊🏻.
Yes indeed
I AM 43 AND I ALSO MISS 90S HIP HOP.
I’m 47.
same here
2024 New York Undercover brought me here ! Dope
OLD SCHOOL HIP-HOP BRAND NUBIAN WORD IS BOND MUSIC 🎶
Damn...I'm getting old...this was fire. What the hell happened to hip hop? Hell, what happened to society??
They repped the culture EXCELLENTLY.
This song was on New York Undercover!! Season 1, episode 9 The Friendly Neighborhood Dealer
Just to think...people thought they were done when Puba left, this album was hard!!!
Done? They haven't even finished 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾and for the record Puba is back and ALL of them are being honored in our hometown of New Rochelle, New York Saturday 9/16/23 in Lincoln park on Lincoln Ave from 3pm to 8pm🥰❤️💚💜💛💙 it's going to be 🔥🔥🔥 l hope you make it and get this message in time 🥰🙏🏽
I agree they did well to kick on
The best era of hip hop and conscious rap!!! Damn I miss lyrical education...
No one even called it conscious back then, it was just hip hop. That was before it was corrupted by dumb shit and overwhelming commercialism.
100% true
@@GozerTheGozerian yup, now we respect it by calling it conscious rap
Peace to every Black Man!!!! Women!!!!! and Child!!!!
And the white and the braun and the yellow
Bitch assss Bitch
@@ibontheblock2478 Black men have the right to be proud of their blackness...fuck you and your agenda against us!
Will B. Smooth - formerly KardiFan2000 your an ignorant joke all lives matter not
Just blue and black ones lol
And all the latin brotherz
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💯💯💯💯💯
Jamar walking off after each verse is a classic Jamar move.
All time classic. Sadat x has so much groove in his flow.
Word life
Sadat X's cadence is so unique. I think Vast Aire was influenced by him.
Should hear his new ish
Omg!! “I Drive A Cadillac Seville and Still Be Real, Drive a Garbage Truck and don’t Give A..” The REAL & The RAWNESS of this Lyrical Flow!!! Yesssss Sir!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Still N2 2021!!!!!!!!!
Bars
One of my fave songs ever.
That beat is ill, Unc. I miss when brothas used to incorporate jazz flavors into they music.
@Kenneth The Golden Child yea he did
@Kenneth The Golden Child I thought it was, too, but it grew on me. A lot of people thought Brand Nubian was biting the West Coast sound on Everything Is Everything... because it was poppin' in the early '90s... even Big and Puff bit it.
YES....jazzy hip hop was EVERYTHING. I blame the lack of music education in public schools in part for why hip hop today is so minimalist and repetitive.
@@norekfamily Check out Marcus D. He's bringing the jazz back to hip hop.
@@KtotheG will do, thanks for the tip
I Remember This Playing In A Episode Of New York Undercover.Long Live The 90s!
I remember that episode
KIDS soundtrack also
This beat. This beat. This beat.
This is what they play on the elevator to heaven.
Buck Bowen have you heard the remix 👌
Eric Slubicki jamar is the worst part
@Eric Slubicki Jamar made the beat and killed his verses along with X.
balle733 So... Jamar was the weakest link in the chain
balle733 Jamar is
Respect to the old school.
New York Undercover brought me here.
It’s 2024 and still this song still hits!
Brand Nubian for life, legends
Real Hip Hop!!! 💯🔥🔥🔥
Golden Age Days. Realness...
Love this classic
Golden time. I miss this age, true soul was leaking out of the people creating bonds stronger than any borders.
afusake jamar is so lame hes jus trash sadat x and grand puba r dope tho
Reruns of New York Undercover brought me here!!!!
This is my favorite rap/ hip hop group of all time
Yea bring that 80s to late 90s style I fucking love it
Classic Joint
'90s hip-hop are all that
Sadat stays dropping gems.....
Lord Jamar stepped up with the Production. 7G Production
Just heard this on New York Undercover back in the day
Brand Nubian... So underrated!
Bro......they killed this!
BN was dope!!
Classixal HipHop!!!
Damn this joint funky! I actually never heard it before. They mentioned it on Unsung, so thought I would check it out and I'm really diggin it.
Classic
Yaddddameaaaaaan!!!
the Real hip-hop
One of the best tracks ever made.
This is their greatest song
All For One....
