I LOVE my Alinker. It’s made me feel mobile again after four years of being slow and unsteady on my feet. I have a severe cervical spinal stenosis (cord injury) that gives me leg weakness. I am now so much faster and freer with my Alinker. We need governments to support the Alinker and the development of similar mobility devices. Designers need grants to get great prototypes turning into real products and technologies. Thank you Be! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Alinker mobility walker. ❤❤❤
I just discovered the Alinker, and the compassion of BE has touched my heart. These are the inventors and technologists we /need/, not the musks or the zuckerbergs. Humans with compassion. Humans with empathy.
I’m 60 and developed RA when I was 58 little by little It’s been hindering my mobility I can’t walk long distances knees my lower back and hips hurt. I go to the gym but can’t use all the machines I want I gave away my bike. I need this machine for my mental health and to feel normal again.
I’m so excited to start walking with my ALinker. A home PT is coming to help me use it. I just had surgery a week ago. It’s together sitting in my living room. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. WT
I really hope we can get one of these for my 75 year old neighbor and dear friend. I want to see her smile big at having more mobility back and not being in pain while walking. So she can walk next to her husband, grandchildren and her newest great grandchild all with ease she has not had for many years. 🤞🤞 We are having a secret meeting at my house today to see if it will be possible. I really really hope it is. To see her happy and moving with less pain would be the best early Christmas gift EVER!
What an insightful talk, I am an ABI survivor after surviving a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 56, I went from being a very active, driven and involved woman, to feeling invisible, I look forward to trying rhe alinker.
Incredible! So glad you made this. So glad you thought differently to help others. What a blessing. I thank Jesus for you inventing this bike. Wow! It’s such a gift to humanity. People’s mobility back to them. I’m going to check into this s as well.
07 Jul 2024. I know! Is this not the best kept secret in the handicap world?! I just found out about it two weeks ago. I have tried all the emails addresses. I even tried this phone number on one of the addresses. I’ve written several emails got two answers which sent me to another one which didn’t answer, it is so hopeless when I look out the window at the beautiful countryside where I could be out there walking on my little yellow bike, except that I can’t get one! Hope you are having a wonderful day wherever you are, God bless you. Jesus loves you...a.
😢 i do not want to go back into braces more than i am already in daily. I walk now but, days i don't. Weight goes on when i cant walk. 😢 walking makes u happy and healthy
Hun, if you live in Canada they now have a Rent to own program. If you live elsewhere then go to the Contact on the Alinker home page and see what other options they have. Do not give up so easily, they will help you in any way they can. I am honored to be an Alinker owner; I call her BumbleBE and she is awesome!!
@@gthomas15229 just tell the store ‘this is instead of a wheelchair’ .. the store wouldn’t dare deny you. If they do .. guess they don’t want your money .. or the letter you wrote about them in your local newspaper 😆
I had to have my right leg amputated above the knee 3 years ago. I am now an 82 years old female and get around in a power wheelchair. I thought I would get a prosthetic leg and get back my mobility. After being assured I would get one, things conspired against me so no prosthetic leg. I manage and keep as active as possible. The appealing thing to, about this device is being at eye level and being able to exercise my lower body better. A friend told me about this and I immediately began learning about it. I watched testimonials and a couple were from amputees who love it. PROBLEM - they had prosthetic legs and used the Alinker using both legs. I want to talk to above the knee amputees who do not have a prosthetic leg. Are they able to use this device???????
I am saying the same, but was in a manual walker, but took my self out of it fastest as i could to walking sticks. See i was in an accident broke my back 16 pieces.
If a terratrike (and) other bikes can design for up to 400lbs, how come it takes so long for Alinker to come out with the Alinker 2.0? It's really needed for morbid obese... metabolically healthy when their only problem is with their legs but no chronic disease. Please come out with the 2.0 asap...
I have seen my family members go into those walkers i hate make them humpbacks i am on the verge of being put again into one cause of falls, i am the one who broke her back in 30s i need this on ss, what can i along with others to do to get one please
About USD $2500 but ALL wheeled mobility devices are expensive. It’s strong and collapsible. I put mine in the back of a hatchback. I bought mine second hand. It was about USD$1800.
The rear wheel would not like it. It is not made for non paved or carpeted surfaces. It is slow on grass too. You can triple up the rear wheel to make it better but wheelchairs hate gravel and grass too.
These bikes are ridiculous expensive. You can buy an electric bike for less money than you can buy one of these for tomorrow and help people don't rip them off
Man ……. I have to say how much I dislike this lady’s glib and polished delivery , the price of this very basic machine is Hair raising . Ok she put some effort into it but 500$ alone would be pushing boundaries whereas 3,347$ for a new one makes it available to only the well off . As a bicycle mechanic I find it very basic , as a caring person I find it an affront.
She needs to stop getting rich off of other people's disabilities... This is half a bike very easy to make your own And it will not cost thousands of dollars She should be ashamed of herself

How wonderful that it's so freeing and so simple to use. What a great soul this woman is. ❤
It's way too expensive for what you're getting. There is nothing about this device that justifies a $2,500 dollar price tag.

She had me crying at the end. I wish I could afford this. Walkers are horrible.

Dee Dee it folds up so easily! I keep it in my living room! 💗
@@ckg-mr5uq That is a great question. I don't know if stores even allow them inside.
You can ‘rent to own’ and without any extra Fees. There are many ways to get one so if you want one get going and do it!

Single leg and double leg amputees can use the Alinker. It depends on your body and strength but it is definitely possible.

super cool, but the price is double what it should be
needs a better seat to support the back
why a bike seat WHY

bring down the price to an affordable level
Look into buying a slightly used one - that is what I did and honestly I could not tell it was used. Saved myself $500.
@@goodwitch50 wish this was possible in Germany, ea4ly retired, tight budget and I will eventually find a way to get an Alinker for me.

Price is not realistic for majority of Seniors who would benefit from this bike.
