Just finished printing all the parts, everything was quite easy to print with exception of the main left and right body, took ages to remove the supports and think I damaged one of them in the process so may have to give it another try.
How did you print these any slicer settings would be appreciated and I use both Cura or simplfy3d.

Ayo broski, I made an arbor .3mf so you can just wind your own springs!
I tightened up the diameter and would **REALLY** advise a thicker wire diameter like 0.6-0.75mm + needle filework bc the mech loves to stick on return.

This is great, but maybe a version where the trigger doesn't reload.
instead of screwing, could I just use a soldering iron or a 3d pen to bind the pieces?

Absolutely, if you find this on makerworld you can see I group all parts of the same colour on plates
Hey mate, I am currently printing this model on my Ender 3 V2, everything is going smoothly with the exception of the main body pieces. The Main Body 235 pieces are still too large to print on 235x235 build plates. Will you be updating these? Would love to finish the build.
Hey, you just need to rotate it on the plate by about 40 degrees and it will fit
@@gmanprojects that is a lot of filament wasted in support material, I'll continue to look into optimizing those pieces. But you did an amazing job on this model. Will look forward to future ones
I mean keep it flat but rotate it on the z axis, it should fit diagonally on the bed?
@@gmanprojects it sadly will not, I've tried orientating it flat at all types of angles and it doesn't fit
I'm baffled, I've tested it in a slicer on a 235 bed and it fits with decent space around it at about 40 degrees. Are you sure your slicer bed is set to 235*235 and not 220?
haven't seen anyone else talk about this but it seems the site you linked is down. i really want to print this and it would make my day if you could find some way to link the files for me and everyone else who might be having this issue.

Thanks! The screws are pretty common, just No.6 self tapping flanged screws, 5/8 inch and 3/8 inch, I usually just get mine from various stores on eBay :)

what if you make it so instead of the cylinder going out on a hinge the front of the gun locks it into place so the cylinder can be completely removed like in game

@@chiduhasian Unfortunately not. I ultimately got the files but they were too big for my printer, so I just gave up on the project and bought myself one for $20 off Amazon.

I was wondering if by any chance you take commissions? I really love what you did, especially adding the mechanical touch to it. However, I was wondering if I could commission you and talk about pricing for the making of the Thermal Rise version of the Wingman. The model is really similar with most of the body being identical to the stock Wingman besides the "cooling fins" by the barrel and that it says Thermal Rise on the revolver part instead of Wingman. Either way, I'd be super interested in commissioning you if you're interested (:

Once I download and put into cura do I have to upscale or downscale anything? Or just leave everything as is?
everything is the correct size and orientation (with the exception of main_body_full_l, I still need to fix that), it is recommended to combine a lot of the same colour bits as 1 print. All bronze parts can be printed in 1 go for example, same with most of the internal mechanical bits.
So can I like pay you to make this for me? I dont have a 3d printer at home so I'm litterally willing to pay for 1
At 15:39, does the gun hammer piece not need to be screwed in? It looks like the left main body needs to be removed first because it has a screw hole.
Also, cant seem to get my silver filament to print the left and right panels. I might try normal grey instead of the silk silver. And I am getting some binding when fully assembled.

Its the 235 vs full versions. Thats why.
Hey, I guess you are the guy who posted the remix? Thanks :) To be honest I probably need to do a V2 of this video since the design has changed a bit since then, especially with the addition of the 235 version. Also I personally don't recommend any silk filament for anything, especially mechanical.
@@gmanprojects I reprinted some of the silver pieces in blue and they printed perfectly. Something about my silver filament and those wall angles that it just didnt like. But it came out great. Thanks for the design! Flatline next? :)
hey boss man, i know that is on gcodehub, but i bought it and it wont let me download the stl files, only the gcode files. can you private message me the files, ill give you proof i bought it. i just cant print the files because they are poorly optimized for my printer

Hey, I'm in the midst of printing this, but I have a small bed printer. Ran into an issue, the back piece of the gun's screw hole notch does not line up with the body part notch that corresponds. I double checked with the correct pieces in my slicer and it's way too far forward in the small bed body left side. Any chance you can change where the hole is on the back piece for small print beds?
