Hey Sergio, Thanks for helping organize the event. It was nice to meet Jeremy and get some time to talk with him about rideshare. Glad he was able to take some time at the event to listen to drivers concerns and ideas. I know many of us drivers expect more from all the rideshare apps ( AND SHOULD) but at least they were willing to meet with any drivers that showed up.I appreciate the extra money they will now add on for trips that go over the estimated destination point. Its a start. We need to start somewhere.
Mixed bag event to be sure. On the one hand I agree with Sergio that the added time or distance change on Lyft is a very welcome and good addition. It adds A LOT of comfort regarding changes made in a trip from traffic or changes by a customer. Uber's additions in this regard just are not as good. I also agree with Sergio that being present to take questions like Jeremy did is a very good thing. However, how is it that us van drivers still have no word about getting dropped from Extra Comfort? You can bet your bottom dollar I would have asked Jeremy this. Also, $2 cancel fee? There's too many SERIOUS issues that Lyft still needs to address before I would fully endorse the attitude about all this. I do give kudos to Sergio for using the phrase "....decline and recline...." in the video. One of my favorite moments from the video. 🙂
I missed the lyft event. I want lyft stuff. When & where is the next event? I have been driving for lyft for one year now. I need to talk to someone in person to reimburse me the $200 I spent detailing, cleaning, disinfecting and removing that nasty smell from my car after a drunk girl I picked up from the Abbey vomited all over my back seat and door on April 6th. Lyft people I spoke to over the phone refuse to pay me back. I want my money!!!!

I gotta say, I'm a big ol F Lyft and Uber. Jeremy gave me his undivided attention, listened, asked great questions and took my info. He already fixed 1 issue I was having. Uber was invited and didn't show up. Lyft did. Most of the nasty, chain smoking pig pen folks made me never want to do an LAX trip. Stunned to learn how much CA charges rideshare companies and how much insurance they must carry. I verified it and dug into the facts today. Great trunk bag - not cheap as expected. Good tumbler. All else was hijacked by pig pen folks. Jeremy is new, has driven for Lyft and acknowledged the short falls. Sergio was the star there;) Talked to everyone. Gave great advise. Well worth the 2 hour drive.

You might be right Sergio, we need to make at least 100 rides a week with both Uber and Lyft to barely make a living with their low fares, on the other hand with Fare co-op paying $300.00 dollars upfront might seem peanuts and no need to make 100 rides a week have to get a way better pay and making a better living with a lot better pay.
It was very inconsiderate for lyft to have a dunk tank for drivers . Seeing excutives throwing balls while laughing to "dunk a lyft driver" pissed me off 😡
