Wolf on a Snowy Hill

After waiting for 4 days, a black wolf appeared on a tall, steep, rock outcropping that rises above the Lamar River in Yellowstone National Park. A cow elk, that had been attacked by wolves 4 days before, had fallen to her death off of the rocks and the wolf was trying to find a way down to the carcass. It had snowed for two days before this brief viewing took place. Sound was recorded on the iPhone 14 at the scene.
