Whats up guys! In today's video we will be start our brand new series of building up this honda civic using only junkyard parts! Honestly this isn't anything different from what I usually do, but in this format it feels more like a scavenger hunt haha. This build & series is entirely dependant on what I can find at my local junkyards so follow along as it might be a long ride!
For the first day I end up finding this super cool 4th gen prelude and lucky for me there was a passenger seat waiting to be taken home! Prelude seats have always been on my items list and im so grateful to have found 1 so far.

The Maplestory music definitely caught me by surprise. What a throwback.
I was getting fed up with the typical youtuber "I just bought my 1000th dream car" videos this is very refreshing.

About 60% of my car was rebuilt from junkyard parts (including all of the small cool things) most favorite find was the d16z6 valve cover. This thing will look awesome!

I've had 52. Absolutely a must do at some point. I love 92-00 civics and intergras. Had a few accords and tl's too.

Great find for sure especially if you can get one for the driver. Even in different colors it would be sick. Make the back match up to the color mix match would be raw dawg

Change the oem rails to the prelude ones there is couple videos on RUclips of how to do it I did it on my ek sedan a while ago

Junkyard scores are the best!!! Never know what you might find there. Since you mentioned that you’ll be restoring your civic, look at the Canadian Civic SiR for some inspiration. Vogue Silver is a factory color. Prep and paint your side skirts and door moldings. Budget SiR without the obvious details of an actual Si or SiR.
lol, I went to pick up an intake camshaft, and I left with the camshaft I needed and a like new set of NGK plug wires that were a perfect fit. $40 for the cam and $8 for the wireset.

For shampooing car carpets seats etc, make sure to spray the solution on and let it sit for around 5 min then scrub then vacuum. It will help to lift more crud out of the carpet/fabric
I know with certain configs, you can swap a passenger seat for the driver (swap seat pans or sometimes swap just the buckle). It would be awesome to see this in the driver seat kinda like a street/track car with only one bucket seat.
Im just seeing the part when you mention you are gonna do some fab. Please do it for the driver side. only the recline level will be flipped and it'll look sick on a budget

Brake clean mixed with general purpose cleaner, some water and brush and shop vac. You'd be surprised what that can get out of the carpet and floormats.

4:55 it’s easy to use a drill with a brush attachment and whatever chemical you want to use to remove it then use the stain remover to suck up all the grime.

Next time use a spray bottle with totally awesome degreaser from your 99 cents store and a good hamd brush. Spray some and brush the seats or carpet and then use the extractor 😊

try and find a recently wrecked civvie with some newer coils on it, maybe find a set of wheels and maybe fabricate a cold air intake out of some stuff you're able to pull together from the yard

Im planning to do this with my 1990 accord. The suspension is completely rebuilt but I’m honestly lagging it on the engine build lol so to get it running the entire engine bay will be a stock swap from the junkyard😂
Some new headlights/ rear lights always make a big cosmetic look on a car
Use liquid rubbing compound for your headlight lens.
97-01 prelude steering wheel is same as em1, so maybe get one for the meantime cause insights don’t pop up very often 😅
