@@adamantheart8275 The developer (RGS) didn't understand its core playerbase at all. They released a massive new update called Red Crucible Firestorm. It completely changed the mechanics of the game, trying to chase Battlefield or something. The original game was super arcadey, little to no physics, goofy animations, you could sprint without cooldown forever, etc. They essentially changed all these mechanics, making it feel like a completely different game. Additionally, the core audience was mainly people who didn't have or could afford high-end PCs. That was half the appeal. Anyone could play the game on their POS computer, the Firestorm update was trying to complete with Battlefield for some reason and essentially made the game unplayable for most of the core players. There were over 10,000 online at all times in RC2, after the Firestorm update that dropped to 1000 and died after about a year. Since the update RGS has pretty much gone bust, the assets sold up between the two original owners, that's why it's all called War Trigger now. Unfortunately, this ends up happening to a lot of games, developers seem terrible at reading the room, instead letting their own silly ambition ruin a good thing. It was said by Torchwood and it 100% true, all they had to do was keep giving new guns, maps into the rc2, they fucked up and since this game is dead.

build a game exactly like red crucible 2 movement and weapons the same. just update arenas and anti-cheat, it will definitely be a success.
