Zach King doesn't need to add mirror smudges, my screen is dirty enough that it sells it.
There was a mirror? 😂
At this point I start to believe, that the only reason you guys havent done Dune 2 react yet, is that you are waiting for Dany Villeneuv himself to get comfortable on the couch.
They're definitely getting someone from Dune 2. Are VFX featurettes released on the film?
Haven't seen this comment before
Word for word
C’est Denis Villeneuve, pas Dany.
Bro his name is Denis not Dany lol
Please drop BetterHelp as a sponsor, they shared information about users' mental health and other sensitive data with advertisers.
And about 3-4 years ago were allowing staff to be abusive and destructive to patients while many complaints were filed against them, nobody was removed as a part of it. Also not just advertisers, the sell client information to whoever can pay for it.
Sounds like clients should be talking to lawyers and getting a class action suit going/
All online companies share your information
Of course they did, why would you ever give your mental health issue information to a huge data driven website? Just go to an actual talk therapist sometimes they're free or subsidized heavily. Sad to see better help pushed by so many RUclipsrs. Mental health and the privacy of your issues is super duper important it's not to be given away to a website.
Not to mention that the entire concept of “easy convenient therapy” just doesn’t work
It's such an honour to be featured on the show alongside some of my favorite VFX Artists/creators!! 14:55
Was that Bangalore or Hyderabad in that video? Definitely South India.
@@KKomalShashank looked like Hyderabad
It's close to Mysore ;)
@ShutterAuthority You deserve it bro
"There's so much talent out there, that's so inspiring actually"
That is some serious praise. Imagine a legend like Zach King looking at your work and feeling inspired. JalexRosa is pretty incredible.
Better help is known to be a bad company with bad therapists.
I feel like I'm seeing betterhelp everywhere again
I heard that they weren't even therapists, more like counselors.
and an absolutely terrible pricing model. Just a scam all around.
@@RichardCox0 Yup they're back
@@StefanReich I especially hate that I'm seeing it on some of my favorite channels that I would have really thought would take more care with their sponsors.
“It’s a detail no one notices”
Literally the first thing I looked for lol.
Jalex finally gets a react from Corridor. That guy is so talented.
Finally! JalexRosa's time to shine!!!! Been following him since his first upload. Crazy talented dude.
Just sad he didn't get more exposure, the guy has awesome vfx breakdown videos. Can you get Jalex on the couch?
One Day we can only hope
Getting Jalex on React Would be awesome!
I learned so much of my VFX from watching him do his work, super inspiring and crazyyyy talented. They need to do an entire episode around or with him!
I'm convinced BetterHelp is the epitome of money talks bullshit walks. Like they are a terrible company but all of our favorite content creators back them. It's sad, but like I said, money talks.
I’m guessing there’s some multi year contract that they have people sign that basically forces them to take sponsorships from them, and most like a NDA of some kind as well a bout said contract. Money is enticing, and I’m guessing people just don’t realize who better help is until it’s too late.
@@metronicmagician1816 Why would you assume that? The only things that does is put less accountability on the youtubers who are advertising us this shit, youtubers can be bad people too, stop romanticizing entertainers
@@melvindoo2396 how is talking about contract practices romanticizing? I’m not even really pushing the blame off of the RUclipsrs. They could do their own research before accepting anything from a sponsor, but don’t either because they don’t care, didn’t even think to do that, or the money was just too damn good. Hell this doesn’t even get into the RUclipsrs that are actually an entire business of people working together where you could have a team made to get sponsorships at their best deals, and thus there is zero ethics involved. This ain’t romanticizing, it’s just showing the awfully amoral aspects of business ethics.
@@melvindoo2396Assuming the worst without cause is equally wrong. Resenting people because of assumptions you’ve made makes no sense. If we don’t know the truth, we have no grounds to speak.
Oh no a Better Help advert
Grow a pair
@@schizvoid8774 what are you trying to say with this?
@@pixelsheep8939 trying?I said it
@@schizvoid8774 well i mean i said "Oh no a better help advert" because of how shifty and dodgy Better help is

Wren's energy is so contagious!
yep, hes like covid
He's the perfect shill
When you quit RUclips so hard that your goodbye video is on another person’s channel
This 😂
I'm so happy Jalex got some recognition. He puts in so much work.
That SNL Penn and Teller skit was so amazing the first watch!
Coming due Sofyank was mentioned! ❤
Loved the Jalex roza shoutout. Hope to see more collaborations, seeing you guys in his latest vid was a cool surprise too
They featured mah boy Jalex Rosa...Less Go...Thas the goat right there
I'm glad Sofyank was mentioned here, as he's a big fan of Zach's work and they've collaborated at some point, so I've been hoping for him to be mentioned here.
seeing Zach King react to JalexRosa was a huge highlight for me. that kid is insanely skilled in VFX and hearing the crew talk about how impressive it is; i guess i just mean that its nice to hear people that are great at their craft recognize how awesome what he can do actually is
Get Bill Pope on the couch to discuss the miniatures, SFX and puppetry of Team America!
