Yeah. The TL;DR for why is that re-doing the VO for an older video of mine is quick and easy to do, which gives me time to edit longer videos, or organise sponsors, or write longer scripts, etc. It also had like 800 views lmao
@@htwo1it only just came in my recommended today despite having been subbed to you before this came out... But I shall agree with this sentiment 2 months later
this tier system reminds me of the difficulty system in trials where there are regular difficulty trials tracks (beginner all the way to extreme) and they're like normal. but the highest difficulty tracks, ninja tracks, differ so much in difficulty that they're ranked from 1 to 10. 1 is the lowest ranking requiring only mastery of relatively basic maneuvers like bunny hops, fender catches, and the like. 10 is the highest ranking and is the pinnacle of trials mastery in everything (look it up it's pretty cool).
I like playing jump map, even though I can barely pass tier 2, or tier 3, or tier 1, idk. Also in previous TF2's source code leak, it appears that Valve planned to add jump map in practice mode, though it's only tier 1. It was later scrapped and never been seen again until recently, this can be seen as no text on the tip panel and replaced with template.
the jump tutorial was really bad anyway, it wasn't even balanced around crouch jumping so might be for the best that it's left to the community to teach
At 15:10, it was leading up to the super dramatic part of Con Lentitud Poderosa (the song that was playing), and then right as it would've hit, you introduced something. I was so ready for the dramatic introduction cause of the music, but it just stopped. Sad day. Otherwise, this video's been super interesting and informative, and I like the background music too. Thanks for making it.
Cool video! Bit of unsolicited feedback for future interviews: I was struggling to hear parts of False's replies to your questions because you would start talking over him when he was responding. That's more acceptable in every-day conversations, but for interviews I think that it creates a better listener experience when the interviewer is silent while the guest is speaking. Apologies if others have given this feedback already. I don't mean to pile on. I also see this is a re-upload. Great work! You're an excellent creator.
i dont really like jump maps: a good platformer needs dynamic movement AND dynamic environments. think of titanfalls wallrunning above and under killzones
Older maps used to have some semi-dynamic environments, but jumpers usually aren't a fan of landing/pogoing/jumping on moving platforms, nor shooting targets to open doors. You don't see these things, anymore.
reupload?
Yeah.

@@ixam338 Ey thanks, I'm hoping it'll pop off because the world needs to see more jump.
Also congrats on tempus mod!

Nah sentry jump is the best and most useful💯💯💯
Exactly
.
Wins games for me all the time
If you're crazy enough you can hit sync rocket packs with the wrangler and rescue ranger on quad/quint jumps with a large enough floor
Agree, for pogo parts I enjoy, you need to sentry jump and place a dispenser to land on.
