Gentlemen thanx for having a great vibe I grew up in 63 and watched Nam on CBS with Cronkite. But i remember " The Boys from Charlie Co. J Wayne and the Green Bs and the song. I read a book called Code Name Copperhead it was when awhile ago but jump with one the first siutcase nuke. The book starts with his namesake driving from US into Canada the kids stopped and detained Long story short thank u for hours of great guests and subject matter. If you guys have had a podcast on this American Bad ass let me know wher to find it. I always thought from childhood that id be a Marine. I lost a half cousin to Nam and my only memory of the guy was he was comfortable in his skin. Ended up 1/21/85 joined NYPD. Ive never written to anyone about anything. I also that some guys who listen to these shows are "buffs" good dudes who love hear the stories, me its hearing about groups Teams of men all therre by choice and Selection. Hearing of people who train and push to always train to be better. Last 15 20 years a fundamental change how a child can or shoud be raised. Are you talking about the delta operator who everyone referred to as "Igor" that I believe fought for one of the Nordic armies, and the Lithuanian army before than before coming to the US and ultimately becoming either 75th or SF before passing unit selection in the late 90s. He was killed in Afghanistan I believe his name was Master Sergeant Invika Jerak. Edit: noticed his name was lower cased and that shit ain't gonna fly for what this hero gave up.

He credits them for that when talking about being with the rangers looking for the lone survivor. SBS guy said even during training b4 the GWOT SEALs on exercise would start losing kit towards the end and we ( the SBS) would pick it up and collect it for ourselves. Lol

Did anyone else notice at the very end when asked about Pat Tillman & his brother he said yes they were both there at the same time etc. etc. etc. he continued to answer saying the following "do I know them, not really, I know them about as well as I know Matt Best" If Pat died in combat then why refere to him & his brother in the present not the past. He KNOWS them instead of knew them....🤔
pat wasnt very well liked in the community he was given tons of leadway and favortism cuz he was good for recruiting and he has enough money he can get out at any point
MY THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ONLY 5:55 hahaha lol...same thing happened w/my twins. I tried 2 warn them basic is jus mind games. Do what u're told, keep low profile, pass ur tests, etc. They got it so bad not jus regular pitting em against each other but threats of ucmj(like "stop, going over 2 his platoon...or u both get art 15". Or during h2h they were told 2 fight each other, when they didnt agree, they got told "u fight or we'll kick u out da army"). So, bad that during h2h, a DI who i believe should not be one any longer due 2 his undiagnosed ptsd, said fight 2 da end. One of my boys passed out, his brother thought he strangled his brother. And dem fucker di's standing around laughing while da "omg, i killed my brother" son is freaking out...only then did they fucking realize something was badly wrong! Plus a lot of other mind games(maybe what some might call psyops), it got real bad towards middle & end...which DID NOT go over well w/momma bear...but das some other stories of me going off on their commander & then later at graduation i ripped into a DI.
He is being nice. Of course they messed up. They are glorified SWAT teams. Great on the X but Army elements are way better at over all terrain and skill sets to get on the X. An Army PFC Paratrooper knows has more experience than new SEALS
It's almost impossible to understand most of these operations that failed so miserably because they are all fragmented accounts from the low ranking pfcs and specialists who didn't really grasp what was happening at the time or even 5 years later...As I understand it 4 seals were put on a Afghanistan mountain to observe a guy named Shah and his merry men...They obviously were observing the seals and their rescue helicopter which they shot down killing 16 men... Nobody in 1/75, 2/75 or 3/75 fired a round and allegedly neither did marcus Litrell...So, I just don't see the point of this...
He's holding back? You can tell he has some thoughts about what happened with the SDV team ? The Host was asking ,"What he thought happened on the mountain ? " He seems to be Treating the subject with ,Kids gloves ?
Deployment with the French army is basically 13 deployments doing check point security in a green zone .. that’s what 99% of EU SF does and in this guys case also permitter security for US army rangers .. let’s not get it twisted

Which SOF unit was credited with silent entry CQB? I heard one the ST6 guys suggest it was them but is there any more info on that?
There's a former CAG Operator who credited DEVGRU in his book for pioneering silent entry.

Have Soldiers thought were there. They said estimate was 12 Haji not 100s like the movie. SEALs are not as vetted and trained as Army USASOC assets.
