You got it, the 3 fates of mythology. When they cut the string, you die. Exit Eden is a supergroup. Formed in 2017 by former member Amanda Sommerville, she has worked with Trillium, EPICA, Alice Cooper, Kiske/Sommerville, Avantasia. She left last year to focus on family. This is the lead single from their 2nd album, Femme Fatales, and their first original song, came out last year. Frenchwoman Clementine Delauney (black dress) is lead singer of Visions of Atlantis, Brazilian Marina LaTorraca (white dress) lead singer of Phantom Elite, and German/American Anna Brunner is lead singer of League of Distortion. More Exit Eden: for an original , the Femmes Fatales title track. And covers of Separate Ways and Total Eclipse of the Heart. For Clementine and Visions of Atlantis: "Melancholy Angel" or their newest song "I'm Alive". For Anna and League of Distortion: "Wolf or Lamb" or "Galvanize". And for Marina and Phantom Elite : "Diamonds and Dark"
Dude!! I appreciate the info: had to start 4 files- this band and their own bands. I really enjoyed this tune and the video was just fire! Thanks buddy!
@@BemusingBill League of Distortion released a new song today. How's that for timing? lol. RUclips keeps deleting my comment when I put the actual song title here. Let's try this. "Cr uc i fy Me"
I think it's somewhat of the same idea as "Do not go gentle into that good night." The fates are telling Marko that they will cut his thread in the end, so he needs to live his life to the fullest. Exit Eden's 2nd album Femme Fatales is so good. And, I like the fact that they are venturing out into original work, after a first album of covers. Marko's vocals add a depth to this music. The man can harmonize with anyone. I appreciate the fact that he had a substantial part in this. Often, "guest vocalists" have a couple of lines to sing and are included just for the power of the name. And, I just want to point out that he isn't a spring chicken any more and is doing a pretty good job of running through that wet sand. I hope he didn't have to film that too many times.
Funny you mentioned Marko not being a 'spring chicken' anymore. I was thinking about that as well. But he looks to be in good shape and his voice is as powerful as ever! I'm looking forward to checking out more Exit Eden. Thank you dear sista!
Glad you discovered Exit Eden! One of my favorite bands.. and I actually interact(ed) with all 3 singers this week.. chatted with Ana and League of Distortion last night, Have a chat with Marina and Phantom Elite scheduled for saturday.. and I'm watching the Visions of Atlantis live streams of their shows almost every night of this tour... And they are all fantastic people.
Wow! That's so cool! Glad to hear they are all cool, but honestly not surprised. I don't think Marko would work with them if they were a bunch of a-holes.
This whole album makes me happy, but I'm a little sat that Amanda left the band after their first album. They used to be a quartet. Clementine (singer in the second verse) is from Visions of Atlantis, Anna (the one with the half shaved head) is from League of Distortion, and Marina (white dress) is from Phantom Elite. Amanda Somerville was a founding member also. Their first album Rhapsodies in Black is amazing and is 100% a cover album, but amazing!! The ladies were the Fates in this video. The concept of this video is amazing. Enjoy your Exit Eden journey Uncle Bill.
