Yeah! Ideally I'd really like to hear more metal from all over the world. There are small metal scenes in places like western Africa and the Near East: great things happen whenever they make metal their own instead of just copying the classics. One thing that makes Hanabie great is that they do angry girl metal and sing about stuff relevant to their gender & age. We have plenty of metal songs about war, alcohol, or, oh lord dragons. We have way too few about dating apps or period pains.
I may have to resort to those type of drives myself to see them again, because I live in New England and we suck, especially Boston. Three times they've been to the US and no Boston shows. I was fortunate enough that they came within a 3 hour drive to New Haven, CT. It was the best metal/hardcore show I've ever experienced, and had the inexpensive VIP package where the photo with the girls is worth the price alone, imo. But again, Jinjer tour and the closest show was like 6 hours a way. If need be, I will make the trip like you did because you're right, they are "totally worth it". 🔥
I'm an old, bald bearded dude who grew up listening to Slayer, Pantera, Metallica and Iron Maiden, and these cute, bright, colourful girls are making the best metal music I've heard in years! I've yet to hear a song of theirs I don't love. They just don't miss. Japan is really kicking ass with metal lately and I'm totally here for it. You mentioned you wanted lead guitars. Check out LOVEBITES. Those ladies melt faces.
Lots of Japanese Samurai liked to shave their heads to look like a bald man. Baldness is cooler in Japan. Btw, look what our favorite Rock and Metal bands did to Japan, ha ha.
Remember, you asked for recommendations. You did this to yourselves. BAND-MAID - Hard rock + punk, metal, pop, blues, funk, etc. 'Domination' live, 'Hate?' live, 'Blooming' music video, 'RINNE' mv Hanabie - Harajukucore, a mix of metal, pop, rap, punk, electronica and a little bit of everything else. In High School they were a Maximum the Hormones cover band, the guitarist, bassist and singer are the core of the band. They now have a different drummer and it looks like she'll be around for a while. They write their songs.
Yuyoyuppe cowrote Saki ni Shitsureishimasu. He's a synth metal producer who wrote a lot of Babymetal songs. If you're a Babymetal fan probably most of your favorite Babymetal songs. They also have a couple of his pre Babymetal songs in the Hatsune Miku games. I was playing one I was like wait a sec. I've seen that name.
They have a anime theme coming out in January called "Oishii Survivor" for the anime Momentary Lily. You might want to jump on that when it comes out. They are also supposed to be dropping a new EP also this year. I would recommend checking out more Hanabie. they only have bangers, you could literally pick any song out a hat. Japan is really keeping music alive for me these days. Great video!.
Yukina the lead singer just did a feat with knosis, song called fuhai, but if you want to hear hanabie at their most hardcore, I recommend listening to : Bukkowasu!! Genkai numa life Our 7 days war I really think you guys will get to hear their full potential with those 3 songs

Your joy is so contageous... Could not stop laughing. HANABIE take us all by surprise. Tons of creativity, tons of humour. A very original Metal band. All appreciators emphasize their *surprisefulness* . "You never know what you're gonna get." A song vibe can change any few moments, but they are always _amazing_ .DE/GER
The drumpers do be drumping. 🥁 Thanks for checking out Hanabie. You even got the pronunciation correct. Ok copy/pasta for new reactors. Welcome to Harajuku-core! Hanabie (ha-na-be-eh) refer to their music style after the famous Harajuku district that inspires their look and sound. It is famous for its street fashion, shopping, and youthful culture. As you heard, Harajukucore is an energetic mix of metal, electronic, rock, punk, rap, pop, and even traditional instruments. Their visual style is also influenced by the flamboyant gyaru (gal) styles. Matsuri (Gt. & Vo.), Yukina (Harsh Vo.), Hettsu (Bass & Vo.) started the band as an after-school club playing Maximum the Hormone covers. Over the years they have had several drummers including Sae, seen here in this video. Chika is their current drummer. They have a lot of songs about social issues in Japan, like sugar addiction, dating app abuse, and Japanese office life. But they always deliver that message in an entertaining way. Here's a few song recommendations for you - 'Pardon me, I have to go now', 'Be the GAL - early summer ver.', 'NEET GAME', 'Envy', 'Reiwa Dating Apps Generation', 'Tousou' (run away), and 'LOVE Ranbu' which is audio only.
Funny you mentioned System because their concerts make me feel like I'm seeing System again but its 99 again. Three times already and hopefully many more
Awesome reaction!!! I saw Hanabie ( ha-nah-bee-EH) 4 times this year on their US tour and their live performances are beyond awesome!! If you want to check out another dope all-female Japanese band, PLEASE watch/react to their official video for their song, DISSENSION! It is a DEF BRUTAL BANGER!!! There's def guitar leads too!
Saw them live last summer on a small stage in Stockholm, and those girls sure know how to entertain! They started out as a Maximum the Hormone cover band, back in school. I don't believe you've reacted to Maximum the Hormone yet, have you? Would make sense to give them a try. I guess the most popular video theirs at the moment is probably _Shimi,_ featuring Atarashii Gakko. But as you haven't heard Atarashii Gakko yet either, perhaps save that one for later. I would say start with the song Yoshu Fukushu.
I'm subbing so I can watch you guys go down the Hanabie rabbit hole. You should check out Pardon Me, I Have to Go now -->Tousou-->Be the Gal next, as their videosare kind of connected. These guys started in 9th grade as a Maximum the Hormone cover band, so if you haven't heard them yet, definitely check them out too!
Great reaction! You definitely gotta check out Babymetal. 10 years ago this "Metal Dance Unit" burst the Japanese music industry's wall of isolationism to carve out a path for all these other all-female rock/metal bands to follow. Their lead singer, Suzuka Nakamoto, a.k.a. Su-metal has been voted best female metal vocalist in a online poll two years running, beating out Floor Jansen by a HUGE margin. For a first reaction, I would recommend Headbangeeer!!! Live at Legend 1997 (2013), Road of Resistance Live at PIA Arena 2023 or Distortion Live at Download 2018.

