I use an Alinker. It has made a HUGE difference in my life. I am not as disabled as many of the people BE Alink talks about here. I have back problems that prevent me from standing for a long time, but otherwise I am still pretty strong. Before the Alinker, I was using an electric scooter. That left me WEAKER at the end of the day because I was sitting, motionless all day long. With the Alinker, I sit and I WALK! I keep the large muscles in my legs active and at the end of the day I have at least held my own, if not gained muscle mass.
Some things NOT mentioned in the video is that while I am on the Alinker, I am at eye level with others (well, I'm barely 5 foot, so I will never be on eye level with MOST people, but that's not the point! lol!). People treat you differently when you are seated in a wheelchair or other mobility aid!
The other thing I would like to mention is the "cool" factor! I can't tell you how many times I have walked into a store on my Alinker and had people... including KIDS... shout out, "Hey! That's really COOL!!!" Yes! Yes, it is! It is WAY cool!

19 juillet 2024 Hello from France. In a wheelchair since December 2023 I can walk some, but it’s very difficult so where, most days, I used to walk 5 km on these beautiful French country roads I am housebound. But good news…in a few weeks This woman is making it possible for me to buy the ALINKER, it will be shipped here and hopefully by mid Aug I will be once again walking in the nature. Also many thanks to Karen of UK for her help and making this possible. It is a big investment but what would you pay if you could walk again?

19 juillet 2024 it is not like getting on a bike if you look at the ALINKER, you come onto it, walk into it, “sit” on the seat and just start walking as much as you can. There is no leg lifting.
