I find it hysterical that you all hate Paris. But loved the Asian maps that was a 1 grind corridor brawl. This map, well replay has the 2nd version of it. 90% of your team always went valley into the corridors. And TD's went the wide way around. IDK why Asian themed maps all suffered the same way. Hidden Village, Dragon Ridge, Emperors Border and this all had the same issue. Heck players did complain about Hidden Village not using more then 40% of the map, only to use 10% of the map they go. They were lemming fail magnets that had 90% of both teams going one 1 grid to duke it out. First version was way worse, as then one team camped bridge, and one had to yolo it. This map is actually on my top 3 worst map of all time.
Pearl River, WTF E100, non-lethal arty splash (with no stun either), IS-8, SU-122-54, ... those were the days in WoT...

And also I would delete Ensk, Empire Borders and sone other map, and restore the possibility to climb mountains and have some sneaky fun campspot for the ending of the battle... Befause watching 6/7 players trying to kill you in a sneaky corner allmost impossibel to reach was just so fun XD
Sometimes you could even draw or win some lost battle because players were also mlre inexperienced and didn't just go into the cap XD

I wasn't around for the change to 1.0. I quit back when they first took away arty's full power and added that stupid stun mechanic. That isn't why I left, but I have come back about a month ago and finding a few new maps and changes to old ones, but the same problem: Why don't they have 50 maps in circulation? I mean, come on. Variety would add a shit ton to the game's awesomeness.

@@doubleutubefan5 id go as far to reduce the alpha to 490 per round. 4 shots and around 40 seconds to reload. It can keep its accuracy and aim time. 1.5 seconds and .29 dispersion.

The original T30 back in Beta. Hull down Tier 10 heavy tank that could punch straight through a Maus and IS7 at any range? With a turret? 10 Degrees of gun depression (Might not sound like much now, but back in the day? -10 was like OMFG.) ALL the mobility, and Artillery had just reached tier 8, as did TDs.

My favorite moment with this tank was when I had just begun reloading my gun with that loooooong reload time and several light tanks came around the corner and saw me. I thought I was screwed but instead of retreating I decided drove towards them in a bluff and they all immediately backed away afraid of getting one clipped. Lol

@@pvdude17 That's why I switched to console from PC, when my obj 263 went from tier 10 to tier 9 and a gun that didn't appeal to me, I switched. Console wot doesn't remove tier 10s that people have put time into getting, they'll balance them but will not remove them and give you some shit you didn't want in the first place
And upon its release the Grille 15 did everything at tier ten that a pre nerf Hellcat did at tier Six.

268 V4 has two nonexistent weak spots, basically the mobility of a Leopard and armour of a Maus.
The 430U.. Heavy armour, heavy gun, medium-ish mobility, and light-ish camo. Accuracy doesn't mean anything because a KV-2 have a similar chance of hitting a target at 400 m as a Strv 103B in siege mode because of RNGesus.

I had a strange feeling watching this video.. I've never thought this game is so broken today, but after this battle I realized that its surely just because the game getting worse and worse for players step by step.
I mean, look at the map, there are many players who dont even know what this map was, I really miss good old maps where you had to put yourself in risky situations to outplay your opponents on not completely mirrored maps.
Or look at the tanks of the teams, were they removed entire branches since then? There is ST-I, E5, E75, Tiger II, T32 and so on which tanks barely played nowadays. I mostly only see derp beasts and russian blyatmobils on the battlefield now. Lack of variety it is.
Or look at the artillery shots, they didnt stun you to tear your nerves, arty couldnt even kill him from around a 100HP because he missed the shot, nowadays arties just bumps a shot near you and damages several hundred and also makes you incompetent for a whole reload time?!
And the last thing. Does anybody remember how long did it take to grind the next tier at high tiers? Yeah, it took long but you surely learned how to play that tank, and with regular rounds as without a premium account but with it too credits had much more value in this game. Hard to earn, easy to spend on tanks. I think most of us could afford to spam premium rounds but however we didnt have to. Do you remember the Tiger II hull back in the day? Tiger two's okey armor was able to sidescrape good enough, upper front plate was really tough, but we could shot lower plate or machine gun port, or cupola. I literally dont remember I sniped a cupola in the last 1 or 2 years, however in 2014-2015 we played with my friend the "Snipe the cupola 2015" game. Why dont we need tank knowledge to counter the enemy or where are those heavies stucked in front of each other and waiting for meds to help them out?
I miss my awkward sniping position on Hidden Village, the middle part of Komarin where we were fighting for our life, the sneaky moment on Northwest against tds, that chaos at the heavy front on Pearl River, the ships from port, the old version of Sacred Valley, Severogorsk with my T32 on the hill, where are our winter maps? Windstorm and the good looking city? Stalingrad? An okey city map, or South Coast and the sniper Jagd E-100 from the hill who sends me back to teh garage if I forget that spot?

