Great stuff Dean !! Looking forward to watching the rest of these, thought I’d start at the beginning 😊 Stewart Grant flagged up your channel btw . Play solo myself, have done for over fifty years 😳
Thanks Jim, there’s a few to look through 😊, Stewart was at the 75th Anniversary event, a nice guy who promotes Subbuteo brilliantly. I originally played back in the mid 70’s when I was a kid then my stuff disappeared during the 80’s. Got back into it in the 90’s with new stuff then when I moved house it ended up in the loft until the beginning of lockdown. Now I’m back into it more than ever! It’s a bit addictive 😁. I really enjoy solo play, I’m not competitive enough or good enough to join a league though!
Jim, yes I have seen it, and yes Calum, I didn’t put two and two together there looking at your surname. How’s Calum doing, we don’t see as much of him these days, is he up to other stuff?
Perhaps someone accidentally crushed him with their hand? We used to play on the floor (no table big enough), so players often got knelt on by accident! A tube of 'Airfix' glue and an overnight stay on the treatment bench (propped up on the mantlepiece) usually saw them fit for the next match.

@@SubbuteoFocusyeah Stewart’s a good lad! Don’t know if you ever watched the netflicks Subbuteo show on here but Calum (my youngest lad ) is on that 😊

Ha ha , yes he’s doing alright Dean , two kids under five and a full time job keep him out of mischief 😂
I bet, sounds like he has his hands full. Remember those days well 😁
What colour is the Ipswich goalkeeper's shirt please?
Looks grey on the video.
Is it an over-paint?
Thanks.
It's not that clear in the video but it's actually Green, it's the original colour and probably looks grey as it's become a bit worn over the years.
@@SubbuteoFocus Ah, ok thanks.
Are Ipswich the old h/weight reference 2 please?
Surely Shilton should be in goal for Forest? Was he injured?
Yes he would have been but he’s in goal for Stoke 75/76 so Woods came in as replacement 😁
