There were no grounds for impeachment. Not liking how someone does their job is not grounds for impeachment. Arrests and apprehensions have never stopped at the border, but the GOP love to scare the easily frightened. The people of TX are going about their lives as they always have. No one is preventing them from going to work, going to school, going out to eat, or going shopping, etc. No one is preventing tourists from doing tourist stuff. If there really were an "invasion" regular daily life wouldn't be happening. Yet you keep falling for the election year scare tactics.

The Senate DECIDED the hear both of tRumps "High Crimes and Misdemeanor" cases based on merit.
According to Constitutional Scholars, matters of policy do not rise to the level of "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" so the Senate voted to dismiss this case as a total waste of time.

Actually, the Senate are following the Constitution, something the House did not do. The House found zero evidence of high crimes or misdemeanors but went ahead with their election year performance in fear mongering. At least the Senate uphold the laws.

There is a major flaw in the system. The balance of power doesn’t operate correctly. I fear for the likely threat to the security of the homeland secretary and the democratic senate leader. If the people feel power is corrupt, history advises well on what is likely.
The most disheartening aspect is the feeling that voting is the only significant contribution I can make, coupled with a lack of confidence shared by many that our votes are accurately tallied or that the electoral system is trustworthy.