fellow biker friends, i have a standard account, not premium. i do not afford to shoot apcr or premium ammo when facing objects or type 5. the arrangement of the maps, by corridors most of the time makes me face them face to face. also, even when flanking them the defender or whatever the fuck object bounces or "absorbs" my shot. so i loose. i do not play light tanks. also, when grinding like 65000 xp to get last gun on wt auf pz4 and then you bounce like crazy this is no fun for me. anyways, good luck and have fun!

Heavie armored tanks are easy to kill when you can flank it. Nerving is not realy the best idea. Wt on E100 is only op when he can stay in cover .... russian tanks are only op when they can play hull down ... you understand this creepy english of mine? 😂😂😂

I really miss being an ELC or a T-50 against high tier heavies. A decent amount of the time, you were too short to get shot if you hugged them, but you had to watch out for ramming damage instead (this would not work with current physics, though; they would just drive on top of you). Annoying heavies multiple tiers above you was a great feeling (especially since repair kits were one-use).
Dragon Ridge was one of my favorite maps, and definitely one of the best looking maps so far. I loved how big it felt, and that you actually gained an advantage if you explored it a little. I hate how they keep removing maps and replacing them with fewer, and really bland (visually and gameplay), ones.
I do like the new gun sounds more. They are definitively much more substantial sounding with good bass. The old sounds are really flat in comparison. I remember when the new sounds were released I went into a private match with my friend's T92 to listen to it - it sounds significantly better now than it did before.
T110E5 isn't broken now either. It's actually pretty irrelevant now when things like the Super Conqueror exist that can literally do everything an E5 can do better

I don't know... There were some really stupid strategies in the Waffle back in the days, for example shooting the track off someone in an elevated position and the proceed to delete them from the game. And what about the hills in El Hallouf? Every single battle there was a waffle camping, the second you got spotted he would kill you before you even could get out.

That thing was amazing. It didn't fit the line and probably needed to be removed, but the Bulldog has needed a serious buff ever since it went away.
I never thought that thing was that bad TBH, I always thought the T71 (pre light tank rebalancing) was probably more OP in general that the bulldog with the autoloader.

This was one of my favorite maps in the game, there are a lot of good maps that wargaming removed. I think it would be more fun with more maps rather than more premium tanks. Now it feels like you always play in the same 5 maps day after day and it gets a bit boring. At least that is how I feel.
Remember when the only T10 tanks were Heavies and Meds/TDs only got up to T9 and Arties were at T8? Talk about good times...

Pick up console and you can see for yourself. The WT auf E-100 still exists on there and while you're partially right, it doesn't change the fact that it can still dish out ridiculous damage against those tanks that you consider counters to it. The issue with this tank is that it rewards bad behavior by giving you enough firepower and a quick enough reload between shells in a clip to basically compensate for any mistakes you may make, which means this thing can actually rush the tanks you mentioned and still get away with it more often than not.
We can argue the balanced side of this tank all day, but at the end of the day, it comes down to whether or not those disadvantages justify the outstanding firepower and ability to fight its way out of almost any situation when in possession of a full clip. What this tank is capable of doing with a full clip far outweighs the things it's competitors can do to it in that same amount of time. Shutting down a WT basically boils down to luck more often than it comes down to skill, which is not at all the kind of mechanic we need more of. Sure, a lot of the heavy hitting tanks can almost one-shot this thing, but in a game with such heavy RNG, the risk of missing is pretty significant and while you only get one shot, the WT gets several to make up for it.
Trust me, it's still pretty broken even in a relatively up-to-date meta.
They're not as scary as they used to be, sure, but that's just because we got used to dealing with them, but whenever you actually look at what this thing brings to the table, there is no denying that it is legitimately more powerful than it has any right to be.

