I have a Honda civic 1990 ex sedan with a motor swap of a b18b1 gsr manual I replaced the spark plugs gapped and torqued, ignition spark plug coils, distributor ignition coil, fuel pump, battery, alternator, fuel injectors, cranks no start the mechanics bypassed the security system I lost the key fob if u could give me some ideas of what I could do to figure out my issue
Are you sure it's a gsr a gsr it's a b18c1 the b18b1 is like the one from this video I would check out the main relay on my old Integra wouldnt start and it was a wire that came off the main relay plug remove the aftermarket alarm and see what it does
My timing belt actually ripped off my b20 while i was driving ,my buddy is gonna pretty much do exactly this ,replace my pump and Belt .what would be a rough estimate for labor for this type of job? (I’m buying the parts myself)

@@RBTheMechanic trying this and my millawee 1/2" drive impact is not removing the 19mm bolt. Not sure if I have something that i could get it hot enough to help remove.

En Serio? Well 1st thing 1st don’t impact it u can damage things u have to hold the harmonic balancer pully then try to impact it but since it didn’t come off they sell $12 tool that goes inside the balancer to hold for u. Now u have to do it mainly with hand power

@@RBTheMechanic Hey man thanks for the video, it is alot of help I unfortunately i am also having an issue with the timing bolt, due to where i live they use salt during the winter seasons and auaes terrible corrosion on every bolt... is this something I could apply a bit of heat to without ruining anything? Like 20 seconds give or take of some heat, thanks

@@angelgarcias7328 no problem yea the idle control vale is expensive now days new cars have electrical throttle so idle control valve is eliminated the electrical throttle run fron$400-500 but I do remember honda and Acura idle valve run me around $190-400 and the brand was intermotor I used that brand lot but I think the price u got is fair Belt goes around $40 good water pump ASIN brand or delco like $70 or gates commin brand $40

Key fob u lost it? So car don’t start or unlock or alarm goes off?

Nooo don’t use pry bar for the cover, hurts too much. Just smack it loose with rubber hammer. Other than that very good video, I learned a lot
Mickey mouse eared thing is a "wing nut" and this" little guy right here don't loose it " after you pulled the crank pulley is a woodruff key.
Does the harmonic balancer have to be aligned?
No that sits with key and it will only enter same spot

That’s a good question u can align the valve to close up and then take out the spark plug push in compressor air with guage and see if it holds.

@@mtrevlac the crank bolt some times get tight they sell tool to hold crank it’s like 15$ and then put on pry bar with socket on center

My crankshaft rotates along with my impact gun when I try and get the bolt off . Any ideas how to get it off???

Idle control valve is expensive but timing belt u should be able to get on amazon and water pump
