I always liked this thing, I found a lot of success with it. At the BR, it's a nice jack of all trades, but turns well enough to hang with most stuff. That single .50 cal REALLY helps.

It's weird that you upload this a day after I decided to go back and spade all of my American Rank I planes. I realized that I never played the early naval props, because I had the free premium versions when I was starting out. Had to unlock some newer modifications for naval bombers too. Honestly, it's quite nostalgic. I love low-tier props.

Yea I feel u! Grinding this event from 8.7 and higher was already hard in RB, and a 3K mission points battle was among the good ones; but after the pack sales went on, it feels like if i'm forced to do a job i hate. Rank 4-5 can be a problematic too, do to there are always a few Ju-288 that just keep running around and nobody can kill them in the team. And if try to play a Ju-288 its guaranteed the 2/3 your team is in a bomber as well (or in a Ju-288), leaving nothing for u to bomb.
Tough i do had some epic moments in mixed battles, I even had a 24 kill one with 13.5K mission points, and 4-5k points is my average.

It's even more insane in ground RB. It gets 2 x 100 lbs bomb drops, and the fifty cal can kill so many tanks at the BR - I once got a 15 kill run with it. Galer's F3F is easily the best starter premium (and biplane) in the game. I've played 1130 matches with it in there.

Ive been enjoying the beaufighter in 9.3 matches. Just for the torpedo, but I get god mode quite a lot so its worth it for the 20,000 bonus. Its firepower surprises the jet pilots quite a lot. Yeah its quite fun playing the older aeroplanes in higher rank matches
Shot down a phantom in a p-47 and yup, it’s a good change of pace every once in a while.

I try my best to learn, to improve. And though I was never near the best at props, or early jets, so far I have been enjoying the F-5C and trying to learn how to play at that br.

I have my best k/d ratio with the f3f. Just incredible. Might not be fast, but it sure can turn and it takes a beating and its got enough power to regain speed quick enough to well just turn again.

I can relate to what you said about ignoring people and their opinions. The older I get, the more useless it feels to "debate" (argue) over any kind of topic. It is just one side pushing something which feels true to them, while the other side is also pushing what feels true to them. The meaning of truth gets lost in the pecking. I am 31 now and throughout my years I realized, that growing older means mastering the art of not giving a damn.

In all seriousness this may be controversial but I would prefer that all the people that joined the game for top tier aircraft and/or tanks went all playing top tier premiums. I previously joined the game for Bf-109s, Spitfires, P-51s, Yak3s and all other ww2 props, but the decrease in average skill level (followed by increase in airfield camping, amount of bombers (looking at you ju288c players), etc) at that br range has killed the fun for me.
Started playing top tier around late 2022 because many skilled players I know had moved there, but now with 16v16 and the whole “fly low or die” meta the gameplay is shit there as well.
If most people who play props only to grind moved there thought ww2 props would be fun again imho.

I think you overestimate those players.
I find it annoying that 1.3 is only noob fights, with my favorite being the He 51, And I can’t exactly uptier it unlike in Arcade, so I end up fighting seal clubbers or noobs only which kinda sucks when you like late biplanes.
Thankfully, the I-153 exists and has allowed me to get 5-6 kills per realistic match on a more regular basis thanks to it’s maneuverability at 2.3.
Honestly, getting only 1-2 kills per match feels absolutely wrong for me, as an arcade player. Flying in a straight line to shoot one guy in the face and get shot by him at the same time ain’t fun. But I love using the I-153 to fool players. And seeing other I-153 on the enemy teams… yeah I can understand why they’d think I’d be an easy target
Yeah, that's the worst about low tier. Some of us just want to play the historic machines, but they're at too low of a Br to have oponents of equal skill.

Low tier has given me some amazing fights. Great break from the high tier shitshow. Though I tend to go to the Ki-61 Otsu... including the US premium.

I enjoy mid tiers the most. Lowtier is fun for clubbing sometimes. Missile thunder is just... meh? And top tier feels straight up like its a genz subway surfer in the background zero attention span consoom gameplay. Maybe im just old and grumpy.

I didn't know the Dutch celebrated April 1st right before New Year's! (Lol). Yeah, the only BR where you find the most capable players now is the 3.7 to 5.7 prop plane range or 7.7 to 8.7 jet range. Everything else is just clueless idiots in bad planes or clueless idiots in broken planes.

Top tier simply needs completely new game mode. It's all looking so exciting to get the latest jet, but when you get into the game, even when you're doing good, those kills are not exciting whatsoever.
Props around 5.0 are waaaay harder and way more fun if it's not 6.0 with those JUNKers from germany.
BTW - my new years resolution is: ''Do not turn fight Japanese props''.....(that much)