I got some Kolobanovs, but now I think I won't be able to get any other of them... If I could win a Kolobanow, It would feel like getting a Raisieniai heroes (which I never got, not even the pool medal).
Also some rare medals like billotte, bruno and Tarczay are completely impossible to get, not because it's impossible to kill 2+ ta ks while having less than 20% of your HP and 5+ critical damages... It's because you can cicle the repair kits and get rid of the critical damages, so you would do kills with less than 20% of your HP, but without the 5+ critical damages needed to make those kills count for this awesome elic medals...

@@uzbagoitel7777 gj, but with the possibility to repair critical damages and heal crew members every 90 seconds the chanches to get one of this 3 medals is incredibly low. The 5+ kills one and the Rajseniay (?) hero are the 2 hardest medals of the game, probably the 5+ kills with 20% health or less and 5 or more critical damages is the hardest medal of the game, because one time (or maybe 2 times) i've seen someone get the 14+ kills medal, but it was with a tier 3 tank (a pz1c) two years ago... I've also seen an enemy get the billotte, but only 1 time (maybe it happened more times, but i've seen it only 1)
I remember Cironflexes going out with only HE in this thing and obliterating the enemy.
The T-127 used to be just this dominant at tier 3. If you platooned with them, it was almost impossible to lose a seal clubbing expedition.

Yep, absolutely. I'd even go for an earlier version, right when they introduced french tanks maybe, 7.2 or something. The game was a lot of fun back then and gameplay worked well. And they still had all the great maps in game. Guess I'd even start playing again.

BRINGBACKTHISMAP2k19 AGAIN. I had my most awesome battles with heavies on this map its much more balanced then maps like Ensk,Erlenberg and the new Great Wall map which we get contantly.

Its not balanced, Console Devs have no desire to approach anything close to a balance. They have to protect their tank destroyer snowflakes at all costs. Thats why they refuse to nerf any of them despite having the best of everything at every fucking tier. ✌️👌
On my side, when a WT, object, fv and shitbarn appears in front of them, every gun will be pointing at them.

I guess at least this thing kills you quicker, then usually dies for it as your entire team drop what ever they were doing to desperately unload all of their HE shells they load specifically for this tank and it's lower tier counterparts into it's turret. Which BTW is why it's OP, I specifically started to balance more HE into my loadouts just to be able to punish these things and farm the borsig and WT tier 9 and I know I'm not the only one. Whether you got clipped by them every game or farmed them up and only died every now and again to them, they were one of the focus tanks, you get into a tier 10 game you check for one on the team list, you probably consider it as you are deciding where to go and if you didn't you quite possibly die for it.
I remember fighting these things in my tier 7 scouts and tier 8 heavies, and still never felt like I was useless against one, they where an ez pen with literally every gun in the game. The 12.8 was not big enough to triple overmatch most tier 8 heavies, so angling could still work, and the 150cm had pretty bad pen on it, so it felt like you where just fighting a heavy with no turret armor. It had worse camo then even shit like the maus, so you could actually outspot it, or atleast spot it around the same time. It was powerful, but its weaknesses where plenty and easy to exploit.

I totally agree. I played an extreme amount of WOT back then, not now. I never minded this tank, as I never saw it, I had a lot of fun in my lights, and enjoyed the random MM and how arty worked.
Tanks had weak spots, not so much gold was used or required. Maps were fun in their unbalanced way. Everything is too tuned for the same battles now.
Really can't argue expect I had a wtauf E100 and loved it it was a blast to play and honestly I felt like you had some games where you got focused by everything and just completely steamrolled and then I had games that I swear I was invisible it seemed well balanced with the exception of the turret being about to rotate 360 it should only have been able to turn 90-120 degrees and then wg decides to remove it and instead of just removing it they took it from the players that already had it which was bull shit

@@TobyA777 I used to love World of Tanks back in 2013. Since like 1.0 I never played it again. It was just not the same anymore. I quit World of Tanks in late 2013 and started playing World of Tanks Blitz in mid 2017. Way better game in my opinion :D
OMG I thank the lord that I took a hiatus during this time. Just restarted about 6 months ago. From what I have seen it went from 1 horribly OP tank to like 9 Near OP tanks that are premium and keep getting buffed.