You could then talk about The Matrix, Spiderman, Jungle Book and other movies he's worked on.... 😁
This is my Saturday morning cartoon. I look forward to it every week! Thank you Corridor Crew
same!!
7:40 "No editing/VFX" That can't be correct. There's definitely editing and effects happening here. It's not 100% practical. They are painting out the edge of the mirror, and you can see that the mirror doesn't actually sit on the "door line". It's definitely a real mirror, but they're doing a bit of "movie magic" to help sell the effect.
And he walks right in front of the mirror without a reflection. Guess he’s a vampire.
This is what I was thinking. It’s fine if they used VFX, but they emphasize that it’s “all practical”. That and the fact that the guy didn’t remember how they did most of the effects really frustrated me. Is it just because he has a team and doesn’t do every part of the shoot? Like, maybe he “doesn’t remember” because he didn’t work on those parts of the projects himself? That’s fine, but it’s all kind of presented as if he’s an auteur of everything.
Really nice to see Jalex showing in the show. Would love to see more of him here!
I would love if the Corridor Crew could have a collab VFX trick short with Zach. Even cameos would be appreciated.
Very cool to showcase Raghav's (Shutter Authority) work. I love his stuff.
17:46 I heard “longetivity” while watching this tired right before bed and thought my brain glitched haha.
I'd love to see a Film Riot collab
I'm glad to see Kidding get some sort of recognition. I absolutely loved that show, and I feel like it mostly flew under the radar.
VFX Artists Praise Their Friend For 18 Minutes
In the classroom, you see Zack's legs masking and tracking is slipping behind the desk. Awesome work all around lol no surprise
Love how much fun the kids in the classroom are having!! 😂
Let's all take a second to appreciate how much joy this show has brought
Hey guys, I'm a subscriber and I love your videos, but please do not take money from better help! I spoke to a doctor buddy of mine and she told me how they are not guaranteed to be using licensed professionals and may end up doing more harm than good. Also, as a tech professional I fear that most likely they will end up selling your data.
I think better help was charged for selling the data I guess. I am not sure if they were charged or just accused but yaah I think they did sell the customer's data.
I wonder how big their payouts are for content creators to not decline the sponsorship. I think everybody has heard the shadiness surrounding them at this point.
Love to see Jack King unveiling his magic. Great episode!
I just recently rigged up a robot for the first time in blender. I had no idea what I was doing but managed to learn how to and then do it in one day. To anyone who thinks it's an incredibly tall mountain to climb to be good at vfx, you're right! But, you can get started real easily. The resources are out there, you can do it today!
Yoooo! they brought in Jalex Rosa clips, hell yea.
BetterHelp sold patient medical information to advertisers. Don't advertise this unethical scam of a company.
How could anybody not tell that Penn and Teller were upside down in that scene? They look like they're about to pop from high blood pressure.
Yeah, even if you didn't notice right at first, the studio audience laughter lets you know what's up
Watch it in 1986, on a 19" 4:3 tube TV, especially barely knowing who Penn And Teller were at the time. I think you'd have a different opinion, things evolve and people become culturally smarter about things like that.
The first time I saw it was on a 19" CRT TV with bad reception. I was about 12 and had never seen a camera trick quite like that. I was also obsessed with magic so I thought I knew what to look for, so I was thinking strings or a fan or something. Until the reveal it was one of the most mind blowing tricks I'd ever seen and then afterwards it was even better.
switch to 144p and watch it from 3 meters away on a saturday night while zooted out of your mind on coke
That's what I was thinking. Before they even said anything I was like "what the hell is going on with his arms?"
Please do more episodes like this one, Showing the amazing work of RUclipsrs and other social media creators.
so cool to see the talent from around the world too
9:35
Another detail I noticed is that his sleeve is wet, like if he already broke an egg in a previous take.
I'm still waiting for Zach King to reveal how he did the spray paint ladder video
That stop time reminds me of the circus scene from Big Fish. The way he brushes the floating popcorn out of the air... No idea how they did that.
When his hand grabs through the mirror, you can see that his sleeve is still dirty from the last take :D
Yall should look at the new falling in reverse video. Better CGI than most new movies.
Red Cliff ... Worth looking at, epic stuff
0:26
Used to be a math teacher. This moment is a fever dream. However I can't stop laughing
THE BIRDCAGE. Opening credits. Camera goes from open ocean to follow shots in an active theatre with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.
“CGI” is an acronym for “Computer Generated Imagery,” so WHY ON EARTH do you guys always user a lowercase “i” in the acronym? It drives me NUTS.
