Good video, thanks for sharing, but lacking info about the most critical parts, such as those different plastic wheels that have to be made individually. From the USA Amazon, the total cost of parts is about 150.00 US$ which brings me close to the price of already assembled rope walks... Anyhow, interesting approach.. Cheers

Автор просто забыл сделать паразитные шестерни! Нити должны закручиваться в сторону, противоположную свивке каната! Не беда, канеш, что он состряпал ерунду, но... беда, что теперь он ещё и навешал этой лапши на уши тысяче с лишним человек, "лайкнувших" это недоразумение!
Wow awesome I love it but I have a suggestion I seen it on another Rope making tutorial and if the two would be combine it would be super, first of all yours is easier to make. But what I notice was I seen a few knots building up and it's because you crank it to slow sometimes so I think that instead of the motor be on that end it should be on the other side cranking, pulling and whining the rope. here check out what I mean. ruclips.net/video/1Ld2w3nehXs/видео.html
do you know the original creator? i have some questions about the design decisions in regards to the two rope holders that hold the strings after they exit the rotating wheels, precisely why there are two instead of just one
