    The fact that Kerr is already thinking and talking about his exit plan should tell Lacob he made a mistake with that extension.

    They should have let Kerr go this year. It was a mistake to extend him.

    Kerr always says things like, "we cant win without Dray" and also refusing to play the young guys or giving them short leash. And in the other hands you hear Klay, Dray, Curry praising Mark Jackson for the confidence he installed in them. That clearly shows the type of coach this team needs now. Not saying Mark should be back. It wont happen but we need a coach that will instill confidence in the young guys as coach Jackson did with the core.
    Kerr is not the coach for the new era. Extending him might be one of the biggest mistake this franchise has made on top of trading James Wiseman for GP2.

    Respect you Guys from Detroit!
    Stiney, you'll be okay next week! I'm rooting for you!

    Just for the fact that Curry, Klay, Dray, and Iguodala were playing for Mark Jackson and since then (for 10 years now) we didn't have a really good young guy coming out of the draft. (He refused to ply JK, and Moody. Podz is still not all proven but let face it he is no franchise cornerstone or close to it) tells me all I need to know about Steve Kerr.

      Jordan Poole but I agree with your point. Kerr's contract should not have extended. His refusal to play young players is really frustrating to watch.

      @@Telio101 One can argue that Jordan Poole was the worst contract of the NBA at some point last year and probably still is

      @@Telio101 Kerr refusing to play younger players isn't just his fault. It is also on the vets for not wanting to sacrifice. There is no way in hell Klay Thompson should be a 2nd option. He should have been coming off the bench last year. The offense also has to change. The pecking order has been an issue with this team for the past 2 years.

    Seems like Lacob made that decision after Warriors had a winning streak going, but we were playing lower tier opponents. Then in the play-in game, Kerr goes back to his comfort zone of relying on the vets.

    Steinmetz's excitement for the decline of the Warrior dynasty is so obvious. He has literally resented their success.

    Oh well. Two more years of good feels then. Steph klay and dray go down with the ship. And just imagine if they somehow won again. It would be the most incredible run ever

  • @eddie7573
    @eddie7573 Месяц назад

    Gu's premise is wrong that there is still a "Big 3" to build around. While that may true figuratively, it is not substantively. Klay is not a "Big 3" kind of player anymore. Dray is still pretty good, but not what he was and his suspension problems are a real issue. Only Steph plays at a Big 3 level. That is why doubling down on the Big 3 would be a mistake. Mortgaging all of our young assets and draft capital for someone like Durant is not going to win us a title. All we do in that scenario is become the Suns (capped out through the roof, flawed team, and no draft assets), which we don't want.

    Steve Kerr is obviously lining his contract up with Steph’s and Klay’s potential contract, and Dray’s, but Draymond will opt out and spend his last year with 42 year old LePEDs. Do you think Kerr will actually want sit and coach young players when he already dislikes it? Why is this surprising? 😂

    Warriors trade for picks this year. Because they're going to be the Warriors in the mid-90s in 2 years without hitting on a top 10 pick who's going to be the next Curry! There's no big game that'll bring a championship at least it hasn't happened very often in the history of the NBA

    Could This Be The Last Two Years Of Steve Kerr? I sure hope so. He's the most overrated coach in the NBA.