Good.far from their greatest though
@@marxman300 what whould their greatest be then ? this right here is amazing and i've tryied listening to many of their other songs, you said it's far too... what am i missing
Brand Nubian moves as one unit there are no weak links! Peace to those brothers. Dead that comment about Jamar.
Jamar is garbage. He's not on the same level of X & Puba. I'm an 80s baby. I know what I'm talking about. Hes the weak link in this chain
@@mrsanders805th Your immature. to be a 80s baby. All this hostility over a comment. Geesh! Relax!!! Can't there be peaceful disagreements anymore.
Only the deaf, dumb and blind dont acknowledge Lord Jamaars rymes and mind are sublime...Check out " Foundation" album as a group and Lords solo project " The 5% Album...Swine never appreciate pearls! Peace to the God!
"Yeah, your group was off the chain, but you were the weakest link!"
- Eminem to Lord Jamar
Funk never gets old ❤
I didn’t live in the 90s New York but goddamn it gives me that vibe 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bad Ass Jam!!!
PEACE TO THE GODS AND EARTHS!!
Love that jazzy hip hop. Feels so good man..
lord jamar with the locs
The strength was in his locks like Samson.
Grand puba straight fire. My Lord funky flow
Grand Puba been left the group when this album came out, thats Sadat X your hearing.
These two were soulful phenomenal group
You know what 2022 and still finding absolute hip hop gems 💎 90’s 🐐 love it when lord Jamar is spitting bars ✌️ long live real hip hop
Lord Jamar was my favorite back then but listening to Sadat now and I'm thinking he was on a whole nother level
Sadat is a beast. Lord Jamar showed out on this one with some 🔥 bars
Dreadlock I said I rock for my block.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
U gotta feel this
Crazy jazzy mad skillz... yep. Thx. I remember.
I love the back in forth style it a lost art.
Legendary 🔝💣🔥👊🎤
This is still 🔥 peace to the 5%
Kids 1995 love that movie
Dang! Forgot bout this One!!😎👍💪
To me these guys are a top 10 group ever.
Still 🔥🔥🔥
'YahNaMeen!'
- Lord Jamar
Lord Jamar went from writing Rhymes to doing Vlad TV interview's.🤔🙄😖😞
@jeanemlicar To his own show.
@@jeanemlicar yes but he has become more well known
True yet he isn't well known for his lyrical artistry. Whenever people mention Brand Nubian, they only praise Sadat X and Grand Puba for their skills while Lord Jamar is only known for hating on Eminem.@@gmain1977
@@jeanemlicar no he also knows a lot about black history , he says about Eminmen what many black people want to say in my generation , yes he is talented but his colour has given him priviedges
Well this is impressive, I've never heard of this group from the 90s.. Until I heard a reference.. Looked them up and wow I am really impressed. Reminds me of DAS EFX a little bit
Man I heard this so much as s a kid I was sick of it.. now I'm missing this whole era.. 90's
This was my shit in high school
Me all day every day
90s never again, finding life, and fun times
Lord Jamar the Truth
Jumar is trash.
One of the best chorus/samples
I remember this song but don’t remember this video , it’s a dope!
Sadat is the Dave Chappelle of rappers. I love this track, defined a whole ERA.
If Chappelle was a rapper he would sound like Sadat X but rap like Mos Def.
Been busy but now we free.
This is heaven ...seriously with Sadat X shiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Oh mon dieu merci BRAND NU
Yeahhh!boom
Pinche roloooooooon ❤❤
Dope
Sadat X Has his own flow. He ends his bars whenever tf he feels. He'll let a full 1 to 2 bars pass by before the hook comes in. In other words,,,, He'll end his flow on an ODD bar count. Lol
Wish Puba could have gone on this one
🔥🔥🔥
You show this to kids now and they'll say "damn I didn't know Chappelle used to rap" aboutSadat X. I can't believe people don't know Brand Nubian.
Who came here because of #NewYorkUndercoverBET
now lets take timeout to say peace to the gods, bust how i release cuz this beat is hard we be the squad for RA (aka rakim) taught to rule take a thought to the top now i drop the jewel
“We be the squad Farad (MFM) taught tonRule”…..

Str8 classic
Another thing i like about back in the days, they wore clothes that everybody had or could afford
NYC MC AT ITS BEST
