- Stitch, wool and knitting shop featured on RTE's Capital D program. Stitch is a place to sit, knit and relax with a good old-fashioned cup of tea and a chat. Co-owners and twin sisters Frances Dalton and Teresa McCormac are giving knitting a modern makeover, reviving this wonderful craft and passing their skill on to a new wave of knitters.
Knitting and crochet is such fun especially with friends and the opportunity of making new ones. Love it! Wonderful video!
I just found this 12 year old video. Please make more! There is no such thing as too many knit or crochet videos. We'd like to meet your patrons and their projects
Well now I want to move to Ireland just so I can come to your shop for tea and refine my flawed versions of knitwear. Looks like a lot of fun ladies. Well done!
I wish we had such a shop as this where I live..so soothing an atmosphere, brilliant way to find a peaceful oasis in this hectic world.
We have a shop in Canada called Village Lain in Pickering where we can have a cuppa and knit..its catching on as a business..beautiful ladies!
I liked the video myself, I thought it was refreshing. I wish I lived in Ireland and could visit that little shop.😃
Wow I wish Stitch was in my town!
Very good. Well done!
Me too! I wish you were near my home too in England so I could visit your beautiful shop! Thank you for sharing!

Hello, I am brand spanking new to knitting. I just can not grasp knitting styles at all even the casting on. I know there many different cast ons but know one explains what they are for.
This is I believe why, I am a cro het but I do it right handed. I am left handed by nature, but my grandmother wasn't therefore she taught me right handed.
I have tried doing knitting right handed but it's not working. I have been told knitting is done with both hands. I am just not grasping it. Till... I see what you are doing.
I am going to give it a try. Question, how do I cast on and what patterns do you recommend.
Also, do you have a website so I can shop in your store.
Thank you from your twistedhands..
I recommend she watch the raspberry podcast, she is 14 . She knits everything and dyes yarn. Hey Lady check out Ravelry thousands on that site daily, nightly around the clock.
What does she say at 3:52? "You have to... or they don't let you back in."
DCFunBud she said “you have to finish somethin or they won’t let you back in”
Thanks for the translation!
