A balancer install tool, would of been the correct way to install balancer. You probably pulled the threads on end of crank, impact it on. But I liked the video👩🔧
If you ask me looks like a happy dyno giving numbers that you usually don't see from ls1 unless they have otrs and full exhaust system with a decent tune. I don't see many mods on that Ute. Regular old intake too
Sounds like a full exhaust. Plus it has some form of growler/big mouth/ss induction intake on it. It’s just connected to the stock air box which isn’t that restrictive.
Hell yeah ! Stock factory LS engines can be bored+stroked to alittle over 7.0L ie 427ci. With 243 heads & big cam means huge hp & torque. This is how they created the LS7. If you prefer a cast iron block the setup is called LSA. There are commodores at Calder park dragway pulling 10 second quarter miles. Dont forget there's nitros injection & twin turbo setups for more power. RUclips "Hellcat Killer? - LS1 on the DYNO on NITROUS", one of my favourite clips ever. 730hp & 752ft/lbs torque. AMAZING!
@@4sale663 boring a factory ls block to 427 would be silly. It wouldnt last like that. The ls7 block uses a few tricks to get its 427 cubes from a smallblock size. Ls7 is a special block and the other ls blocks are not like it, nor are any other ls heads. And 243s on anything over 400 cubes is a bit of a waste, needs rec port heads at that point.
@@swappedoutZ71 that is right, aside from re-sleeving the blocks to accept a bore needed to have the displacement of that size the cathedral heads would limit flow. There is a reason why GM chose to have a custom block for the 427 on the CXR corvettes rather than using the LS7. Big displacement does not happen cheap without sacrificing reliability.
this to me seems like the same thing as what solid roller lifters do for an engine over hydraulic roller lifters, allows engine to maintain hp at higher rpm due to lighter compoents
+Andres Vera That's 10rwkw, 13.5rwhp. The ute has effectively gone from 316rwhp to 330rwhp plus the increase engine revving response helping first gear acceleration.
the only better bang:buck is to go forced induction. unless you're considering a cheap chinese turbo setup (and theres nothing wrong with that, mind you) then this is a reasonable price for 10 rwhp.
Sean Barmettler yeah, 5 grand compared to 200$, but if all the bolt ons are done at once on an ls1 the before and after difference is night and day lol
bought a kit for my ve!! cant wait till i install it
I sell them on ebay and have for years. Top product well worth the money.

14whp not too shabby.
There is a coolant drain tap hey.
With the underdrive kits do u need to pin the harmonic balancer as the keyway on the pulley has nothing to lock too?
how much do you sell them for? i need a set for my 2001 ss but idk if i should get a whole set or just the underdrive
do you really need to remove the radiator to do this?

joshua R they usually spin up 170-180rwkw stock.

Did u need to put a keystone in the balancer?
Not needed
Hey, what is that and where can I get that tool to remove the Harmonic balancer?
10kw from a UDB,that's alright.I didn't know they freed up that much.
Would you expect more than 10kw if you had head and cam done on the car??

@@swappedoutZ71 Thanks for ellaborating that

Why tf did he dump all the coolant in the engine bay lmao
fuck yeh, im buying one now after all the bullshit forum talk heres the proof

Looks like alot of money on labor for 10 rwhp but okay

Andres Vera you need professionals to put pullies on for you? Lol
yeah thats what i thought bud....like whoopee do.
