Dude this week's vid just popped in my phone, what gives!? Well even if I am two days late I gotta say the the rig looks sick! I like the way the lights pair up perfectly with the turn blinkers and having them behind the grill is perfect. I would like to see some good nighttime shots to get a better view of them, like you did with the toaster way back when you did the lights on it. Good stuff bro, I'll be looking for next week's vid just in case it doesn't pop in again!
I was about to do a welfare check on you, dude. Glad you're ok. Lol. I'll try to get better shots in the next video. I'm hoping to have it out by Tuesday, but I have family in town and I'm not sure I can make the date. Thanks for always watching.
They look great and I am not so sure that wider placement would have made them any better. I think the mid-grill grouping works well with the headlights. Sorry the fuse box became unusable.
Look awesome man. That will be my next mod for my commander as well ☝️. I'll be conecting mine when headlights on and not all the time like you have your.🥰
If you have the factory set up, that will work. I have led headlights and DRLs so I didn't want to mess with my setup. I have all sorts of stuff hooked up to fool that Canbus crap. Thanks for watching.
They look awesome. All the work you are doing is inspiring to me to get going on my Commander in the spring. The bumper cut will be the toughest. Don't have junkyards available like u do. Keep up the great work 👍!
Really cool mods and really good channel!!! I had a chance to test drive a Jeep Commander last weekend, high mileage one but with lovely Mercedes V6 diesel. I was really surprised how good the Commander is to drive, I don't know if it counts as 'fun' per se, but it's comfy, consistant to handle and stable at road speeds. It definitely handles far better than a car with looks and charcter like that should, LOL! I've been on a search for designated 'adventure' vehicle in the household, hoping to score a Land Rover Discovery 3 (aka LR3 there in NA) but the ones which are within my budget are high mileage, heavily abused ones. And compared to Commander, the LR3 has far too many potential expensive repairs (air suspension, two timing belts, turbocharger). I do like the seating position and boot of LR3 better, though, but now the Commander is certainly a viable contender.
The diesel is the best engine. I wouldn't worry about mileage if the car is in good condition. The Commander is definitely a solid overlanding rig and much less expensive than a lot of the competition. That's why I have one! Thanks for watching!
We've been thinking about doing this on ours so thanks for the idea where to mount these ... I wonder how 7 of these would look like behind the grille, to have all seven Jeep slots lit up 🙂
I love your commander. I'm in the process of trying to get one. There's alot in new jersey for sale? I would like to find one down south no salt. But idk . I plan on doing some of the things you did to yours.
Should have just mounted them on the grill. Better yet, get lights to line the inside of the 7 holes on the grill, sort of a "Halo" effect on the grill. Good job anyway.👏
There is no such thing as a good Commander mechanic. If it's broken, throw it out. Lol. If you really need someone, check out Phillips Tire and Auto in Fern Park. Thanks for watching.
@@ExtremeDailyDrivers I have a commander XK, I liked your ideas, the exhaust mod too. By now i'm working on front brakes and suspension issues (You know used car)
So I ended up buying the add-a-fuse recommended in the description a month ago. Was there a skipped step in using it? Otherwise it’s too late to return it 😂
You could watch the video again or read the directions that come with the add-a-fuse. If it's still unclear, you could search "How to use a add-a-fuse" on RUclips. It's pretty easy. I'm sure you can figure it out. Thanks for watching.
I think the radiator gets hot and it will end up melting the adhesive. I saw you said you wanted them on at the time however, you could potentially drain a battery leaving them on . I would have tapped the parking or fog light wires. Personal choice.
@@ExtremeDailyDrivers Hi again, I am about to do the install and had 3 questions. 1) I was confused on the 9:38 mark of this video. Which interior red wire did you crimp your yellow wire onto? 2) Your yellow live wire, can I just use a red 18AWG CCA? 3) (stupid question alert) The black wire isn't the ground but actually connected to the negative terminal of battery? I will space it out as you suggested when I install my custom HID headlights and show you how it would otherwise look! =)
The little llights look nice however, you should have one in each grill. Dad
Great idea!! Thinking about adding two more! See you this weekend!

Couldn't they be wired directly into one of the amber parking lights so you wouldn't have to run extra fuses or switch?
Yes, but I want them on day and night, just like how it works with the Ford Raptor. Thanks for watching.
@@ExtremeDailyDrivers got it. Thanks for putting up good stuff on these Commanders, I own one and can't find anything for it.
I like!! Nice job!
Thanks! I like the way it turned out too. Thanks for watching!
Yeah those LEDs looked awesome. I think maybe the next whole grille could do with them but that’s a nice look on the JC
I've been thinking about adding two more 🤔. These LEDs are so inexpensive I might just do it. Thanks for watching.
Hey man finally did this mod and it looks great!! Thanks for all the Commander content.
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!

I'm thinking of adding two more. If it's too much, I'll remove them. Thanks for watching.

Fog & raptor lights in. Wish I could show u a pic. Thank you again for inspiring us all.

lookin Great man!
Thanks!!
wow! these make the ones I got look huge lol.
That's what she said.
Looks badass 😎
Thanks!

As I said in the video, I do not like the look on the grill. Way too obnoxious for me. Thanks for watching.
I’m curious to see how well the double sided tape holds up being on the radiator 200 degrees 🤷🏻♂️, they look cool tho man nice job 👍
A month later and they haven't moved. There's your answer! Thanks for watching.
Great job!!! Like it!!! We are almost neighbors, do you know a good commander mechanic in the area?

Awesome work.does the radiator heat affect the leds or the adhesive?
No. They are still there. Thanks for watching.

Did you get that black decal on your hood made?
Yes
Good Job my freind
Thanks!

You might want to watch the video again. You missed a lot of key pieces based on your comments. Thanks for watching.
Isn't that double-sided tape going to Peel off due to the heat of the radiator?
No, if anything it will stick even better. Thanks for watching.
@@ExtremeDailyDrivers you must have used the grey 3M tape. I love that stuff!
Do you removed the grille fins?
Yes. I did a video on it.
nice and sleek. maybe you couldve put more, one in each grill lol
Not a bad idea, but it won't work on the ends. I'm going to add two more. Thanks for watching.
Add 2 more
I was thinking that. Thanks for watching.
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