WTs are really not that op lol if I get caught out yes they do hurt but I never really had any issues with them. Most WTs die well before they do any real damage. If one is spotted I normally focus them because they have no armor and it's easy damage... even better when I'm firing HE in my deathstar xD
Personally never had a WT and it's pretty low on my list of vehicles to get.
Today even the strongest version of the WT auf E 100 would have to deal with all sorts of problems, like tanks with 6Km armor and artys that can stun tanks indefinitely.
Also even if sometimes you can still either win or lose a battle with a score of 15 to 0, players simply have a lot more experience and would aim for the turret with HE, or just load premium ammo because they are so overused now, or just angle tanks much better and try to bounce him.
Also tanks like Type 5 Heawy or the obj 264 can potentially bounce his shells and now when you have a 6 vs 1 battle most teams won't rush an OP tank one by one, but all together... At least the 90% of the teams I had, going 1 by 1 doesn't happen that much now.
Also the low speed of the WT auf E 100 makes him a perfect target for artys: "Hey, I'm an ultra OP tank with 0 turret armor and the speed of an AMX 40, aim at me and I won't be able to dodge a single shell"!

@@marcohueber2713 Well like you said most people on console know about the weak turret and the turret is huge therfore most cover is useless. So as soon as it pops up someone marks it and most won't even get their first magazine off. If they do then they have to deal with assholes like me in my 430u just rushing them because I know I have about an hour to get there and put some rounds in lol.

You always say that some tanks were "broken" back in the days, but ... , for me, i really enjoy more WoT in the past. Yes, sure, u get 1 shot by T 92 and killed in 1 clip by WT E100, but it was freaking fun, it brings to the game that diversity you always talk about. U get scared when u see on the battlefield an WT E100, but this makes you play more safe and in my opinion ... play better, more focused. I really hope they will bring this tank back (with 5 shells in magazine, not 6), and make arti the same again. I really miss that arti, i really do. When they nerf arti, for me was the point when i start to play a LOT less, and play without a premium account. Also, arti have a fighting chance when in the end a tank with full HP come to kill you, just load AP and wait, hoping for a penetrating shot. Now you just wait to die when you will see that he come for you, no chance to kill him.

1 shotting IS3's with my M53/55 AP shells were the absolute blast. Loved running AP the whole game and getting that sweet side or through the engine shot. Nowadays the game is bland and lifeless stalemates where people don't want to get hit and run gold shells due to lack of skill.

Wouldn't be playable without some serious work. With arty having huge splash damage/radius now, those narrow chokepoints would be impassable. Arty would have a field day and people would cry even harder. At least back then, arty needed to get a direct hit to do any significant damage

I agree with the list that you said. However I think the 268 v4 before it’s nerf should be on that list as well as the untouched obj 430u. The armour on that med is just too good and it’s mobility is crazy. Nerf that, and I think the leopard gets a passive buff. Oh and pz 2 j unless an m8a1 pops out in front of you. M8 has like 100 pen on a teir 4

On the console version of World of Tanks, the WT auf E 100 is still present although I never tried it, and many of the maps and tanks that were removed from the PC version are still playable. Pearl River is there and the Aufl Panther and E 25, those that were mentioned by Vlad Drakul are there too
Ah I remember this tank. I wouldn't call it overpowered since it had weaknesses and counters, but it was very strong for its main gimmick thats for sure.

I want this vehicle back in the game! The current version is still the most dangerous TD but it's far less powerful than it was at the start. If they nerf it even more it would be a great German tier 10 TD.

