- This is a type of smaller dinner theater type venue at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California. This venue has tables and chairs right up against the stage, that is why people are sitting "watching" the concert. Open spaces and behind those seated have plenty of onlookers and dancing.

Her voice is still amazing.
Saw them live in 83. terry was unbelievable.
Awesome!
Yes, me too! It was my very first concert. Spring Session M baby❤ it was awesome.
Same. New Brunswick, NJ.
This is Dale's tribute to Missing Persons, without Terry Bozzio, Warren Cuccurullo and Patrick O'Hearn it's not Missing Persons.
Terry, Warren, and Patrick are world class rock musicians but this new band really rocks. Check out the album they just released. It is shockingly good.
Holy shit look it’s the land of the dead zombie audience. What a difference between this and the 80s us festival. I’m going to see these guys next month :D
lol! it was a dinner type venue at the coach house...80s us festival was definitely fun back in the day! have fun at ur concert
Some of us PAY ATTENTION to the music\performance while others dance around like a bunch of morons. Seriously what's wrong with SITTING DOWN and watching\enjoying a live performance? Notice there are few phone cameras going? They are not zombies they are enjoying a live performance! Thats what I call an intelligent audience!
Boy is that crowd lame. Dale, rock on.
LOL!! A lot has to do with the dinner type venue.
Holy crap, agreed- probably felt like they were playing at the old folks home! Mega suck! Hope they got paiiiid, that would have been awful!
Who gives a roaring rip about the crowd...I cant hear the guitar and the drums are blasting everything apart.. sound quality #1...everything else doesn't matter
@@bibi8I went to a Pat Benatar dinner concert and we were moving way more than that ....maybe they had something heavy on the menu lol idk
Sitting there like a bunch of wooden seat filler dummies lol like the ones they sometimes use in the far background in movies ....
I'm in RI, lived in LA for most of the 80's, Walking in LA, Give, What are words for, Surrender your heart to me.....she sounds 😊👍 good, thanks for this video
Well said!
so happy that dale is out there doin it baby! 😍❤✌🎼🎵🎶🎙
Me too!!
Turn bass amp on, check. Turn bass up, check. Tune bass, check. 2:43 Hike up pants, check. (On a side note, bassist Prescott Niles is THE MAN. Started in The Knack and has played with everyone. Much respect)
He's a master. Totally shredded when I saw them in San Diego. Nice guy too. Took pics with us and chatted. Class act. Had his son as his roadie too rolling up cables and packing gear.
that almost 3 minutes probably felt like an eternity
Dale still has it! Thanks for posting this.
No problem!
Love this song and Dale!!! ❤️❤️❤️
LOVE Dale and that they are still doin' it.... A bunch of O.C. Houswives in the audience... WAKE UP AND ROCK!
haha
Love Yah Dale!
she sounds great.
I just discovered this band, and i love them
I sorta did also from late last year to early this year. I do like some of their songs however some I don't (unfortunately) like. With that her voice is very unique. and I originally thought she was much taller than she really is judging from her early years videos. like "Words" (my favorite) and others too.
What a cool looking venue 👍
Go Dale Go!!
Dale still brings it - enjoyed this greatly!
Glad you enjoyed it
This band unrelentingly rocks! They also have an excellent new album out in 2023. I can't wait to see them live when they make it to Los Angeles.
NO
Topanga Days?
Still amazing, geez could you have a more restrained crowd!
What would you like the crowd to do? You there for the crowd or for the band?
Fantástico que bom poder ver isso.
Oh man the 80’s were fun!
Awesome so great to see her out doing it the whole band doing it… As far as the crowd, some places, don’t allow people to stand up, that could be the case
I hope they make it to Denver one day. I'll be there if they do.
You never know, I hope for your sake!
Watch the Little Bear (bar) events in Evergreen- never heard of Dale playing denver and not doing a gig there... met her at one in the 90s, kissed her on the cheek and got hair in my mouth 🤣😆
Holy shit I'm.... I got old.
Persons missing..but still cool
Wow! I would have been bouncing up and down in the audience!
