Hey nice video. I’ve recently done some upgrades to my 05 gto. I did 1 7/8 long tubes. Cat delete with 3 inch exhaust through magnaflows. A one piece drive shaft. New timing chain and gear. I did a dyno tune and I’m putting down 350 hp and 365 ft lbs of tq. It’s an automatic. I want to do some sort of intake and cam upgrade but I’m still researching stuff. How is this setup you’ve done running so far ?
It runs just fine but I've never had it dyno'd or anything. Now that the major supporting mods are done I have been planning on doing heads and cam next. Probably get it dyno'd at that point and see where I'm at. I'd probably be happy with 400 to the wheels tbh
@@evsnova74 thanks. Yeah that’s what I’m shooting for right now. If I see 400 or so to the ground I’ll be good for a while. At least that’s what I think lol.
Those intakes look so good, and from what I’ve read are a great upgrade for ls2 engines. But the horsepower gain over my ls6 intake is so small I just couldn’t spend on one. Looks so freakin tough though. Oh, please for the love of god put a catch can on that little hose. While chasing my gremlins I peeked into my intake and it’s covered in oil in there. Save your fast from that.
@@evsnova74 I’ve been looking at elites idk why. I have no idea what makes one catch can better than another. I’d like to see the video and reason why you picked whichever you chose.
Hey, i just recently did this install and you mentioned an extension for the map sensor. Where can i find one? I just ordered one and it all seem like ls1 to ls3 extensions. Any ideas to point me to?
@@evsnova74 got it. I had to do the same thing. Aside from that, broke one of the evap clips so it doesn't lock and trying to figure out that situation since it's not an easy replacement.

Unfortunately I never looked into it because I ended up just disconnecting the harness from the rail so it would reach.