Some tanks may have been broken but a fully aimed shot would almost always hit dead center, arty was annoying but there was no stun mechanic which is a pain in the ass. I never really minded the matchmaking back then, it was pretty random which made it intriguing. Now when I hit "Battle" with my tier 8 tank I know exactly what's going to happen: I'm going to be one of seven tier 8 tanks on my team with the other five tanks being tier 9 and three tier 10s. There's always going to be 3 artillery pieces per team and they are always going to focus me because I'm one of the green ones in a team full of tomatoes.
Stun duration and damage reduced. One arty per game mid or low tier. Really think this will work.
@@ronmathewjoe i think the better path is removing/reducing stun to no longer than maybe 5 seconds, keeping the damage the same but giving back some of their PEN. so you actually want to aim at tanks properly to do more damage. or give them back ap shells. i miss my 261 ap shells.

Yes, more pen, or ap shells would be a good idea. No corresponding increase in damage though. Arty players may not like it but they've got to realize that their tank class is a support role. The ones that lend you the occasional helping hand, balances the op tanks a bit maybe, not the frustrating presence that will infuriate you constantly throughout the game.

We have both the Grille 15 and the WT from the WT pnzr IV, the conqueror leads on the the fv, super conq, and Chieftain, and we’ll be getting the badger along with already having the 183 as they moved the British mediums to make room for it.
I play a lot of tier 10 now because I’m trying to earn some mercenary tanks and I like tier 10 (I also think you should check out mercenaries if you don’t know what I’m talking about) and I don’t really see that many WTs on the battlefield. In my m48a5, I bounce those 128mm shells all the time and put HE in their turret, but sometimes they do pop out and catch you with your pants down and make you feel really silly.
I think, that if WG brought it back, that they should just do something about the unload speed. I think that’s part of the reason of why it’s so good, and the awesome aim time that it has, so if they left the magazine the same but made it unload the same speed, if not slower than something like a Kranvagn with 3 seconds of intra-clip reload and make it to where the aim time is so long that going full auto means you can’t fully aim your shots (kind of like how the Matilda simply shoots faster than it aims)
Both of those nerfs I think would make the tank not toxic for the match maker, even if it had the 6 round magazine
In my opinion the console is way better, im still new to world of tanks, but when i played the two versions, the pc, and ps4 versions are way different from eachother, the pc is more a pay to win game, and War gaming doesn't seem to care about the players as much as how they are getting money, im playing the pc version because my ps4 isn't with me i gave it to my brother from like 2 months, and when he get it back i will play the console version again, because im really done from the pc version it sucks.
I play console and the wt e 100 needs to be removed, the point of the grille 15 was to have balanced replacement

As many people have stated, this TD is still on console. I rarely see it played well though. The maps on console just seems smaller with less bushes to hide behind. This TD gets countered easily on console. But this TD is somewhat needed to counter all the new tanks with crazy frontal armor, if it survives long enough to even reload after dumping the first magazine.
Remember “The Last Waffentrager”? That was pretty fun cuz it was PvP

No. Everyone was supposed to load HE and the WT-E100s would spend the rest of the game fixing their guns. I slauthered these things with my VK28 while fail platooning.

So I'm delighted you used to farm them in fail platoons but they were still fucking OP because it was practically impossible, in a situation like the one here, to kill it faster than it could unload, so fuckers just died to it.

QB - I respectfully disagree with your premise that the WT-AUF E100 was the most overpowered tank in the game. As some have previously mentioned the Obj268-4 is a much more dangerous tank frontally than the WT. The game you have shown us is also a great example of quite the opposite of your point. Although there were two of what you called most powerful tanks platooned in this matchup, the team was down the entire game with one WT left against 5 tanks. The player's skill at the and, and perhaps a little luck, cannot be an example of how overpowered the tank itself is or isn't. I am disappointed that WOT removed this tank from the game yet left other autoloaders, such as the French artillery B-C 155 58, the T57 heavy, or the B-C25t not to mention WOT added other autoloaders to the game that some may perceive not balanced/fair. I'm getting more and more frustrated with WOT MM and RNG each day and can quite frankly say that your videos are probably the only thing that keeps me playing WOT. Keep them coming!
