    Sasha is hilarious when she calls LA residents superficial. Isn't that who buys your stuff, Sasha? Nice tat, BTW.

      She said she thought they were before she opened her store there but changed her mind.

      I think she accidentally stumbled into why it is a better market for boutiques but has yet to realise it.
      I guess you can take the boutique owner out of the Bayarea but not the Bayarea in the boutique operator.
      I guess her style is popular in LA, because she is so understated it is so fresh compared to the LA boutique scene!

      Please watch it to the end. The space was rented to a gay comic book store. Not clear whether he's getting $8k/month for it though.

      Yeah but that's just liquor stores late night in the tenderloin. Not sure how that will work out, but worth a try. The issues in those areas need to be dealt with from all angles

      @@kohort1, no, they just need to get tougher on crime and put more police on foot patrols..

      @kohort1 11 дней назад

      @@RacerX1971 I'm honestly not a huge believer in foot patrol. It would be great if there are enough of them. But I'm not sure how they work along side with patrol cars. I honestly think motocross bikes would tremendously help the force become nimble and fast but obviously carries more risk for the biker cop.

      Breed is clueless, she just wants to continue collecting her $300K salary by renewing her contract through an election win or be unemployed.
      Vacancy Tax, Not clearing out encampment, soft on crime, this is all self inflicted by weak leadership, not just the mayor but every clueless supervisor in the city! SF has been in a doom loop senerio before the pandemic. The pandemic was just the straw that broke the camels back!

    That new LGBT shop that replaced the boutique shop is going to closed no doubt . The hint for wanting to open an "online" store was the key because they too are getting robbed silly by the rent rise. $8 to $12k? lol...the building owner could care less, they have made so much that they can sit in the property being empty for 2 years easily.

      They would rather let them sit vacant and collect tax breaks than get into a lease agreement at a lower price. It's been this way for a while and it sucks. It started happening across SF in 2019 as more overseas speculators were scooping up all the commercial and household real estate. The fines they incur for letting them sit empty and create blight are literally $200 a year.
