Went thru JM school as a 2LT in 1977 in Alaska with a MTT...bit of extra stress with a "almost" jump refusal from my CH-47 in-flight test putting two jumpers out. Some AF LNO O-4 in the first position started backing up instead of walking off the ramp when I said GO; thank goodness the warrant officer rigger in the #2 position looked me in the eye and put his shoulder into the chute of the major and basically pushed him off the ramp...I passed. JMPI was a significant emotional event and it was a great feeling to pass and then go on to JM and safety for real.
Just passed JMPI on my 4th attempt, thank God I maintained re-entry! Future students be sure to come prepared and do everything you can to keep an 80% academic average to maximize your chances for success
That’s because they didn’t really give us any pointers in the course. It really goes across the entire spectrum of the book. But as you’re reading the book, the questions are over things that are pretty obviously testable questions. How many lights are in the aircraft, the whole bit of information on Adep option 1 and all that. Jumping in tow restrictions, how many jumpers can fit in each aircraft, stuff like that. It’s hard to narrow in on because really the test covers the whole book.
@@NemeanIndustries sweet appreciate the quick response and yeah i figure its why i created over 300 flashcards and highlighted what was covered multiple times in class and whats in bold in the studyguide. Study those ones alittle harder and touch up on all the other flashcards. Thank you again hope i get an 80% or higher. My school is alittle different then yours we knocked out nomenclature, prejump and we just knocked out the safety exam yesterday. Tuesday is the written exam follow by JMPI circles until JMPI testing then were doing PWAC when ever they can receive a C130 hercules. So we might have to wait till mid july for that smh

@@joshuaborrero6626 well good luck! That written test is stressful, I think I passed with an 82%. But you’re doing the right stuff to be successful!