🤣 If you guys think you're going to get away with just ONE more Japanese band then you're deluding yourselves 😉. Off the top of my head I can think of more than a dozen all female Japanese bands that will blow your minds and all of them are better than anything currently in the US or UK . Here's just 6 for starters - Band Maid Hagane East of Eden Gacharic Spin Doll$boxx Babymetal - just a very few and - from left field - Korean Rock band - Rolling Quartz ENJOY !

First Lovebites, now Hanabie - you're hitting all my favorites (I saw LB in Sept in Dallas, and Hanabie this month in Houston). They sound like System of a Down because *1.* When they were in high school they started a Maximum the Hormone cover band, and *2.* MTH started years earlier as a SOAD cover band. MTH is another Japanese band you should check out - think SOAD on Steroids. *_Yoshu Fukusu_* ruclips.net/video/beN5ep5MrdY/видео.html
"THE WARNING" Guys, I'm going to tell y'all you're missing out on "THE WARNING" . It's a band. 3 sisters from Mexico 19 22 24yrs old. They all sing (in English. This is the best Rock trio on the planet today. They've opened for Halestorm, Muse, Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, 3 Days Grace. And more.. try DUST TO DUST/DULL KNIVES (Cut better) LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX OR EVOLVE LIVE AT THE MTV VMA'S 2023.. This will be your new favorite band I promise.. the sound is massive and the vocals are brilliant.. "YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED" 🌎✌️
Hanabi-Eh (the E as in the word error), not Hanabia or Hannahbeeyay. Hanabie are the most creative all-female metal band from Japan, nowhere else will you find so much variety from song to song and also within the songs. In this song, for example, not a single passage was repeated. Our favorite Hanabie song is the slightly older L.C.G, with which Hanabie founded their own subgenre, Harajukucore. You should also take a look at Maximum The Hormone. Hanabie started out as an MTH cover band and you can still hear the influences of these living metal legends from Japan. Their latest video for the song Shimi, which they made together with Atarashii Gakko, is brilliant.
@@PANIC_aka_PinD We watched the video and anyone with working ears can clearly hear that Hah-Nah-Bee-Eh is the correct pronunciation. Hannahbeeyay is and remains nonsense, no matter how many times you troll our comments.
Japanese women are taking over the world of metal and I am totally fine with that, I surrender 🏳🏳🏳🏳

I drove 7 hours to see their headline show in Columbus a few weeks ago. Totally worth it, they are a fantastic live band.
I may have to resort to those type of drives myself to see them again, because I live in New England and we suck, especially Boston. Three times they've been to the US and no Boston shows.
Love hanabie so much
Great reaction!

Dang ok... hahaha we got some work to do. Thank you
@@millennialxreactions If you only get time for one, (and why would you ever do only one :) then I throw my vote in for Broken By The Scream (I am pretending this channel works democratically because it suites my purpose, not because it's necessarily true)
Reactions to Broken By The Scream are practically endlessly entertaining XD
Enjoy, whatever you choose to do, or not do :D
@taihavard We will definitely do it, we love the interaction. Look for it maybe the end of the week or beginning of next!
Do it guys .. Japan is a Hotspot 🇯🇵🔥🌸

Try real hardcore Nemophila with Zen live the best japanese female metal band
Cool reaction men. Hanabie are unusual in that I haven't heard any song of theirs I don't like.
We will do it, can't wait thanks!
Hannabie is sick
Han-nah-bee-yay is correct ... you should listen to the bands instructional video ...
@@PANIC_aka_PinD We watched the video and anyone with working ears can clearly hear that Hah-Nah-Bee-Eh is the correct pronunciation. Hannahbeeyay is and remains nonsense, no matter how many times you troll our comments.
@@Rei_and_Miyu Then you did not watch closely enough.
@@Rei_and_Miyu what are you even on about? "ay" and "eh" are literally the exact same pronunciation.
@@gorillaglue99 To you, "ay" like in the word May sounds the same as "eh" like the e in the word error?
Close, Huh-nuh-be-eh 👍🏻