This song is the "jam" it still "rocks" TB I wish you could of bin there🙂 it still rocks🎶🎶🥁🎸🎤
It does!!
Saw them when this song was in heavy rotation on KROQ. Penetrators on the same bill at at a Perkins Palace fetid with clove cigarette smoke.
that's a visual lol!
@@bibi8 More like a nasal. ;)
Why were they playing the beginning of Red Barchetta? She still sounds great.
I think a lot of bands that play live don't cut it I guess it is up to the sound person the way it goes still love studio recordings 👍
True and yes!
These sit-down venues are always weird....
definitely different...lol!
I'm not a fan, at all. If I'm going for a night-out, sitting on my ass and giving a "golf clap" is not my idea of a good time.
She looks night and day from the beginning but she can still sing. Along way from the sexy pinup girl.
Yes, it's that silly thing called "age", none of us can hide from...lol
👍👍👍❤❤❤🎵🎵🎵
So if you want to add some suspense when you come out on stage, mess with the bassist’s gear so he adjusts 20 knobs and throws a fit while everyone waits. (Sounded good by the time he was done, at least.)
Sounds very good!
Ok! Nobody move!
Is that Claude Coleman on the drums? The technique looks like his
The drummer isn't Terry Bozzio but he sure held this tune tight for the band.
I still remember the moment in time that I first heard and watched a Missing Persons video (words - local Boston station) = mind blown.
good memories for sure!
Always waiting on the bass player lol
that drummer......
3 minutes of sound check at the beginning of the video??? I saw the band Sweet at the Coach House in 1993, it's a pretty nice club but seems pretty tame for this show. They sound decent but the original band was way better. I saw them at Magic Mountain in 1982.
Is Terry playing drums here?
no Terry, maybe Andy Senesi
No, Nate Morton is the drummer.
Dale is still fabulous! Bass player had a 'mare and then came out and overplayed passing notes on every phrase. Just groove dude so the fans can get their groove on.
Back in the early days of MP they didn't have a bass player all bass lines were played on keys although I preferred when dude finally started playing an actual bass by "color in your life" days, I was lucky enough to see them in Long Beach at one of the few shows they did for that album right before they spilt up, was 16 at the time, time flies.........
Agreed! I was not impressed by the drummer, either. If you're going to play Terry Bozzio's parts, do them correctly.
@@johnsoos6907 I think she could have gotten some better players, I know now she's got the original bass player from The Knack can't remember his name there are some more recent vids and she had him and much better drummer, think it's still that guitar player though.
Yeah it’s missing persons alright, cause they are all missing!!🤣🤣🤣
That crowd needs to calm down! Totally out of control.
𝔸𝕣𝕞𝕠𝕦red 𝔸𝕡𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕝𝕖𝕤
They can't take 3 minutes to leave. Its alot! The best, his voice. Incredible how she kept it
Still a master of the drums
That's not Terry.
Who's the drummer?
The great Nate Morton!
@@fatbackfunk Thanks. :)
Crowd just sitting on their butts! GET UP ! Their more concerned about getting a good shot on their phone! Put the phone down and jump around ! You only live once !
Yes, it's a small dinner venue. Dancing was out of view.
She went from new wave look to hippy.... where is the wild makeup and colored hair?
Table seating at the front of the stage for a rock show. Unforgivable. If you want to sit, stay home.
Where was this?
Canyon Club?
This is at a place called the Coach House. It is a smaller dinner type venue in San Juan Capistrano, California.
There's no way to cover the drums. 🤣Terry is just too good. Her voice sounds about the same.
I thinks it's funny how they all run around like they have no idea what's going one and look so unprepared. There's a load in, sound check, etc.. and yet most bands do this what the hell is going on act. Embarrassing. It's not an impromptu performance. Bass player doesn't know where he at, Digging in his pockets looking for a pick gear not working, It worked in sound check.
My first thought …fire the bass player
Dale needs to do something else for a living at some point. Time to move on...
Dale is great. Backing band is awful.....and crowd.