Zach is a true VFX expert
I remember wren did a video on costics, well recently I saw some pretty cool costics in Resident evil 2 remake that appear when you shine your flashlight on the floor, pretty cool.
They didn't paint out the sticks before he pushed her. It was a wipe if you noticed it.
Yes! The JalexRosa clips! What a legend
*2:00** I just noticed that the 2 kids at front of class, change clothes from different angles, even haircuts*
I saw that. 2 different kids, I think.
Zach is always such a pleasure to have 🙏
Yo I got a recommendation from 1948! The "Blame it on the Samba" short from Disney's "Melody time." It blew my mind when I saw it!
Would love to see you guys team up with mischief theatre. They did a whole episode of The Goes Wrong Show upside down and are masters at doing live practical stunts.
Love these!
Loved the first episode im going to love the second one too
Thanks for another great episode!
Please cover some of the effects from the 3 body problem. The boat slicing scene in particular. There are some janky effects and some cool effects.
Blood machines and turbo killer 😍
1:47 i wouldnt have noticed the kid flying was comped in if he had sold it better with his reaction
Jalex's work is what the child of us think of what CGI is all about. Glad he showed up here.
THE BUMBLE BEE r/c DRONE FROM THE MOVIE RICHIE RICH 1994….i was shocked how good it is on a rewatch
Full Jalex Rosa episode please.
yeah they should have left the camera guy in the Kidding shot- He looked like he was a photographer taking pics of an event.
Would love to see a breakdown of the Fallout TV show. The effects are great! Apart from a couple shots of Dogmeat running away...
I have to admit that clip where the troll caught the arrow was funny
I would love if you guys did a review of the different nuke explosions from each of the terminator movies and how it’s evolved over time 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Another great episode!
The most amazing thing about all this is that TikTok and RUclips can sustain this level of production. The OGs of RUclips used to dream of times like this.
haven't watched the channel in a while but almost thought Niko was Kurt Russel for a second. definitely pulls off the look!!
Plot twist: Zach King was never there. It was a digital dummy that they made to look like him.
YES Jalex getting some love on here!
3:00
When they shot the "flood"-scene in the first Kingsman-movie they had the set on a rig that was meant to drop it into the water at stages.
Yeah the computer malfunctioned and just went "full down" on the first take^^
Zach King, master of the invisible VFX
And now he disappears
Really great video.
Zack is such an interesting person.
Bring him back anytime.
isn't betterhelp problematic?
Yep, it’s a shame but loads of RUclipsrs have forgotten how bad they are
@@marblestoday4526 it's not always a matter of forgetting. They sign long contracts and can't just stop doing the ads once they find out the company sucks
Moneyyyyy baby!
Argylle has a wild obviously cg transition at 43:50
LOL, love the Penn and Teller SO, pretty sure they did that bit on SNL, but that clip looks like the one from their Movie Penn & Teller get killed, underrated flick!
In the mirror video, the second I saw the shirt had a logo on it I immediately checked to see if the second Zach had a mirrored version.
Jaws 3 has some great Behind the scenes of how they submerged a full set. dropping it in to a pool to simulate he shark smashing the glass, didn’t go to plan first time
have you guys looked at the ‘i’m a virgo’ show yet? i’m loving their effects and sets and style and whatnot (plus the baby in the very first scene is terrifying)
I wanted to point out with the projector trick, is when he puts the image of the black hole on it, his hand is in the way of the light, but his hand is also not blocking the image on the wall. I grew up with teachers using those, and that looked odd
I mean that walking on water scene from the nevers series is crazy wouldn’t mind that to make an appearance on here
Great as always ❤
I love your work. I’m wondering if you’ve ever done anything with the long-running series Supernatural.
PLEASE REACT TO THE FIRST DREAM SEQUENCE IN LATE NIGHT IN SOHO, ITS ALL I HAVE EVER WANTED TO SEE BROKEN DOWN. ITS SO GOOD!
Funny to see the mirror trick that Zach's coat on the mirror is already wet, probably from another shot they took LOL
I'm surprised they didn't catch that.
Now that the new Planet of the Apes movie is out yall should do an entire video on these movies that set a precedent for CGI in modern film.
So glad Jalexrosa got a small bit on the spotlight here!
You guys should react to "when players dont take dnd seriously." The visuals are surprisingly good and hilarious.
Love that all the comments are about there add 😂
11:24 he’s probably doing the behind the scenes or maybe distance calculations for the cgi stuff .
The upside-down Penn and Teller bit they did on SNL was done way back in 1986
Invite T-Pain! Might have been mentioned before, but a musician learning Blender and creating his whole entire music video by himself. The emotion he shows on completing the project is inspiring. Think he would be a great guest😎😊
14:25 I love how nobody is talking about the cake comment. It's such a strange thing to say lol
Ah right on, I love it when you get Zach on the show.
