- Underwater combat was one of the first thing I wanted to experience in an older MH game but Dire Miralis was the 2nd! i really hope this guy comes back one day revamp of course
Игры
His intro, his roar, his enrage, his armor mode, his theme, that thumbnail art, all of it is so so perfect but alas, water combat is something even the black dragons can be held back by 😔
W comment
I really hope he comes back in wilds🤞🏻
Same here! Just underwater in general would be great a revamped version of it of course
I also hope Ahtal-Ka returns too since we fought him in the desert in Generations Ultimate.
My thought is that if White Fatalis is an ancient Black Fatalis, Dire Miralis is an ancient Crimson Fatalis - one so utterly consumed by its rage and hatred for all things other than itself that its own internal reactor started going out of control, forcing it to take to the water to stay alive. Of course, it boiled the water as a result, creating the Tainted Sea.
My thought is that the Dire Miralis we fight is an ancient Dire Miralis, and that young Dire Miralis are the same but smaller
Really I actually was thinking the thing looks like zora magdoros
@@redeyesblackduelist6248so dumb
@@redeyesblackduelist6248 nah zorah magdaros is the one who looks like him
No they’re just relatives
The only mainline series First class dangerous monster that never appears again since the game it debuts in, until Safi'Jiiva
Something that would be “cool” would be a Dire Miralis subspecies that has liquid nitrogen flowing through its veins instead of molten rock, and lives in only the hottest environments like volcanic and perhaps desert environments so that it doesn’t freeze
i've always felt as if dire miralis was a part or a sub species of the fatalis trio because it has similar stance and attack move set, not to mention its' destructive capabilities
Definitely a close relative i would assume
Miralis, Fatalis sounds so similar too can't be a coincidence
Thats because in the lore, Dire is the reincarnation of Fatalis.
Dire miralis fait partir du trio des dragon noirs ( fatalis, alatreon, dire miralis)
@@mathis7550 Oui, lui et Alatreon fond partie du même jeu aussi et bien la meme Generation
At first glance, because I was introduced to Monster Hunter through World, I thought Miralis was related to Zora
The epitome of "hit the glowing spot".
Ah good old dire miralis honestly he was the closest I had gotten to a fatalis fight before mh4u though only differences between him and fatalis is he much bigger slower fights underwater half the time and was a walking volcano were fatalis was classic western style dragon 😂
I hope for Monster Hunter Wilds..
This monster is in my top 5 list of monsters who are conceptually really cool and if they were modernized would be peak fights
Anyway here’s the list
1: white fatalis
Strongest monster, and is a tier above even fatalis himself, honestly they could literally give this monster any attack that fits in the area he’s in and I wouldn’t be surprised, also his design + theme are really cool
2: dire miralis (love that name)
This monster has the biggest feats in all of monster hunter which are - *boiling an entire ocean just by existing in it* and *sinking damn islands*
Honestly if the mh team didn’t say that fatalis is the strongest monster then this guy would be (he’s also really cool)
3: dalamadur
Not only is this the longest, and maybe heaviest monster in monster hunter, but he also has blue fire breath and digs through mountains
Just thinking about what his moveset could be like in 6th gen made me zone out while typing this comment
4: ceadeus
In the game he was in, all he could do was flail around and shoot a water beam which was cool and all, but considering he’s so strong he can cause islands to shake by hitting them, I think he could do a LOT more with his moveset
5: Yama tsukami
“Doesn’t he have like, 3 moves?”
“Yup”
“But, I thought he eats forests, has one on his back, and can float”
“Yup”
And that’s all that needs to be said for Yama
Edit: huh, dire has my favorite roar now, never actually heard it clearly until today
I've never actually beaten this mf b4, planning on doing it when I get back to replaying this game🔥
You got this!! He's not particularly hard he just hits very hard and is a very very long fight 😅 hope he comes back eventually with a revamp fight!
Capcom, re-introduce underwater in MH6 please!!
Capcom re-introduces slime and it's as busted as it was 😂
Man, Underwater hunts for MH6 would be a dream come true
@@mfzerkk With an underwater Namielle and Alatreon fight 🙏
Hello fellow underwater enjoyers. I thought I was alone in this world
Oh the nostalgia.
It looks like he's in sunbreak
That's what I thought lol
Yeah the recent hd patch of the emulator makes the graphics crispy as hell 😂
@@XioN_Undeadwhat emulator is it?
i am using Cemu it's a Wii U Emulator@@Roobiedoobiedoo
Dire Miralis: Is shooting molten hot boulders into the ocean that is infernal body is residing it.
Hunter: "Come on in guys, the water's fine!"
Hunters in MH are just built different
I still find it kind of goofy how it's clearly the Fatalis skeleton that's being used because of how the solid stone tubes on its back stretch like soft wings during certain animations.
Yeah it is the same skeleton even the name is similar Fatalis, Miralis. A lot of people suspect they are from the same Family or smt which i can see it lol but yeah
@@XioN_Undead they are officially related. They're in the Origin Dragon suborder. Still funny they didn't bother removing some of the wing bones in the animation data for Miralis though. Makes me wonder if Nergigante has some hidden hands in its wings or Magnamalo's got some invisible wings since both use the Magala skeleton.
This cutscene made me thinking how on earth are we gonna kill this thing if they really exist in our reality LOL. The hunter is just an ordinary people with no superhuman abilities but managed to kill a monster like an elder dragon. Fck i'm legitimately trying to make a sense. The only monster we could somehow kill is the great jagras and another level 2-3 stars monsters. An elder dragon is out of the question. We might be able to kill one with a nuclear weapon but the price is too steep
I totally agree lol in lore however they did say that the Hunter is as strong as like the Hulk without the growing in power infinitely obviously lol which makes sense to why they're able to wield something like the greatsword with ease . I don't remember where i read that but i need to try and find it again.
And then you take something like Fatalis by lore this thing does not die it always comes back via a hunter wearing it's armor making them the next Fatalis MH lore is at times very understandable to something extremely pure fiction and dark as hell and i like it haha
Couldve sworn in the game it states that the hunter has wyvern blood @@XioN_Undead
@@NiicoStarz There's still so much we don't know yet there's like so many games haha and you're probably right i just never read on it
It could potentially be a ancient crimson fatalis.Considering the fact is uses many moves a fatalis is capable of doing. It’s body build even shows how incredibly resemblant Dire miralis is compared to fatalis.
Is it okay if I use a clip from this for a video I'm making about Monster Hunter Rise? It would only be for a few seconds while I mention underwater combat.
Yeah sure man go ahead :) hope your video does great!
Imagine him having World Fatalis's mobility...
Makes me wonder why can't we have this in sunbreak
Obviously because Sunbreak doesn't have underwater combat
How does he not knock himself out with 1 of those rocks he randomly shoots out
What is your set?
Sorry for the very late reply lol
But this ain't a specific armor set it's a mix set, back then you couldn't fashion like the newest monster hunter games so you had to decide between looking good with bad skills or looking weird with great skills i went the "looking weird with good skills" 😅
