Here's an upgrade for the fridge: Use a lever on one of the counters to open it. You'll need to wire the lever up to the fridge, but doing it this way means you can fill your fridge with groceries or stare blankly at your food wondering what to eat in Minecraft *and* real life, and also have a nice (decorative) knife block.

2:32 for this one you can just put the lever at the back of the painting (unless you want to turn it on and off)
Here’s a trick that helps me a lot when I need to hide my light sources:
As slabs and stairs are transparent technically, light can pass through them, and
if you build with their full block counterparts, they blend right in!
That's for bedrock, Java changed the lighting system a while ago

The torch hack is cool, but I think it should be used on a glow item frame to make it look like it is lighting the item frame up, just what I think.

There is another way to do the torches with item frames. You can actually use invisible item frames to make it look even better, just a thought.
Here is the command to do that: /give (username) item_frame{EntityTag:{Invisible:16}}

@MagmaMusen You can also use trapdoors to hide the light, especially birch trapdoor which can hide all the lights and has a very stylish look
Trapdoor also can prevent the dropping water
